my card was double charged. Upon entering the store to resolve the issue, I was simply told that theyre aware of the problem and it wasnt their fault. I was a frequent customer and this particular purchase was $120, so Im out $120 until their bank gets around to reimbursing me. To all this, the manager I spoke to had nothing to say except sorry and couldnt get me out of the store fast enough. If you shop here, check your bank statements and dont expect anyone to care too much if you get overcharged.

I love this place; the wine selection is what originally brought me through their doors. However, the beer selection is what keeps me coming back. I work at a restaurant with roughly 100 beers in stock and my taste has expanded from your normal everyday beer to a much more sophisticated taste. Famous Liquors brings everything to the table; from local brewers like Two Brothers and Goose Island to the rarer things like Chimay and Tripel Karmeliet, they have it all.

Ive visited a lot of stores in Chicago as well as the suburban area and I have to admit this is one of the better stores you can find for craft beer if you dont feel like hitting a binnys. They keep their prices honest, which I appreciate considering the amount of stores I witness price gouge nowadays. You will get some rare gems there too(KBS, BCS). If you live in the area and are a beer snob I suggest stopping in

Great selection of alcohol always a sale going on. What really grinds my gears though is the customer service from the register people. The sales floor that stocks shelves are always hard at work and great when it comes to knowledge of products and they are awesome. They are literally the backbone of this place and always suggest great tasting beer and spirits! The people closer to the front need to work harder.

Great selection of alcoholic drinks. Good place to restock your personal bar. Lots of cool events like wine and champagne tastings every other month it seems. Brings the community together around drinking. Im the type of guy who can get behind that way of thinking.

I wish there was some way to give you guys more stars. My husband Bruce and I loved coming to the wine tasting every Saturday and going to the many wine tasting events!! It was so much fun!! We are definitely going to miss you guys while living in Florida.

They have a great selection of wine and beer. They also have some really good wine and beer tastings throughout the year. They have become so popular now that you have to reserve your spot in advance. Ive never walked out of this place empty handed.
