They have a great selection but it seems like this place is geared towards women. its split 30% men (maybe less) and the rest women. Their clearance section is pretty sad for guys - the location in Northbrook is better. They are great because of their proximity to everything and parking is usually never an issue here. Great location and been coming here for years. Keep in mind their pricing is a little high - least for guys.

Like coming here regularly to check whats new. The great variety of shoes on discount and mostly important, you can find the right pair of shoes any time, doesnt matter whether its hot summer and you are somehow looking for a nice winter boots. Besides, theres a god choice of bags, purses, scarves and some jewelry

Staff always nice, great selection of shoes & clearance items. Last time I visited, a sales associate spent at least 30min with me, returning my order & trying to have shoes in the right size & color transferred from another store for me (ultimately, they were put on hold & I had to visit the store)

One person offered to help me when I first arrived, then i spent 20 minutes going back and forth to both ends of the store, by the time I needed help, 4 employees were standing around talking and laughing and were too busy to help me, so they lost my business.

DSW is great. You can either find a ton of great shoes, and have to pick the best, or you find none and get to try again a few weeks later because you never know what will be there next time.

Discounts are not great, but I did find a really unexpected nice pair of designer loafers (which on clearance were still over $125), while we went in for my wife, who didnt find anything
