We bought a dishwasher 10 days ago from the Best Buy store in Forsyth,IL and had set up for installation in a week. We were told at the time of purchase that the dishwasher was available in the store. Our installation was rescheduled 3 times and we were told there were issues with the installation people. Finally, 10 days later, we got a call from the installation guy (another person, NOT working at Best Buy) that he was at the store and was told that the dishwasher was not available at the store ! We went to the store immediately and talked to the manager who was very rude and instead of apologizing for the delay and inconvenience said that "the system does not alert them till the date of installation that the product is not available in the store". He also said he could not give me any estimate as to how long it would take for another dishwasher to be available. Seriously ??? Does Best Buy schedule appointments for installation of appliances without making sure they actually have it available ? Also, we were NEVER informed by Best Buy that the dishwasher was not available....they told us at the time of purchase it was available. If not for the installation guy, we would have been waiting for God knows how much longer. And in spite of all that, not a word of apology from any of the staff or the manager. This is just poor customer service. I got the refund for the amount paid (after waiting for over 30 min) and bought the dishwasher from another store. Someone should look into the way things are being handled in the Best Buy store in Forsyth, IL and take necessary action.

Guys, please get your teenagers under control. Theres not that many customers that another employee has to interrupt the one Im talking to RIGHT NOW in order to get their question answered. This happened twice, once while learning about the product, and second at the checkout counter. Wait your damn turn, or ask ME if its okay to interrupt. Im really considering returning this stupid computer because this purchase that was supposed to be a reward for reaching a personal milestone suddenly doesnt feel all that good. The lady that helped me select a product was nice but the others were kind of annoying. Why didnt I just buy the computer from Amazon?!

Never upgrading our phones through Best Buy again. Got charged upgrade fees on our monthly bill when we were told we wouldnt. Spent 2 hours on the phone with sprint. They couldnt fix it and said it had to be the store to fix it. Went to the store and they said they had their sprint representative fix it and guess what. Bill came and they didnt. He took one upgrade fee off and not the other for my husbands phone. Horrible service and now on the line with sprint trying to get this resolved. Again.

I often make my local electronics purchases from this Best Buy. The staff is friendly; often they act like they know more about the products than they do, but I can deal with that. Always greeted when walking in the store, nice although a bit cheesy. And everything is easily accessible in the store, although having a limited quantity of products (due to the size of this outlet). Plan on getting pitched on a protection plan for your purchase...

Awesome customer service by Philip at the Forsyth, IL location on Black Friday. Spent a lot of time with us helping find an item that they were out of by calling other locations and checking on line. Directed us to Springfield location to pick up iWatch. When the store was crazy busy, he still took the time to help us.

Went in looking for a laptop for college programming courses, was immediately helped by a blue shirt employee named Caleb that knew exactly the questions to ask and very quickly helped me find an amazing Asus Q304 within my price range. Definitely an easy experience that ended in a very reasonable budget

Very dated compared to to the Best Buy location in Champaign. Store was very dirty outside with trash everywhere. There were hardly any digital cameras on display which is why I was there in the first place. I can say the employee that tried helping us was very nice.

I dont like how the associates seem to not be experts in their area not to mention that alot of the home audio and mobile audio displays dont work so you can hear it before you buy. The Bose sound bars one had been broke for about 6 months now.

If you need a very common item that would be stocked anywhere, this is about all this store is good for. Fairly small store and low product selection. Fairly understocked and hard to find employees for help at times.

I enjoyed my only experience at this Best Buy. Its much better than the Springfield location as far as customer service goes. Seemed a little smaller but had everything we were looking for.
