Worst possible experience!! I am a business owner myself and I would never treat a customer as I have been treated. Called and put a deposit on a machine; was told 2 weeks to be ready. Website states free delivery with no mention of distance area, so I agreed to come pick it up (should have been a warning sign). Never heard back, so I called again. Machine is still not ready and was told by the owner that the sales lady never told me 2 weeks (was buying it for a birthday gift in 3 weeks so why would I have ordered it if it was not going to be available?!). Said he would have it ready the following weekend for me to pickup and they would call; I agreed to wait. Another week, then 2, goes by and no call to pick up the machine. I call again. The lady told me the machine is still having problems and they cannot fix it but will deliver free of charge for my inconvience. (It is now 3 weeks past my daughters birthday). Waited another week and still heard nothing from them. Sent the owner a text message and he responded that he will NOT be pushed by customers when they are getting free delivery. I said pushed?! The machine was supposed to have been ready over a month ago and I am pushing you?! He said yes the free delivery is only when he has a delivery in my area again (I live 3 hours away; it could take months for someone else to need a delivery my way!) I told him that I was never told that and why would I agree to that? He said he didnt want my business and that I needed to call for a refund (umm, they should call me!). Out of town buyers beware: bad customer service and obviously cannot fix a pinball machine. Or, as I bet this case really is, they sold my machine to someone else and are trying to find one to replace it and cannot find one, so they keep making excuses. Either way, this was a horrible, awful experience. Got proof in text messages if anyone wishes to read them. Wish I could post them online for everyone to see!!

Purchased an used air hockey table and was promised it would be cleaned an refurbished. Upon delivery it was obviously it was not the same unit that I had picked out in the store. It was covered with black grease and the inside was filled with 20 years of dust, debris and smelled of smoke. That was not even the worst of it. The motor makes a whining sound, the machine does not function properly. They left uncapped power wires just laying around in side the unit, nests of wiring directly against tube lighting and the power cord was held together with black tape...FIRE HAZARDS!!! Talk about putting your family and home at risk. They should be embarrassed. I left three messages and even sent 10 pictures via email and no response. Total rip off! Do not buy from these people. Their disregard for electrical safety may cost you more then getting fleeced for $1800.

I purchased an upright Ms Pacman machine from Home Rec before Christmas last year. They told me that it would ship and arrive before or on Christmas. The game did not ship until after New Years and upon receiving it, it was different from the item description. We made every effort to resolve this with Home Rec vie email, phone call, etc and could not get a response. We finally were forced to issue a chargeback and after doing so still could not get a reply from Home Rec or any effort on their part to resolve having shipped us the wrong item. They then lost the chargeback dispute and then called us threatening to sue and press charges. We filed a BBB complaint which they did not respond to. Dont do business with these guys - theyre just after your money.

Last year, we purchased a classic Galaga machine with 60 other games. While we were there we fell in love with a pinball machine, the Cyclone. Several months later it was refurbished and we had it delivered. We play both machines often and it was a hit with a birthday party we had for a teen over the weekend. The customer service with Home Rec Gameroom and Leisure has been great. We highly recommend shopping there.

Ive cannot explain about this company! Walk in and you feel like family, Im very impressed how the sales rep handle every unique opportunity for each individual customer, for their home needs to complete game rooms, honest honest company. I will be going back for my home supplies when needed.

Great customer service, attentive and knowledgeable. Had my 15 yr old pool table re-felted yesterday. The team aligned and leveled out my table in the process. Looks amazing and classy in a charcoal grey. Highly recommend this store for any game related activity. They have it all!!

So many issues to start with. But to make a long story short. I had to wait an extra week and 2 days to get my pool table because they messed up! If I ever have to move the table again Id go anywhere else before i call them!
