I wanted to get a book and wanted to support a local bookstore. I thought I would just get it from somewhere local and probably have to spend a little bit more money for the book. I saw the size of Acapella Books and thought I may even have to order it and wait. I walk in and ask for the book and the girl working finds it and its used, in like new condition, and its cheaper than I would have gotten it on Amazon or even on my Kindle. I was amazed. The store is small in size but their selection is impressive. The store has a great feel to it and has so many great books. And the best part is that their prices are actually really reasonable! Acapella Books takes away absolutely any excuse anyone would have to not buy their books from a local bookstore.

Very cool book store that has somehow escaped the consolidation of small, independent bookstores. Beautiful relic of Inman Parks low-key past. Hope it stays around forever! Great place to spend an hour just looking at all the interesting books....

Its a kind of small shop without a great selection. Like with every other book store, most of the books can be found cheaper online. Every time I have been in the staff did not seem very eager to help me. Ill just stick with amazon for my book needs.

Fav bookstore intheATL & L5P. They have moved 3 times in the last decade & a half and I have not checked out the neu location yet. It is walking distance from the MARTA station. If I need a neu book or "Art Papers" I go here 1st.

A long time institution in the city. I love to go down on a Saturday morning a browse the shelves for something truly different than I find at one one of the chains. Some are treasures and some are duds but it is the hunt that I love.

Really, if you want to buy serious and/or cool new or used books this is the only option in Atlanta. Literary fiction, poetry, rare books, high quality used books. If you are in Atlanta and love to read this is the go-to place.

This is such an amazing bookstore. I visited yesterday for Chef Vivian Howards book signing event for Deep Run Roots. The staff was friendly and the space is charming. Street parking is available
