Felt like i was in a mad max trilogy without my guns and dog. I guarantee the amount of hypes and criminals would outnumber the ones in Amsterdams streets, no i take that back the street on state has more of a escape from new york feel without the main character, again the tension and desperation is sad but also disturbing. City services needs to help those peeps out, you would think health and human services would park a mobile unit and shuttle everybody to adult day care facilities that are privately owned, so simple to help and fix, for this i give the city of chicago an F for management its their responsibility to take a proactive approach to help those in need, its a joke give me the grant or budget responsibility and this would be fixed and the lives of the hypes would change for the better

While I adoooooore Block 37, I wish it had more...stores. My family and I have visited Latinicity, Disney Store, Godiva, and the movie theater a bunch of times, but we crave more variety. The labeling of what the ahops are is a bit off too, like that iridium labs or whatever under childrens apparel, but I found better kids options at Zara. Shockingly. Also, more hours for the lower level eateries by the train station would be ideal. Hubbs usually can only go on the weekend, and the entire lower floor nearly is closed or closed quite early. If those two problems were remedied...five star, no problem. Grab a chocolixir from Godiva and stroll the Disney store with your younglings til the changes come. And omg, Latinicity is delicious!

So far Ive eaten at Latinicity, dined in with a glass of wine while seeing a film at the AMC theater, and walked around the mall. I loved the Cubano sandwich I had and really enjoyed dining in at the theater. The theater seats are really comfortable and service was very warm and friendly (actually, thats how the service is everywhere). The mall is really nice with a nice variety of stores, great for mall walking. The pedway is downstairs, so you can get to the L and pedway shops, Macys and the Cultural Center without going outside. The mall is on State Street, so its a great location. Well be back for sure.

I wanted to get to gnc. I got there, it was cool. Ive been there before that time though. You know theres a movie theater? A somewhat large underground parking garage? A few places to eat, and several stores? Plus access to blue and red line trains. Its more than it looks from the outside. I really had no idea, passing the place by several times a week for 3 years, that there was a decent sized mall there. Its not at all obvious, unless you get off the train.

Been here two times already with friends and family. Great place to rest while shopping because they have mini lounge areas and tables to rest or eat. Food selection is limited to Latinicity, which is Mexican gourmet food bit pricey if you are on a budget. Dessert is available with Godiva...movie theater is also present as well as high end retail stores. Your eyes will love the atmosphere and cool stores, however please prepare in advance :)

I use this in the Winter to avoid the elements when I travel to the courthouse. In the summer I travel through here because its the fastest way to avoid security at the courthouse. I have been to many of the shops in here. They have the Disney store, AMC, au bon pan, and other places. There are still a few vacant shops but the places I have visited are good. It gives me a variety of options to try on the way to the courthouse or for lunch.

I love shopping there and having dinner with my family and friends. Black 37 is a wonderful shopping experience not only just the mall but also around the mall itself lots of places to go to sightseeing around the mall as well so I found it a very wonderful place to take friends and family visiting Chicago. Can be a bit pricey but thats . what you paid you get what you pay for. a wonderful shopping experience.

Largely empty, not enough bathrooms for a mall of this size, slow free Wi-Fi with a million other networks interfering, very little seating options. Oh and AMC was $15 at 2pm on a Monday - no wonder it was empty. Showplace has awesome prices everyday before 6pm. Regal on Tuesdays. Overall, just disappointed. Ill come back again just to check out the design museum (which sadly, was closed on Monday).

Not that many stores yet. Latnicity is not that great, most of their food is greasy, AMC is ok, but I tried their food once and felt sick the whole day, so Im not gonna try it again. Pret is great, love their sandwiches and coffee, Sephora,Anthropologie,Zara and LOccitane are awesome! The bakery is okay but Ive had better. Love the access to Pedway, Macys and the CTA.

Has a great vibe. Kept in pristine condition. The parking rate before 8 am is $17, which is a good deal for downtown Chicago. Latonisicy is a Latin food court that is located on one of the higher floors. Think more hipster Mexican inspired as opposed to offering Peruvian or Brazilian dishes. Food was very good lunch fare. Take your colleagues there for a party.

Its still a work in progress (as evidence by the big sign on Randolph/Dearborn that has stated "Entrance Open" for months, but in fact not open, ever.) Theres only a handful of stores here now but it has potential for more. The food option is great. The Dine-In Movie theater is one of the best. Also one of the most expensive. The pedway is clean and convenient.

Block 37 has been a long time in development but is getting better in terms of mall occupancy. The new AMC theater is a great addition and offers dinner service during your movie. A few high end restaurants and retail stores, but as of the date of this review, still a lot of vacant store fronts. Overall, the mall is very clean, beautiful and high end.

Cool place. Convenient for those who live or work nearby. Be sure to visit Latinicity (Latin food hall style restaurant) on the 3rd floor. There are also also connects to the underground pedway (get in elevator and hit B1). Lots of other shops and restaurants down there and great way to get around when its raining or too cold outside.

I remember when we didnt know if this place would ever exist in the first place. Thank you Mayor Daley. Its still half empty. They really need to attract some good retail tenants (perhaps a loop Apple Store?) With more retail shops, this will be the premier shopping destination in the loop. Until then, dont expect much.

I enjoy eating out. The Mall of Georgia area has a great variety of restaurants to choose from....no matter what cuisine you are in the mood. The two latest additions are Smokey Bones and Red Robin. Shoppers have many choices also. The only thing missing for me is a music store that sells a good variety of CDs.

You can shop for some great items at some awesome stores at Block Thirty Seven, 108 N State St, Chicago, IL 60602. This mall is connected to the Chicago pedestrian way that goes from Chicago City Hall in the West Loop over to Michigan Avenue to the train station. Always some great finds in this mall.
