By far the most frightening experience Ive had in Chicago. I went to this infernal location on May 25. I will be sure to never return. As soon as I stepped through the doors, the first store I saw had severed limbs dangling on strings attached to meat hooks, like a human butcher shop. Legs and arms swung, and at the counter past them I saw a pig standing there on his hind legs, making crow noises through his horrible slimy snout. I considered leaving, but my feet carried me deeper into these bowels for some reason. The second store I came across was just a room full of spiders. Literally every inch of display glass, wall, and floor was just a mosaic of spiders crawling everywhere. The one clerk in there stood at the counter with a mischievous wide smile across his scary face. He too was completely covered in arachnids. No thanks! The next store I saw had an old man walking into a vat of acid, just walking into this bin full of green sizzling stuff that engulfed him as soon as he stepped in it. Then another old man went in, followed by an old woman. Never seen that form of euthanasia, but it was disturbing to say the least. Didnt expect to see this in a mall, either. Think the food court is normal? Think again! All of the food was literally rocks. I saw children breaking their teeth on massive rocks while their parents did the same. I saw a nice-looking woman completely destroy her beautiful teeth as she munched on a brown rock. I shouted for her to stop, but she just looked at me like I was nuts. Okay then. At that point Id had enough and just left. I dont know how this place exists. Horrifying through and through.

For this mall, it is a stylish and modern shopping center with a major focus on clothing and accessories. There are a small selection of shops for kids (Lego store, build a bear) but again, mainly focused on clothing. It is connected to the American Doll store, and another spot for kids. Pros: -Food court -quick elevators -Lots of clothing shops Cons: -Limited variety for kids -Limited shopping experience outside of clothing and accessories -Fairly small (like 6 stores per floor so be prepared to travel between floors. Alot) -elevators and escalators get crowded quickly Overall: Shopping for the next set of shoes or jeans for a special occasion or just to take out to the bar next week? The Water Tower Place will fulfill all your shopping needs! Always remember to stop by the food court for some snacks if youre ever feeling hungry as well! (If youre looking for anything else, sorry but youre out of luck).

From decades ago as a young person, this has been one of my favorite architectural feats. An eight-story indoor mall! I still enjoy the see-through elevators and cruising up and down the escalators from floor to floor shopping for just-the-right gift. Its along Michigan Avenue, in a fairly ritzy shopping district, so the upscale prices in many places shouldnt be a surprise. Public parking is available at meters. Tons of public buses run, right nearby. This is a great place to bring your country cousins and let them enjoy the sights and sounds and spaces of big city living and shopping!

If in Chicago this is one of the places to stop by and check out, walking around Michigan avenue and next to the John Hancock Building you can stop by here. On my last visit the place was nice and clean and a lot of casual stores. I did stop by Express, Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, Oakley, Macys, Starbucks for some coffee, Auntie Annes for some dessert and lastly if you are hungry Harry Carays is on the top floor for food. But there are a lot more stores to choose from.

Every well known retailer is at this upscale shopping destination. You could get lost in here for hours. The food court area is especially amazing; its all very high quality, and there are a couple of full service-sit down restaurants, in addition to various counter service offerings (many famous Chicago eateries have stands here). A must-see venue for locals and tourists alike, as this is easily one of the more well known places on Michigan Ave.

It is Michigan Avenue at its most interesting array of shops. American Girl store is not to be missed, even if you dont have a preteen girl. It is a place of wonder. Then exit on American Girl 2nd floor, and youre right next to the Lego store, another place of wonder. Also, plenty of small clothing, jewelry and home goods stores, in addition to Macys. Macys is to be commended for striving to maintain the Marshall Fields legacy in Chicago.

Came here to eat lunch. Great variety of food to choose from in the food court in the upper level. Can be crowded during lunch hours due to its location. Pricing is fair for the location it is in. I would recommend coming here to eat if you have a group of people who have different tastes and cravings for different types of food. Options for food include BBQ, pizza, soups and salads, stir fry, and many more.

This is a nice mall in the famous Chicago water tower place. It has some great and some popular places. Highlights include: American Girl Store, Garretts Popcorn stand, Harry Carys Restaurant and Museum, Dr. Seuss Museum, Lego Store, Food Life, M Burger, Broadway Playhouse Theater and more. Parking is expensive, but is less expensive with validation and if you park early in the morning or after 5.

When I saw buy two pairs of flip flops for $4 here i was both amazed at the good deal and, as I quickly realized, entirely mistaken. In fact it was 2 pairs of flip flops for $40. That astonishingly bad deal was certainly in good company. The best way to utilize this mall is to find products you desire, put them back, then proceed to order them off Amazon upon returning home.

Its a really nice place there! From cultural arts to Lego, from nice food to sports, from make up to board games, the WTP is a really good location for Chicagoans to come together and celebrate one of the greatest cities of all time! I wish there were mlre places like a vintage shop, a video game store, and a movie store; hopefully, wed get more stuff like that down the line.

If youve never been, at least go once. Its been over 10 years since I visited the Water Tower. I actually dont have much of a problem with the store themselves. Its a mall but I think the selection of stores are solid. The food court is a nice touch with 14 restaurants to choose from. Also, get to the seventh floor and get some popcorn while youre there.

Convenient shopping mall downtown with a huge variety of stores and a really cool food court. Can be a little expensive depending on the store and the fact that its the Water Tower downtown, but overall a great place to shop of youre in the area. Not to mention the offices upstairs on the 9th floor (surgical center, plastic surgeon offices, salon/spa, etc).

Nice mall in Chicago. American Girl Place and Lego store are some of the good shops for kids among typical mall stores such as Macys, Vera Bradley, Pandora and a decent food court on the mezzanine level. For first time visitors its a good place for Chicago shopping. The glass elevator is a nice touch and the water feature as you enter is unique.

Visited this mall again after a couple of years. They have a large Carrefour inside which is convenient. Its not a high end mall compared to other malls in the area like Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, etc but its enough to keep you busy. Lots of international brands there. M&S, Debenhams, H&M, etc. Lots of eateries too such.
