This rating is for the automotive service center only. First time I went there earlier this year, I had oil change and tire rotation. They didnt close the hood securely and my tire inflation dashboard light came on. Didnt notice until I got home. I let it go. Took my car there again this past weekend for oil change. Long story, but the protective plastic panel under the engine fell off, except for one screw on a back corner, the second time I drove it afterwards. In effect, that panel became like a scoop dragging and flapping along the road and could catch on any uneven surface it encountered. So here I am on the ground in front of my car alongside a busy road with speeding cars on a hot sunny day trying to push the panel up and try to catch it on something in hopes it would hold long enough to get where Im going. I weigh all of 100 lbs and have a medical condition where I physically cannot tolerate the combination of heat and bright sunlight like we had that day (the situation could have ended badly for me). There was no one I could call for help that particular day, not one of the many vehicles that passed would stop to offer help, and I had to get to my destination to get my special needs granddaughter off the school bus within the next 15 mins. Quite obviously the panel was not properly reattached. When I called Walmart to express concerns about both of my visits to them, the service manager told me that video footage showed that the panel had been replaced and that his research showed that Honda has had a problem with the panels. I said it was quite a coincidence that Ive had the car for 2 years without a problem (purchased new) and suddenly the panel comes off shortly after they removed it and supposedly "properly" put it back on. The only thing he had to offer was my next service for free. Really? Like Im going to trust my car to them a third time? I think not, and of course, being that Im sure he knew I wont be back, they arent out anything if I choose not to go back. It would have been good public relations to make it up to me by apologizing for any inconvenience and giving me back my 50 bucks for all the inconvenience they caused and essentially putting me in a potentially physically dangerous position. I would have accepted a refund. I ended up having to drive the car very slowly to my destination, which could have ruined the panel if the dragging front edge caught on the road surface and tore the entire panel off (which then I would have had to pay to replace). I had to leave the car at my daughters house and borrow her car to get home and go to work the next day. My son-in-law managed to prop the panel up somehow when he got home that evening and took the car about a 1/2 mile away to a friends garage the next day. So my daughter and son-in-law were also inconvenienced by Walmarts incompetence. Turns out that panel is normally held on with NUMEROUS clips and screws, but all that was left was ONE screw and no clips. You will never convince me that Walmart properly replaced that panel. Incompetence... pure and simple. If they cant properly replace a plastic panel with screws and clips, they sure as hell shouldnt be putting their hands in anyones engine. Was this a serious car breakdown? Certainly not. But their actions put me in a potentially dangerous situation. These establishments need to realize that even a seemingly simple thing has the potential to have a serious impact on someones life. They have no excuse.

About Wal-mart Crazed with craft in my eyes-maybe I didn’t see the signs. I did see the big neon clearance sign that hung over the rack of ribbons. The big red tags on the rolls 10 cents 25 cents. But, I missed that invisible sign until I got to the register, sold by the yard. You will have to go back to be measured. What? Well, after waiting in this line for 15 minutes, I proclaimed my stance. There is nothing anywhere that says I have to measure ribbon. 20 rolls each one measured, how do you spool the ribbon back up I asked? On what?( which I still don’t understand). The gal with the big walkie talkie(the floor manager I guess) came over by this point and she held up her two fingers in a pitchy gesture and said “You can carry it out”. What? Are these people nuts, was the obvious look on my face. My final rebuttal was, that there was no sign stating that this is sold by the yard, Not even on the Big red clearance tag stuck to the spool. She said “well I knew that ribbon is sold by the yard”. That statement was about the rudest thing she could have said; I heard you idiot anybody would know that, even I knew that. After a 5 minute battle at the registered I left angry and disappointed in the customer service, in not getting my ribbon, and in the way that wal-mart has a real issue with misleading customers into thinking something is one price listed but ringing up another at register ; If you are not watching things get rung up you will be charged “the true wal-mart price”. I went again to wal-mart when I decided to write this review; I took pictures of a bunch of misrepresented priced items. I figured either people are not paying attention at the register or by the time they see the price difference they are already in need or want of the item so they are willing to pay “the Wal-Mart price”. Either way this has worked for wal-mart because they are all over the store. Next time you are there take notice. By the way I did end up getting my ribbon at Micheals. When I asked if it was sold by the yard the helper looked at me strange, kinda laughed a friendly laugh and said oh my gosh we haven’t done that in so many years.

If I could I would give this storeNO STARS. Im beyond disappointed and disgusted with Walmart in Caldwell, Idaho. They are a joke!! A "host" named Annabelle and the assistant manager Thomas should NOT be working here as they are unprofessional, rude, and humuliate the hell out of customers. The "host" Annabelle who was at self check out because this store was busy with each line full took my bag of items and said I couldnt purchase and refused to give the bag to me due to me using coupons, let me add these coupons were for the exact product and nothing was wrong with them! When I asked to speak to the manager the asst. mamager Thomas came up and was also rude, took no time to listen and pretty much said the host could tell me no if she wanted to. I told them I would like the bag back with all the items so I could purchase w/o coupons and she refused to give them to me. I must add, I purchased the exact same product using the same coupon yesterday with no problems when the manager yesterday came to approve. There was a guy employee that came up to talk to her and I was waiting at the machine waiting for her to approve the transaction SHE CANCELLED NOT ME, when all she was doing was pretending to write so she could just humuliate me and make me wait there and he told her I was needing her to push okay and she looked at him and told him not too and whispered something. He then went to go scan his badge on my machine and apologized. He was just a csm not even a manager. I called coorporate as well as the store and spoke to a manager whom is having the main store manager Marcy call me by Wednesday regarding this. Honestly, spend a few more dollars and go to Albertsons or drive down the road to the Walmart Market or a little drive over to Winco where all employees act professional and dont act like they own the store. I forgot to add when I callex the store the manager said theyve all been told they need to ease up from being so rude to couponers and as long as its not a wrong product then to do it. Sad they lost my business and money for good!!
