Ordered a part on the 18 or 19th was told 3 days fine. So I said fine. But when I come in 4 business days later on the 24`th. I was informed that the part did not get ordered because they did not meet their minimum. So it ill be here in 4 days from now. When I told the man i needed my part now. A regional manage or possibly owner that looked like jimmy carter. Condescendingly smiled and asked (You think you`re the only person thats ever said that?) UPDATE STILL DID NOT GET PART BY THE 5`th I said what about the fact I ordered it last week. (Well son it takes 3 business days.) Well, it has been 4 business days. Apparently they get big for a big freight bill. Furthermore last week you didnt call me to let my know my other part arrived and I have the correct number in the system. Oh we`re switching systems. LISTEN MAAAAAN I dont need to know how your cash cow is getting upgraded and there are issues. YOU HAVE 15 STAFF THAT CAN HANDLE IT ALL START WORKING THEM! I need answers parts and contact I could care less about your upgrades. EVERY time I walk in there there are 4 parts men at the counter and the store is full of staff and they are not busy wasting resources so parts ordering has to suffer.. Always standing around talking Like they have nothing better 2 do. Send one your excessive labor force home early an you will have the additional money to DILIGENTLY order parts. Or tell your STUPID customers its gonna be 10 days to get a part from the beginning.. Also Reginal manager or owner Jimmy carter Looking man. You`re rich so you obviously walk around your store with your nose lifted so high you can;t smell the s*** in the store. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on parts and commercial equipment and you guys need to be whittled down. You do not deserve the business you get. Military #s work force and its a mess like a daycare in there get real. Whittle this Place down. If you need something go ANYWHERE but there. Like the other guy said American chainsaw co. They re a real shop that didnt get too big for their own britches. UPDATE as of the 5`th they still did not have my part.

I purchased a Honda self-propelled several years ago and that experience went well. However, I have never been impressed with their service crew. This past summer was the worst examples of service work performed and almost as bad customer service as my Honda spent more time with them than with me. After 4 costly returns for the same problem and having my mower for weeks at a time, I was offered the use of one of their mowers. If I could break it down, I would give no stars for the repair work and 1 star for service and the service manager. My mower was never repaired to working at the level before the replacement of parts for the self propel mechanism which also effected setting the rear height. On two occasions the mower did not even make it to my SUV to be loaded after a so-called repair. Customer Recovery was very slow in coming and was too little, too late. After two occasions when they kept my mower for very long times, they never forgot to remind me that the warranty was for 30 days, after that nothing was covered. Also, I would not have spent the money repairing a 8+ year old mower that they charged me over 3 different repairs. A inconvenience discount never past their lips. I nor my family will never go to them again for anything.

Dropped off my Stihl weedeater for a tuneup on 7/29/17. Called on 8/3/17 for progress. Was told it would be ready in a couple days and cost $60-$80 as they needed a new filter for the tune up. Picked it up on 8/10/17, the bill was $100 they said they also needed to put on a new carburetor (never contacted me regarding this). The unit ran for 10 minutes today, started smoking and shut down. Would not start again. Took back to Howard Hardware service and was told it now needed a new starter! What a joke. I couldve bought a new unit for less and wouldve if someone had only communicated. Asked for the persons name and was told "Mr. Johnson" (obviously, not his name). Ill NEVER GO BACK AGAIN for anything! Theres a reason Home Depot has put many of these out of business. Total joke!

A REAL Hardware Store! Say no more... but I will... Excellent selection of basic hardware, they even have a wide selection of black-oxide, socket head cap screws, button head screws, and stainless hardware - the stuff that makes my projects look professional. They also have expertise, and can offer more than a goofy look or a SKU look-up when asked a question (you know who Im talking about: "Homer D"). Half the store is dedicated to power equipment and caters to the professional lawn care set - but that has even come in handy for me, when I needed carburetor parts for the lawnmower, or a fuel line for the string trimmer.

I went in to buy two Stilh saws. I asked for help and waited for 20 min. Tech was arguing with a guy about burning up his brand new 362. He said he didnt have the right equipment to fix it right. Id bd pissed too. They told me they had an saws in stock on phone. I drove an hour over there. They just wanted to get me in the store. Said hed order it and Id have to prepay I ended up at American Chainsaws in Tucker. So much better saw shop, both owners were actuelly there. Just wished Howards was honest from the start.

Lazy cashier , just spent $700+ today and when I ask for (1 cent) plastic bag to keep the weed killer away from other stuff she said "I dont have any plastic bags " because the bags was 1 yard away of her. LAZY. After 2 minutes she take one and throw it in the counter with a sad face. Let me tell you something, if you dont like your job, go home or go find something else but dont do that kind of stupidity. I been customer for 20 years and Ill NEVER COME BACK TO THIS STORE.

The service is okay, but Everything single item costs more. Some items; especially the small ones, cost more than three times as much as other places. I am not sure where they are ordering from. But at their prices, they could have went to Home Depot, bought their product at retail price, marked it up 200%, and it would still cost less than what they are chrging currently.

This is a true "hardware store", not a big box "home improvement center". Love it! The selection of hardware and tools is unmatched. Aisle after aisle of loose nuts & bolts, etc. The service cant be beat. Friendly staff wholl walk you right to whatever youre looking for, or just let you browse.

Love Howard Brothers. Been going there since I was a kid. Today though, when I asked if the had the nest thermostat, the gentleman replied Were not THAT high tech around here like yall. lol
