Fantastic outfitter! Wide selection of real backcountry equipment, not just the popular stuff you find at other big box retailers. Stuff you spend hours looking at on Amazon because no one carries it locally. These guys probably have it. The amount of backpacking equipment is very nice, tons of clothing & boots, and although the backpack section appeared a little disorganized, there were brands like Osprey, Gregory, and I even saw some Hilleberg tents which you wont normally find around town. Theyve expanded into another storefront a few doors down to house their paddlesports equipment. Dozens of boats from sporty whitewater to drop-prop fishing rigs. I had a very pleasant experience and ended up buying some stuff that was on my Amazon wishlist. Things were a hair cheaper online, but if we dont support local outfitters like this, they wont stay around.

The Customer Service at Outdoor Supply Has No Equal. Worlds apart from any outdoor supplier I have ever been to. Charlie was kind enough to loan a couple of kayak paddles so I could take them out for a test spin --before I committed to buying anything! You would certainly never expect (or receive) that level of trust from a "Big Box" store. Prices are more than fair, considering the expert knowledge and first hand experience that comes along with everything they sell. Took a few shots of my kayak and shiny new paddle for ya!

Outdoor Supply Company is an amazing shop. This is a family run outdoor sporting goods store with everything you want under one roof for camping, backpacking, kayaking, canoeing and SUP. They focus on customer service, competitive pricing and the finest quality outdoor gear. Much better quality, selection and service than what you find in the box stores and prices compare to online. Maybe the best outdoor and paddling shop within hundreds of miles. Wish I had found them sooner!

Id had some bad experiences here in the past, but decided, recently, to give it another shot. The first visit was pleasant, they had a younger girl working there who was very outgoing and friendly, as well as helpful. I went in a second time after that, and the experience was good as well. The owner helped me find a PFD I had been looking for for a while, and gave me some information on related items I wasnt aware of.

Gosh! I absolutely love this store! Everyone gives genuine help from experience. Its a friendly atmosphere, and everyone is so nice. They have a great variety of things that I love. If they dont have it, they always get them to me at no extra cost. THATS customer service for you! The only thing I dont like is that I always go in there looking for one item and end up getting ten.

Charlie was very friendly, and very helpful. We came in 15mn before closing time, but never once felt rushed. He took his time (past closing) and helped us find a nice pair of running shoes. They have a nice selection of high end outdoor equipment and apparel.
