I visited the store about a month or so ago to look at some rifles. Great selection of firearms (for a sporting good store). Although. The employee I spoke to in this department didnt seem to know what he was talking about. After asking him a few questions and realizing he seemed unsure of his answers, I asked him a simple question. Which would cycle more efficiently, hollow point or ball. He said hollow point. Which. For gun savvy people, is a ridiculous answer. Only complain I have is that they hire employees to work in departments in which they do not belong. Other than that - great place.

The store itself is nice. Good selection of items. Decent prices on most things. The reason for the two-star review is customer service. I have been in this store a handful of times and only once has an employee ever asked if I needed help finding anything or even acknowledged me at all. I have never been to a store where the staff acts like this. I will probably not be going back to this particular store again.

Kind of pricey, we were looking for a kayak and they had the highest prices of anyone around, although the signs out front say lowest in MS... But good prices on their Costa and Magellan gear, shirts etc. Need to carry more extended sizes for the mens dept.
