Cannot give a good review here unfortunately. I purchased a bike, sight unseen, because I live several hours away. I was assured the bike was in mint condition, like new. I specifically asked about maintenance and the tires. Was told the tires were like new and all maintenance was done- I even paid a dealer prep fee which supposedly included all the maintenance. Was even told "the carbs were cleaned". Got down there and the bike looked good and it rode OK too. Loaded it up and drove it home on my trailer and that is when I noticed the problems. Some of this is my own fault for not checking the bike over better, but it was dark out when I picked it up and it looked good upon cursory examination Anyways, the following morning the bike had leaked gasoline all over the garage. After going on online forums and checking the owners manual- it turns out the petcock seal was shot, causing the fuel to spill into carbs. The carbs float needles were trashed, so the gas continued to fill up carbs, which then began leaking all over the bike and spilled over into crankcase. I removed carbs and sent them away to be cleaned properly and the guy said they were all clogged up and several seals were bad. I ended up ordering a new petcock and I have to change plugs and oil again because gas got in the crankcase. Total cost- $450. When I questioned Arlington Motorsports after the fact about what they actually did to "clean the carbs", I was told they "dropped one float bowl". That is hardly considered cleaning carbs. And the problems keep coming. The front master cylinder was nearly empty of brake fluid and the stuff that was in there was almost dark brown. The clutch and rear brake masters were also nasty and brown and nearly empty. The tires (which they told me were like new) are all dry rotten with cracks everywhere deep inside treads So new tires, carb rebuild, new petcock, all new brake and clutch lines and fluid, carb sync--- all are going to cost me nearly $1000 on a bike that was "like new". I contacted them and they offered to "take a look at it", but that is not practical since I live far away and I dont trust them anyways. They are nice enough people, but I would be hesitant to trust them.

I honestly dont know why anyone would come in here for service or a bike purchase. A couple weeks ago I saw that they had posted a Honda CBR to cycle trader for $3,400. I ride my motorcycle to the shop to take a look at the bike in person. I see it listed as $4,300 or something close to that I can no longer remember. I inquire about the bike to the owner, who clearly has no desire to speak with me. I ask about the price in shop to the price compared online, to which he replies "oh wow, well thats a really good price, I guess I would have to sell it for the price online then." This is a red flag. Not only is $3,400 remarkably over the KBB value anyway, but hes trying to bait me into a phony deal. He doesnt offer a test ride. He scoffs at my little rat rod Honda VLX600 I rode over. He sits there with his arms crossed staring at my while I examine the bike. So I take my business to Craigslist and my $3000 I had in cash with me and purchase a 2003 speed triple for a signifcantly better deal. Its now a couple weeks later and Im looking for tire installation on my speed triple. The shop I ordered the tires from cant install until next week, and Im going to be in the suburbs so I give these guys a call to see if they can possibly fit me in today, you know, because maybe their slow. The guy on the phone was a condescending prick, lecturing me about how "You want to push everybody back so you can get your tires on," and mocking the fact that I said I would be in the suburbs getting lunch with my mom. You would think this shop is run by a bunch of moody teenagers trying to pull a fast one on you. Location is the only reason these guys are still in business. Take your business elsewhere if you have the opportunity. Des plaines honda has always been professional and great, give them a shot before you head here out of necessity.

They know their stuff Great bikes Easy to deal with. I bought a Kymco Grand Vista from a private party last year. Recently I decided to trade it in. The salesman was more than happy to assist me. He offered me a good deal in a bike, and a great trade in offer. Now, I Decided to keep my Kymco since Ive done some work and repainted it. When I stopped by today to explain it, they were understanding. So I told them is like it serviced instead. I needed new tires, and the tech quickly said he wouldnt do them due to them being so small. He explained himself very week as to why and his reasoning was legitimate. I then asked him about a bent change, he me a quick pricing. Of course they wont haggle much, but thats to be expected from a small shop. Ill be taking my bike to them for repairs and when I do decide to trade it in Im going to head straight to them as well. Great place, great staff, and always helpful (they moved bikes for me to inspect while I was thinking about trade ins without hesitation) I highly recommend this place.

I didnt have a good experience at this dealership. I was in the market for a Honda Grom and after looking online I found a listing by them for 2599. I called them the next day and asked what the out the door price was, which they said about 3000. I thought it seemed reasonable, so I went in to go look at it. Once going in, the sticker price was 200 more than online, and they said the out the door was 500 more than originally told. The price inconsistencies were a bit shady. The bald guy at the shop was not willing to work with me or even give me the time of day. It was kind of rude and they clearly dont seem motivated to sell their products. I dont even know the guys name because he didnt want to really talk to me. I told them I was quoted by another dealer that price out the door for a new one and he told me to go buy a new one, so that was that. Dont waste your time going here. Unfriendly staff and I received no customer service.

My name is Valente Montenegro from Franklin Park IL. I purchased a 2001 Yamaha V Star 1100 cc Custom Dragstar on 05-17-2014. I got the best service, and the best equipment. At Arlington Motorsports they are really on your side and give you the best for your money. I got the bike I fell in love with. The bike sounds like a wild Silver Back gorilla. Rode out of the dealership and drove it all weekend no problems. They really had pick all their bikes. Arlington employs people with the same burning passion for bikes we all have. Give them a try they will really suprise you they deliver. I am getting another bike from them soon. Better put down your deposit before I get it. We only have three months of good weather. So ride out Chicago style but do it with Arlington Motorsports in Arlington Heights. I am very happy, well time to roll out see you on the road.
