I cannot speak highly enough about this store - the welcoming staff, the clean and comfortable layout, and the incredible selection were all to such a high standard. To my annoyance we have lost our receipt, but the three male staff working on Saturday June 10th should all be properly commended by the manager of this outlet. All three were friendly, professional and great to chat with about books, UK culture, the store and Georgia. As out-of-towners we were so impressed by the selection - the cookbooks area is an amazingly good and broad selection, and the comics choice was huge, plus i found some issues on sale I have wanted for ages. No awful background musak playing, no noisy announcements over the microphones, excellent air con working - we could have spent all day in here. I sincerely hope the boss sees this and recognises the staff in this location for doing an amazing job - i wish this store was here in Manhattan so we could go every day!!!! Thank you again. And as regards the negative post below about magazine subscriptions - anyone who let their daughter use a debit card without making her properly aware of the consequences should probably be blaming the person they see in the mirror, or taking the debit card off her?

Shoppers beware!! The way the folks at this store push the magazine subscription offers as a "free" is very sneaky and confusing. As a young and inexperienced shopper, my daughter armed with her new debit card went shopping for Christmas presents and now in February starts getting reoccurring charges to her account for magazine subscriptions that she didnt know she authorized. This happened because the clerk made it sound as if there was nothing else to do and no charges would be made. She did not sign any agreement but the sale transaction for the books she bought in the store kept her debit card as payment for future charges. I find this very underhanded and deceitful. Needless to say we will not be shopping at books-a-million stores nor online ever!!!

Called to ask if they carry a SERIES of books. The girl said to let her check. Few miniyes later she says they dont have THAT book in store right Now. Ok. I KNOW you didnt look. Its not A book. They are a set. And if sje had looked it up she would have seen that. Wont be going to town to check either. Called a couple more MOM and Pop book stores. Much more helpful and honest. Youre not a person here. Just something to do til its off time.

A great business. I bought a case for my Bible but I found out it was to small. They exchanged it with no questions asked. I was told if the new case was also to small all I had to do is bring the case back along with my Bible and theyd be happy to find the right size or theyll give me a refund and find a place that would have my size. The employees were very nice and willing to help. They kept it very clean and in perfect order.

Best place in Gainesville to go for books, magazines, board games, how tos, nerd supplies, etc. This particular mall has gone bland and bare over the past ten years, losing its theatre, food court, arcade and several great stores but Im so happy to see this one still here. The coffee shop by the mall entrance is also great and it makes the place smell wonderful.

I walked in this afternoon to a display of patriotic something..and Dinald Trump...on a book for sale. Its kind of an oxymoron..trump. Book. Read...soooo itll be a while before Im back. I didnt know he owned you too
