Gourmet Chocolate eh?? I dont think so. I purchased some items due to a gret Groupon offer, so why not. Little did I know that the prices this place charge are so ridiculous you need a Groupon to afford it!! And unless youre local, forget about it. I live in Las Vegas (it gets a little hot here) and they wanted an EXTRA 20 bucks to ship!!! No thank you. The pictures on their website (false advrtisement it may as well be) are the worst. After looking at everything on the website I deceided on the Chubby Wubby cookie assortment. I was totally expecting a nice size cookie when I ordered because the website showed a nice size cookie! And especially because it was $44 for 16 cookies with shipping ($2.75 / cookie). When I got them in the mail they did come in very nice packaging, but I was blown away to see round cookies as big as a Quarter!! They tasted good, but nothing gourmet about them. So In short, Chocolate Gourmet - Lower your prices a bit and tell people how small your serving sizes are so we know exactly what were buying. In the mean time Ill stick wih Sees candies or Godiva. As expensive as they are, theyre at least worth it.

For my daughters wedding we decided to serve only wedding cake for dessert, so we wanted to serve a cake that was not only delicious, but filling - a sliver of bland pastry would not do. Several reviews of Cake on Yelp stated that the servings were generous, and they were correct. Each slab of our four layer cake with four generous fillings was about 3" wide, 6" tall and 1 1/2 " thick. That is a lot of cake, expecially when it is rich, delicious and one of the fillings was uncommon! We read over and over in previous reviews that guests declared that the cake from Cake was the best wedding cake ever, and they were not wrong. It was! The basic decoration we chose was lovely. Our cake was expensive, but it worth the price. Consistent 5 Star reviews should be very persuasive!

My boyfriends sense of humor is unmatchable and I knew I had to do something off the wall for his surprise 40th birthday party. I had no idea where to go but after reading many reviews online I decided to take a leap of faith and called Cake. After speaking to Katy a few times, sending some inspiration photos I found online and many emails back and forth the order was placed and I was anxious to see the final result. Well it turned out AMAZING!! Everyone was taking pictures and commenting on how great it looked and tasted! No doubt I will be calling Katy in the future and recommending this place to everyone!

I ordered a several boxes of chocolates and cookies as xmas presents for clients and purchased extra for myself. AMAZING!!!! I wish they had a storefront where you could just purchase a piece or two...They are a bit pricey as Chase indicated, but their chocolates and cookies are well worth the price AND the calories. The sugar cookie with raspberry dolip is the BEST. Not a huge fan of the chubby wubbies - they are a bit too rich. HINT! If you live in Chicago, pick up yourself to save the shipping cost.

Is there a 6 star option?!?!? Best cake EVER!!! So many varieties of flavor combinations. Mary helped me decide on white cake with bittersweet chocolate/salted caramel, then bitter sweet chocolate/creme brule and finally the chocolate/salted caramel again. Their whipped Italian Meringue frosting is so high-end!! Everyone loved my cake! Oh, and did I mention how beautiful my cake was???

For our wedding, we were nervous about being "assigned" to a cake place. But this is the most delicious cake, fillings and frosting I have ever had in my life. Mary was incredibly sweet and caring. She even made my fiancée and I a doggie bag to take home and try! I dont care how much these cakes cost, you are doing yourself a disservice if you dont go to Mary!

They were great to work with and delicious! They were included in our venue package, but we were not disappointed! They were open to any ideas we had for decorating. We ended up spit-balling ideas and they were able to put a crazy print on our cake that I never expected! On top of it all, the cake is great. I would definitely order from them again.

Their truffles are good but their jard cakes arent anything to be excited about. Their buttercream frosting tastes just like plain butter, which is a disappointment from a professional baking company.
