Planet Fun is great for classic games. But whats most impressive is that it has something for any type of nerd. From action figures to dolls to baseball cards to comics/manga. Its well organized and clean. Everyone feels welcome, male or female, adult or child. The selection and service is kind to all. Prices are reasonable on the selling end. Ive heard local artists get good prices on the buying end, but I dont know about video games, books, etc. Finally the owners are generally good people. You wont feel judged if youre not nerdy or purchasing a gift, like you may at other video game or comic book stores.

I made my first visit to Planet Fun today, and just standing at the entrance to this little shop, I was filled with an authentic sense of awe--what faced me were thousands of memories and a tributary shrine to everything that made up my younger years and a great many of my older ones. The staff was very courteous to the customers and they definitely knew what they were talking about. The selection was vast--enough to warrant multiple visits just to peruse through that little niche of heaven. From video games to manga to fun prank toys, every part of Planet Fun has made me a lifelong customer.

Planet Fun is a fantastic shop, selling not only used videogames, nostalgic toys, and comics, but also the work of local artists. The owner of the shop is extremely knowledgable and both charges and pays a fair price for the wares hes buying or selling. Whenever Im on Broughton Street, I try to make it a point to check out whats new at Planet Fun. If youre looking for a well curated manga selection, Planet Fun is a great choice. The used books are very affordable, and the selection is continually growing. I always find something to add to my collection.

Fantastic store with amazing merchandise! Perfect place to find any past gen titles you want for gaming (not matter how far back). Also, comics, action figures, and plenty of retro mix and matched items. Ever since finding out about this place Ive become a weekly regular because of their prices, which usually beat out finding this stuff on ebay, and their dedication to perfectly repairing and play testing all their old games and toys to make sure you always buy something that works the way it was meant to.

They had such verity of stuff to chose from . . . I went there for retro games but when I first walked in you see comics Mangas colectible toys even nintendo t shirt and of course a very large selection of retro games. Also some very good deals on most of it. I will defiantly go there again. PS I got one of the zelda oracle games and they were very helpful at by suggesting which one he would get and the differences. Also games are garenteed to work if they dont just bring them back

This may be one of my all-time favorite spots in Savannah. This vintage toy/ comic book store is chock full of nostalgia. The store is well lit and the staff is friendly and always helpful. I have personally come for the old My Little Pony dolls but I have left with purchases such as Masters of the Universe, Star Wars and TMNT. They have so many toys from my youth in the 80s and 90s! I highly recommend this store for all the kids who have never grown up; this place is for you.

Awesome stuff here, I was extremely excited at some of the things I found; not too over-priced like some small comic book/video game businesses are known to be. Guys at the counter were friendly and knowledgeable, and the only thing is I wish wed been paid a little more attention when we stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before being checked out. They were invested in a conversation with other people though so it was no big deal.

Wonderful Staff and Knowledgeable Owner! No matter what you might be looking for, the odds are better in your favor going here then any other toy store. Youll find unique items, throwbacks, high end collectibles and your favorite movies and games from most systems. If you ever are unsure the staff can direct you to some real keepers, and perhaps throw in a joke or two.

This is a must-see place in Savannah if you like video games, Pokemon, or just ThinkGeek style toys. I love the retro video game selection. They also have very reasonably-priced Prima Guides. My son and I stopped in here "just for a minute" and my daughter eventually came and got us because she and my wife were getting bored with waiting.

A lot of great retro toys and memorabilia. The comic books were well organized, the toys and action figures were plentiful. It was the cleanest and most well-organized comic book and collectible shop. Most shops like these look like fire hazards. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I only wish I had more money to spend in here.

This place is magical... not just normal magical but sparkle rainbow unicorn farting glitter and kittens magical. Awesome workers, nice layout, doctor who, so many old videogames, figurines, cards, gags, comics, and the CHEAPEST manga Ive ever seen!!!!!!!!!! This store makes me poor....happy and poor.

I just inherited an old wii but it was missing an av cable. I thought Id have to get one off ebay, but these guys had it. They were very knowledgeable and also had cheap used wii games, I couldnt find any at gamestop or eb games. Im definitely going back here for any video game needs in the future!

Fun place to shop. Pawn shop for nerds. They all kinds of toy nostalgia from all decades. Staff is very friend and will talk to you about anything you want or need. My girlfriend and I have made friends with all the staff and know us by name. Go there anytime were downtown.

Everything you miss from your childhood is here! Buy and sell old toys, old game consoles, games, and anything nostalgic. They also have a large selection of comics. Theres even a small place for patrons to play card games. I always visit Planet Fun when I head downtown.

Great store! Lots of collectibles, used games, current comics, trades, toys etc. Rather small selection of back issues but the pricing was great and the deals were awesome! Lots of selection for all ages and all interests. Good atmosphere and location! 10 of 10!

Planet Fun has a wide selection of art, toys, comics and games. Some of the games are playable, including a duck hunt cabinet and a few others. There are older collectable toys in cases at the back of the store, and local art prints for sale in the front.

Very cool local comic store with toys and video games. Prices were reasonable and staff wad friendly. They didnt mind people browsing all the neat stuff they have. Look forward to returning someday.
