I went in to get my glasses straightened. The lady was very rude because I didnt get my glasses their originally. I explained to her that I had been a customer their when I was a kid till just recently. So I was familiar with their work and needed to get my glasses straight. She said we are not responsible if they brake. I told her what do you think the likelihood of them breaking would be because I dont work with glasses so I wasnt sure. She stated to me "Its Not Like I Would Break Them On Purpose". I said I know I just figured since you are around glasses you would know the Likelihood of them breaking. After I left I could barely see out of the glasses. As if the heat she put on them messed with the prescription. I had to end up going all the way to Atlanta where I got the glasses from to send them off to get replaced because the prescription in them was bubbling up. Total Disaster! They really need to get a new staff. People that actually care and know how to talk to the public.

My family and I have always had good (and cheerful !!) service here. We have gotten at least eight pairs of glasses. Once, a pair of mine was delayed . . . but, it was because of a small flaw they caught, and expedited the replacement lens. I also used their services maybe 25 years ago, with satisfaction !! (Who can you find that has "been in the business" longer than that, where you can just walk in and "git er done?")

They messed up my childs perscription when I became upset and raised my tone they then told me to leave before they come across the counter to whoop my ____. I invites her to join me outside she followed me out followed by another man. At which point my children had become upset so I walked away will no longer be using their services.

I been going to Downtown Optician all my life, and the staff is woundful, so respectful, helpful, and nice, they act just like family. My glasses are always so helpful they never have any mistacks and were cumfortig. Im so glad they are my eye doctor. I can trust them no matter what. :)
