Its two things, a liquor store and a bar. I guess theres a sandwich shop in there too, opened recently., But I havent tried that yet Liquor store has a wide variety of beers and upscale liquors. Staff is pretty knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help. The bar has pretty good bartenders, fast, know their drinks, and sociable. They have live music occasionally, and a porch (with smoking) open in the summer. The Wednesday special is pretty great, $4 drafts of almost all beers. They have... Maybe 16ish rotating handles, so there are several new things to try most times I go.

Recently renovated, the liquor store at Crown Liquors carries a good selection of local drafts. The service isnt particularly friendly or helpful - theres a low bar for service at liquor stores in Logan Square/Avondale and they barely rise above it. The bar, in back, contrasts in that the bartenders are friendly and the dive vibe from the spaces previous occupants is intact. They allow you to bring your own food in, including slices from Dantes around the corner.

Just really disappointed. Wife and I took off work and drove over half an hour to come to the release yesterday, but were turned away because we had a baby. This was at 4:30 in the afternoon. We were hoping to try a couple variants and purchase what was available at 6:00, but that wasnt the case. Supported the place before I had a baby, but not anymore.

Good high quality liquor selection for a quality home bar. All ingredients needed to make most drinks. Does suffer from not having cheap versions of ingredients that are more common in liquor stores. Great sandwich shop inside. Attached to a cool bar that sometimes does live music. A bit pretentious but all around good experience.

This place is great. Top notch beer selection and very good cocktails. Sometimes, they have music or a DJ. The outdoor space is small, but nice. you can order food from other places and bring it in. And, unlike some other spots in this area, they do take credit cards. I like that they usually are not that crowded, either.

One part liquor store, one part trendy bar. I had a few cocktails here recently and was blown away at the creativity and quality for how cheap they were. Plenty of long tables and group friendly space as well if youre meeting with your crew.

Loud, boring average decor (there are about 100 bars in Chicago that look exactly the same) and clientele. Playing music i listened to in high school to a crowd of 30+ year olds pretending to have a good time.

Liquor store with a bar in the back. Unfortunately not very common in the area of the city I am from, but it was very cool. Their bar has some eclectic stuff. I cannot speak to the selection in the store.
