The store itself is fine but good luck getting your prescriptions from the pharmacy if there is any weather issue that might inconvenience the pharmacy manager/pharmacist/owner/whoever it is. I evacuated due to hurricane Irma and am staying in big canoe. If electricity goes out for a little while count on the pharmacist being out of there. That has happened the last two days and we need important prescriptions and cant pick them up because the pharmacist took off even though the store is open. If you have to get an important rx filled I wholeheartedly recommend either taking it to or having it called into the CVS or Walgreens in Dawsonville. Its not that far away and they may in fact actually care about you and your business.

For a small town grocery store this place will surprise you in a good way! The wine selection here is amazing. This is due to the store being located just around the bend from Big Canoe. You dont find many grocery stores carrying $100+ bottles of wine. Their wine prices are not over inflated either. The store continues to stock more organic offerings, angus steaks, Toms Seafood and of course more standard fare as well. Store owner will bring in items for you, just ask.

I like to shop here and do so every week, but the customer service rep on the phone was really rude. I lost my phone recently and called to see if they had found one. She interrupted me and cut me really short, then pretty much hung up before I could give her my name and number so that they could call me if they found it. Whoever was working the front desk right now needs an attitude adjustment!

We loved shopping here at this cute, little grocery store while staying at Big Canoe, GA. It definitely reminds you of a grocery store from when times were a little bit less hectic. They have everything you need to cook any kind of meal, while staying away from home. The attendants, and cashiers are very pleasant, with true Southern Hospitality.

Great little food market for the area. Not too many other choices but my wife and I enjoy going here when we stay at Big Canoe. The staff is always nice and the prices are decent. Not much of an organic selection if youre into that.

IGA is a smaller but well stocked grocery store with better prices on lots of things than the big chain stores. I like the smaller store as its easy to get in and out ,close to my home and a pleasant place.

Somewhat pricey at times but the value for the location makes up for it if you live in Big Canoe (we do). Excellent deli and overall service, but poor organic selection if youre of that persuasion.
