We had an insane experience at this store! We went in looking for car seats for our son. He is almost 3 years old and 36 pounds and we wanted something we could keep him extended rear-facing for a while. So while we are looking at seats a guy (didnt catch his name - wish I had!) comes over to see if we need any help and what we were looking for. We said that we didnt need any help but thanks anyway. Then he asked if we were shopping for our son (he was with us) and says that for our sons size we should be looking at booster seats! Um, what?! We were looking at rear-facing seats up to 45 lbs. I told him that we were looking to keep our son rear-facing until 40 or 45 lbs. He then starts going on and on about how it is ILLEGAL to keep a child his size rear-facing and "it is actually against federal law". Um what again?! This guy is an idiot. We did a lot of research before we made this decision and it is much safer to keep children rear-facing as long as possible. Had we been parents that didnt do research or god forbid new parents that needed help choosing a safe seat for a child, we would have this guy telling us to throw our 2 year old in a forward-facing booster seat and not knowing any better! Having people like this working in your stores not only makes your company look ignorant, but could put children at risk. Unreal. Get it together, Toys"R"Us! We wont be going back to this location.

Overall, I feel frustrated not just with Babies R Us in Meridian, but in general. I had a good experience buying a stroller and carseat there but after that it was downhill. I tried to use the Rewards R Us a couple times without success. The first time I purchased something online that they then ran out of stock, and subsequently my purchase was canceled, and I could not get my rewards points back. The second time I went to the store, and tried to redeem them, only to be told by the cashier that they had already rung up my purchase and so I couldnt use my points for that transaction, even though I hadnt paid for the purchase yet. Another time I went in to purchase a gift card for a baby shower, and at first, it seemed the cashier did not want to help me, but referred me in the direction of a kiosk (which wasnt there), even though there was no one else in line with me and that was the only thing I wanted to purchase. Now, I am trying to use a gift card that was given to me for my baby shower, and it wont work online. I am now dreading how it will be handled by customer service when I go to the store in person.

CHECK THE PRICE!!! I took my son to Toys-R-Us this past Sunday so he could use a gift card and money he received for his birthday. He picked out an RC car that had a posted price of $29.99. We got to the register and it rang up at $69.99. Being that there was more than one of the cars on the "wrong shelf" the employee said they must have been stocked wrong. Not wanting to spend that much money, my son chose a second vehicle that was marked on the shelf at $21.99. This one rang up at $34.99. Third try...the shelf was marked at $29.99, the car rang up for $43.99. After some held back tears from my son the manager did agree to sell him his first choice for 1/2 price. My son made the comment on the way out of the store that "thats how they rip off customers. When a child is screaming and wanting something, the parents pay the price it rings up for and dont pay any attention to the fact that wasnt the price it was marked". From the mouths of babes!

This is NOT directly towards the store in Meridian. It is more so for online purchases! I bought a bike for my 2 year olds birthday and they sent one WITHOUT pedals. We sent it back to their warehouse and have been calling and trying to get our money back for about 6 months! Its ridiculous! They keep telling us they are sending out a new gift card and we never receive it! I am very disappointed they ruined my 2 year olds birthday and havent done ANYTHING to fix it! I would have been happy if they would have sent out a new bike that had pedals, but they wouldnt even do that. They said we had to wait for the gift card and repurchase the bike online to get a new one sent out! Horrible customer service!! I will NEVER buy from Toys"R"Us again nor will I encourage others to do so because of our experience! Very very unsatisfied!

The store manger Kathy is amazing she went above and beyond to make sure my daughter got her Christmas gift . We came into the store to buy her Minnie Mouse power wheel and have it sent to our home. After purchasing this gift we received an email telling us it was out of stock and they couldnt get us one :( The next day Kathy took it upon herself to find one at a different store and have it shipped to her store so we could pick it up from her. We went to pick it up only to find out they did not refund the money back to our gift card like the email stated for the first car. So instore we called customer service and Kathy waited the 30 mins on hold to fix the issue. Only to be hung up on by the lady that answered who was very rude. Kathy again went above and beyond to help us out and get my daughter her Christmas gift :)

Im not sure where the negative comments are coming from, but throughout the past year my husband and I have recieved nothing but awesome service each time we go in. We are expecting our first born shortly and the staff has gone out of their way multiply times to help us with any questions or concerns about items we have had. Exchanges and returns have been easy, they were extremely helpful and patient with us while it took us FOREVER to register answering all of or questions and even took a coupon for a item I bought the day before and gave us the difference. I for one do not think they had to since it was not their fault I thought I lost the coupon but they were so nice in helping us out. Obviously some employees are friendlier than others but some customers are friendlier than other too.

Started my registry here and because family members, friends, and myself didnt wait at least 24 hours for things to be added to my registry, I dont get any of my rewards for them. The employees encouraged me to add things to the registry and then check out to get the rewards. Even the things that were on there for weeks are showing not purchased, including several big ticket items. In store employees have shrugged and said they were having website and system issues around the time I was using my registry. I contacted the customer service line where the CSR told me that I was trying to steal from the company and that I was lying because I didnt have my receipts. Their customer service online, over the phone, and in store is a joke.
