Had my bike locked up right next to this place in the bike lock up area.... They had 2 security officers (one who was on his laptop looking at WHATEVER and the other one was on her cell phone talking to WHOEVER) in which I approached them in their office (because they certainly werent securing the area) and asked them if they saw who stole BOTH wheels off of my bike. After telling WHOEVER "let me call you back," the female "security officer" says that there is no security camera facing that way and that "wheels are stolen from bikes alllll the time. I recommend that you do not lock your bike up there." Seriously? Probably the worst security guards EVER and they should undoubtedly lose their jobs for being lazy and incompetent.

Actually a really spiffy centre to have in the neighborhoud. Need groceries? Pop by Jewel, which has really good sales almost every day. Craving junk food? Pick up something at BK (remember to ask for the they flyer with the latest coupons, they always give it out if you didnt bring one).Need to get some cash or do banking business? Theres a Chase branch as well. The parking lot is huge and I listed three of the many stores that call this centre home. Did I mention its literally right by the Howard subway station?

I always feel that the partnership agreement between CTA and Gateway Centre Plaza leaves more to be desired. You cant walk from the second level of the transit center to the walkway of the shopping center without going down a flight of stairs and back up, despite seeing that the design clearly had some sort of access in mind. Pity they couldnt reach an access agreement (if they even tried).

Not much in here. A Jewell Osco, Sally Beauty, GNC, LA Fitness, and some small stores like Payless, Marshalls, Gamestop, and UPS. Its a little inconvenient to walk through as its shaped like an L, and often there will be some very shady characters hanging around in the stairwell that connects the main level to Howard Station. I wouldnt recommend wandering around here past 8-9PM at night.

Every store is always crowded and ditry especially T-Mobile. There is always very slow service and the workers are always rude. While I was in Jewel Osco I got a simple cheese pizza and it was cold and disgusting. In Sallys the aisles are very small and the workers are horrifically rude.

Its awesome! I come from work get off the train pass through the atrium, go to L.A. fitness for my daily exercise, then go for window shopping or actual shopping at Marshalls. I always go to Jewel Osco from Marshalls to do my groceries or eat salad or some meat. Love it!

This place is convenient for when you need to ship a package, buy some shoes, or find some groceries that smaller stores dont carry. Its your basic strip mall--kind of depressing but sometimes useful.

Thank goodness for Marshalls, Jewel Osco, T-mobile, Payless and Ups. Unfortunately we lost foot locker and some other stores. Hopefully they can get replaced with similar/better options.

Went to the starbucks. Be careful with gps, this one was in the jewel and it didnt tell me. Eh nothing special. Nice staff but i felt bad that the guy didnt have much help.

I visit only Marshall and Payless here. easy to navigate. easy to find parking space. next to CTA Howard Red Line station - good if you have to use public transportation.
