After seeing a 2017 Chevy Cruze on the website we emailed the dealership. Krystal sent me back a reply with the price of 15,867. She later called and made an appointment with us to see the car. After my daughter got home from work we proceeded to Currie with our email in hand along with the price we were quoted. Our daughter just graduated college and this was to be her first new car. After sitting down with a salesman we were under the impression that the price we were quoted was the price of the car plus tax title and other fees. Then our salesman went to the finance man and comes back with all these rebates that low and behold we dont qualify for and the price of the car was 3,000.00 more. Little did we know that they are deceptive and in the small print it says all rebates are applied if you qualify. On top of it my father is a retired GM supervisor and my husband is a GM technician. All we drive are GM cars. Guess what, we didnt qualify because we had no lease in the family and didnt belong to the farm bureau. Well here we sit with a young lady crushed because she couldnt pay more than what we were quoted in the email. Very much unaware of their practices so we left the dealership with a foul taste in our mouth refusing to ever go back and a young lady crying. This was on Saturday. Monday afternoon we get a phone call from a manager from the dealership. My husband called and was told that the manager was very sorry about the experience we had and that our daughter left crying. He said he would see what he could do and would contact us back. He called and told my husband the price of the car out the door was 15,700 tax title everything. We called him back again and asked if it was ok if she brought her money and a check for the balance. After being told yes we headed there with a very happy girl and proceeded to talk to a salesman who was very nice and he took her money and our check and proceeded with all the paperwork and to get the car ready. Everyone was happy and they kept congratulating her and even handed her the keys when the finance jerk came back to inform her she had to give him 5,000.00 more. Well here we go again. Plus the jerk tells my husband dad and I we are the reason she left crying the day before. We were livid with this man and yep it crushed her once again so much she left crying and threw up. My husband and dad stayed inside to get her money back and the check and was told by the manager that told us the price on the phone over and over that "Im sorry I made a mistake". Very nice man but that didnt help our crying daughter. Never ever again will we or anyone we know go to this place. The finance man is a jerk and Im being very kind and the dealership is very deceptive. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back submitted my daughter to more heartache and that is "Shame On Me"!!!!

Went in for a simple A/C check up, found out that there extensive repairs required. I waited for over 2 hours before being contacted on the status of the repairs and told they needed more time. After 4 hours I went to get some updates and they invited me to the back to speak directly to the mechanic performing the service to describe the issue and that he needed more time. Long story short, the service was longer than I would like, and would have liked to have been notified of status before waiting 2 hours. In the end, they were helpful in pricing and fixed the issue with the A/C. After spending a significant sum of money on the repairs, they quoted me to change my brakes that they said needed done at this time - very expensive - bought the parts and changed myself. However, when I arrived at home I noticed some localized scratches on my rear driver door that I am certain were not there when I dropped off the car. I take very good care of the car and these were fresh scratches. I called and left a message with the service department hoping to discuss the issue. Never heard anything back. I later received a phone call from the service department to review my experience, I told them about the scratch and was told that the service manager would be reaching out to me to address the situation. Week and a half later and never heard anything back. I then proceeded to email the service department employee I had worked with before about the issue, still have yet to hear a week after the email was sent. Willing to bet I wont be hearing back on this issue. Overall, the repair was sufficient; long, but sufficient. The lack of care with my vehicle and poor responsiveness to my concerns, despite that they informed me they would call, have disappointed me greatly and I will not be doing any vehicle work at this dealer again.

I purchased my car from this dealership 4 years ago. At the time, they were one of 2 dealerships in Illinois that had the car I wanted. I left the dealership that day having seen every shady car salesman trick in the book. Dont go here if you want a good or hassle free experience. I went back recently because I was in the area and needed a routine brake job and correction of a recall. I dropped my car off at 7 am for my 9am appointment time.I pulled right into the garage and the least friendly person in the room greets me. I think his name was Ken. He checks me in relatively quick, and reviews the 3 things I needed to have done. I then waited 50 minutes for a rental car in the most crowded waiting room I have ever seen in a car dealership. They apparently werent able to look at my car until 5pm (despite my 9am appointment time). Ken calls and reviews what they found with the car and reviews the pricing on the phone I verbally agree. I get to the service department next day, and wait 40 min to talk to someone about my car. When the cashier hands me the bill, its 100$ more than agreed, and I again have to wait for someone to review the issues. 30 more minutes later Ken walks up and basically tells me this price is what I agreed to on the phone. Turns out they didnt adjust the price of the recall and were expecting to slip this by me. After correcting the bill and I pay, they hand me the keys with no indication as to where my car is on the dealership lot. I again have to wait for someone for this purpose. This entire event took 1.5-2 hours to pick up my completed car and pay the bill. Never again will I purchase from, or use in any way, this dealership.

Best experience I ever had buying a car. I am a very intelligent .consumer. Ive been buying autos for 35 years. I dont like fast talkers or clueless salesman that arent educated about their products. I am in sales and consider myself a person of high integrity. Over the years I have stood up and walked out of dealerships for 2 reasons. First reason is do not insult my intelligence, I do my homework. Second reason I do not respect salesmen that know less about their product than the person buying it. Currie Motors Chevrolet is one of the only places that I visited with an enormous selection, they sharpened their pencil to make the price right, and gave me respect. I dealt with a salesman named Leo. I never felt more comfortable and he was extremely informative and accommodating. This was a very busy store. Leo listened to me then offered me several options. It was as easy as 1,2,3, he appraised my car that I wanted to use as a trade in. I asked him if it could be worth $500 more ? He replied, would I make a deal on their new Camaro if he increased the trade in value of my Impala? I told him I would. Start to finish within 2 hours I traded my Impala and drove away in my new Camaro. That is what I call an excellent experience. In and out no headaches. I live in Chicago I would recommend this Dealership to everybody. The Chevy dealership I visited on Irving Pk in Chicago should send their staff to Currie Motors Chevrolet in Forest Pk for sales training.
