Ive been to a number of locations in the US and this is by far the worst location ever. The customer service or lack of is beyond belief. I went in this morning to pick up one item for my wife. The store open at 9am and I was the first customer waiting for the doors to open. I see a gentleman walk up, start to open the door I say good morning and to my surprise no response. I find what Im looking for in a maze of prices. Nothing is priced and very disorganized. I picked and thought I had the right item and when I go to check out the cashier is busy on the phone and saying hi and kissing all her fellow employees. No problem Ill wait a couple mins I get it Im the first customer. She finally check me out gives me my total and it double what I thought it was. She said I picked the wrong item and it not the right priced cancelled my transaction and handed my cash back. I went back found the price showed it to her and was still told its wrong they( her workers ) must have moved items around and not corrected the tag. Oh well it happens I get it. Went back a third time found the right item went back to pay. No hello no did u find the right one. She check me out I hand her my cash no thank you for your business nor Im sorry for your inconvenience nothing. As I walk out I say your welcome. I never set foot in this place until some changes happen. I cant belie this place has any positives reviews.

We Shop there every week our family eats everything from beef to pork and our family is very pleased. There produce starts on the right to left everything in the center is wet to dry foods There standards for produce are average. if you are lucky kimbop and Korean Pancakes are made fresh you may need to throw the pancakes in a toaster oven to get the freshness back when you bring them home to share with the family. After the check out counter there is a extra wing on your right, there is place to get everything from Facial kit, Make-up, and Accessorys.. from what I hear they put up a good fight to the American brands for the ladies I suggest checking them out and post about your experience with the brands. There cafeteria is setup like being in a connection flight to other countries They have a Corner Bakery, sushi, chineese, and Korean food. For the Guys there is a new store called Home Solutions they seem to sell all the eye candy electronic from LG. So for the LG fanboys I suggest checking out there inventory they are 3D ready So if you want to know how its like to shop in another country while waiting in a small airport for a connection flight here is your chance

Just bought 5 pieces Pampano fish worth over $32. I buy only the one that says "deep sea" and from Taiwan. They ran out of not frozen so I ask if they have a frozen one that is from Taiwan. He told me to get some from the freezer but its farm raised in China. I told him I dont like farm raised especially from china. The guy went inside and got some, I ask him if he is sure its from Taiwan, he said yes. Few days after I defrost and clean them and found some pellets in the stomach (food that looks like tablets). I believe the sign "Deep Sea from Taiwan" is not really from Taiwan but farm raised in China, because when you buy them they clean it, so you cannot see whats inside the stomach of the fish and they charge more because it says "deep sea caught". Upset much. This is my second time buying those deep sea pampano, I buy lots to avoid keep coming back often. Used to go to Chicago but when I found out they have here in Hmart we stop going to Chicago.

They have sooo many products its amazing its one of my favorite places to go. The food IS AMAZING at the food court. Staffs are helpful and kind (most of them) The only thing bad about this place is that some of the oldest fruits have mold in it. Also the bathroom is very dirty. The tiles in the bathroom are not even and its kinda creepy looking. But if its all clean and organized, the bathroom will look perfect because the designs are pretty. The Face Shop is amazing and have the best products for beauty. The store is clean and beautiful with nice lighting. The store that lets u buy those fancy clothes have cute clothes I JUST LOVE IT

Well, first overwhelmingly "FISHY" smell when I walked in the store, the fish is in the back. That made me feel like the fish wasnt fresh, so I was then leary of any food. If its normal for having that much fish, Id recommend they get a Scent Air system. I wasnt impressed except for looking at the unusual and in testing packaged foods that as an European American Ive not seen. Im also leary of products coming from China. We went to the Korean resturant on the end, quite frankly Im not a fan of this food. Im not a fan of this part of the world, people good Im sure food.. not so much bland

Great place to shop for Korean Goods, and they also have a bakery and several multi-ethnic Asian restaurants inside. If you were here for lunch or dinner try the soups at the Korean restaurant. Not only do you get soup, but you also get an entire additional tray full of little plates of vegetables and other miscellaneous things which you can put in your soup as well! Also bought a few things at the bakery which definitely were very tasty. Finally dont miss buying the Korean rice cakes they have within the store, theyre excellent with some milk tea.

Nothing special. Almost everything can be found close by either at a better price (was looking for sushi ingredients - Walmart has the same exact products but twice as cheap); or better quality (sushi grade fish - Succulent Seafood has much better fish at the same price). The produce section did not impress at all - seemed a bit overpriced. The lobsters though, and the live fish is a very appealing feature they have. If in a rush, an OK place to grab some stuff once in a while, otherwise I would not use it as a permanent place for food shopping.

Wow! Thats all I can say. My girlfriend and I have been watching a cooking show about Korean cooking and everything mentioned in the show is here in abundance and in lots of variety. I wish this store were closer than 45 minutes away from home....wed stop in once every couple of months for sure. H Marts focus is Korean, which is a bit more exotic (in my opinion) than some other Asian markets in the Chicago area. If youre a foodie, or like unique / exotic food, its worth a stop if youre in the area.

This place has everything an asian food loving individual needs to make your fines dishes... except hot pot broth base but I digress. Produce spread is awesome and the meat/seafood was great. I purchased some hot pot meat cuts (aka Shabu Shabu style) that were solid. Fatty beef and pork cuts that truly hit the spot. Dont expect a friendly face asking you for assistance; its about getting straight to business and swiping that card. I used Android pay though which seemed to temporarily stun the cashier.
