The staff at this location consistently exceeds my needs and expectations. They go above and beyond to explain the situation, in a way that’s easy to understand, and help their customers get the best deals possible. They treat their customers with the utmost respect and it’s obvious that they take pride in what they do. During my most recent experience at the New Lenox Discount Tire, Kristafer went above and beyond to solve my problem. I had been meaning to make it in for a rotation before a road trip. Turns out, the day before I was supposed to leave I got a flat. I walked in the store around 5:15 pm, knowing full well that they close at 6:00 pm. Kristafer greeted me with a warm handshake and a smile as I explained my situation. After a closer look, it was apparent that I needed a new tire. Kristafer took the time to show me my old tire and examine my rims with me, explaining every detail. The guys fixed me right up and I was on my way again shortly before closing time. There are two things that stand out to me during my most recent visit. First-off, I know full and well that those gentlemen would’ve stayed late to make sure my vehicle was good to go. That kind of customer service cannot be beat. Secondly, the friendly demeanor of each and every staff member at this location consistently exceeds my expectations. I never feel as if I am being sold something and the guys are always happy to take a few minutes to explain what needs to be done or even just engage in a friendly conversation. They treat their customers like family. I would never dream of going anywhere else. Kudos to you New Lenox Discount Tire, you rock!

Discount Tire location at 14011 S. Bell Rd., Homer Glen, IL 60491. Put in valve stems that didnt even come close to matching the other 2 that were put on at another one of Discount Tire stores. Then the associate lied to me that they rebalanced the 2 original tires. I had to go back to get these issues corrected. Because of the mistakes and deception I started dealing with 681 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox, IL, 60451 location. The latest visit I was told 1 to 1.5 hours by Matt. It took over 2 hours and no one said anything about being behind. I could understand if I was told they were running behind. Now 2 days after the tires were installed the vehicle developed a highway speed vibration. We inspected the vehicle and found the stick on weights falling off and missing on all the wheels. It was obvious why there was a vibration. This requires another visit to the New Lenox Discount Tire location. These type of mistakes can be expected from places that do multiple repairs. Discount Tire specializes in ONE SERVICE tire replacement....SO WE THOUGHT.

UPDATED REVIEW: The tire they repaired was leaking again. When I brought it in, they said it was leaking from the patch they put on and couldnt repair it. My only choice, they said, was to buy 2 new tires since you cant replace one at a time (both tires are less than 3 years old). I told them they were the ones who repaired it, so they said they would replace it for free, but my name wasnt "in the system" even though they input all of my information last time. I am trying to find my receipt (I know...I need to be more organized), but without it I am basically out of luck because their "repair" caused the issue. I guess I should have just paid another place to repair it the first time....it sure would have been cheaper than 2 new tires. ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 6 MONTHS AGO): I had a piece of metal stuck in my tire causing it to leak. They not only fixed my leaky tire FOR FREE, but they balanced my tires as well. I didnt purchase any of my tires from them and had no appointment.

I bought the 4 winter tire with rime so I dont have to pay the mounting fee. Guess what when I went to installed my summer tire. Discount tire can not installed my old tire because they look unsafe. They compel me to buy one new tire which I did unfortunately. It would have been fine if they just informed me that I have one bad tire. I think they will recommend you to buy tire even if they are 70% good.

I spent $700 dollars on new tires , the salesman promised to clean up the rims and balance the wheels, - then after I paid, all of the sudden they cant clean up the rims, due to liability issues, and the staff that was trying to balance the tires were of high school education equivalent - I will not ever spend money with them again - extremely disappointed and dissatisfied

We had a bad sensor on our left rear tire on our Altima. They changed it and while trying to connect it with the cars ecm found the new sensor to be bad so, they installed another new one. They also found the right rear sensor had a low battery and they changed it for free since we had to wait so long for the original problem. Well definitely be going back again!

I love this place, it has the mom & pop feel to it even though its a chain. We bring all our cars there for tires & checkups. Over the past year we met a guy that works at their New Lenox building named Alex W. & we use him most of the time because he is fast & courteous

Mgr. Steve was professional, told me exactly what was going to be done. I told him my budget. He got me the right tires. He asked if that was ok. The installation time quoted was close, if not I was informed. Will do business with them again.

Kids who work here have no respect for your vehicle. Witnessed tech pulling Mustang in shop reving to redline. Management doesnt seem to care as attitude reflects leadership.
