Meh. If youve never been to an AT&T store, they think theyre an Apple store. Im no fan of Apple, mind you, but all I wanted was a replacement DSL modem. I had the model number. I could be in and out in 5 minutes. But the hostess, who verified the thing I wanted was in stock, couldnt sell it to me. So I had to wait for Jim-Bob and Marlou - because clearly they cant afford Verizon - to decide on their first ever cell-phone purchase before I could buy the thing I came for. Instead, I left. Makes me think about going back to - shudder - Comcast.

Went in to return my Note 7 and they wouldnt take it! Yes, my recalled, fire hazard Note 7, they made me walk back out of the store with it all because I didnt have the headphones. Then on top of it all, the manager made it sound like att was doing me a favor by even allowing me to return my recalled phone because some arent. So I got in my car with my "bomb" of a phone and went to the Plainfield store where they took care of me no questions asked. Drive the few extra minutes and deal with people who want your business!

Be careful because in order to get you to sign up for their services they will promise you all kinds of incentives ( the managers) but when you try and collect on them they will not give it to you. Will not even acknowledge me now that he knows what I want. Very disappointed.

In general, I feel this is not an honorable business and its worse that they are part of a monopoly - in internet services - along with Comcast etc. Have spent several hours with not-great customer service and am glad that I dont have to deal with them anymore (for now).

Long wait time. They need more people working in this store to handle the customers, specially if it is the new phone/device launch date. No one has hour plus wait time in this day and age to get their issues resolved or purchase a new device.

Bunch of crooks. Will sell you contract without disclosing real pricing in order to maximize their commissions. Common thieves. Go through ATT website directly to set up your service.
