I have shoppe there a few times in the past, but there is not much to offer. The mall features mostly independent businesses, so it does help entrepreneurs to make money but many of the independent stores sell duplicate products with no real variety, mostly urban wear. The few remaining big box chain stores are Macys, payless shoes, lids hats, and the rainbow shop. Macys is the only anchor store left. This mall does feature a DMV location for car tags. The two biggest stores there are Macys and independent retailer Fallas. There is also a huge beauty supply store next to Fallas outside of the mall. The best known restaurant at the mall is Fletchers. I have not eaten there but heard food is good. They offer american cuisine e.g. hot wings, burgers, etc. Its a sport bar & grill. The cafeteria in the mall is generic, not much to offer by well of specialty food. It is mostly fast food, wendys, American deli, etc. The mall usually has a lot of business especially on weekends. I cant say its the worst but I dont shop there as often as other malls and shopping plazas. It is good to see that they reopened the movie there. I have never visited that theatre but it is an improvement for the mall.

This "mall" is some what convenient because there are no other malls in the immediate area. However, this mall is seriously lacking. Its missing most of the usual basic stores that most malls have. The customer service in a lot of the stores is horrible. Especially the womens clothing boutiques. No friendly hello or do you need any help. You just get stares or they just ignore you. The food court is horrible. Theyve closed about 3 or 4 of the good eateries (to include a Chick-fil A, a soul food eatery, and a burger restaurant) and only 3 remain. A Chinese food eatery, Jasons Deli, and a very filthy Dairy Queen. However when you go out into the mall there is a cookie stand and an Annies pretzels.

Nothing about this mall is remotely safe. White people are not welcome here to the point of open hostility and aggression. There are so many leaks in the roof, that there were buckets on every floor tile for as far as I could see. So while trying to avoid slipping on the wet floor, and dodging nasty glares from other patrons and employees alike, I decided it was probably in my best interest to go somewhere else after being approached for money inside the food court. Its a pretty well known fact that "certain" people arent exactly welcomed there. I was naive in thinking things had changed.

I would like to commend South Dekalb Mall for a job well done on the Jordan shoe release yesterday. It was organized very well and the process flowed without any problems. This was my first time going to a shoe release at this mall, I usually go to Lenox but lately their process has become so unmanageable that the manager refused to sell the remainder of the shoes for that day. So KUDOS to all of the staff at Footlocker, Champs, Foot Action, Kids Foot Locker, City Gear, the mall security and Dekalb County Officers who assisted on a job WELL DONE!!!

My daughter and I walked in to use the DMV which is fine as far as they usually go. However, the floors were so dirty, she slipped on the dirty floor. The parking lot was some kind of gang hangout or something. We tried walking the mall with all the other people doing laps right before the stores opened but being the only whites we were told to leave until the stores opened because we didnt possess "a pass". Racist, dirty, unsafe mall. Make sure you lock your car and dont stay inside too long.

My review about the Avon store located in the mall. The woman working there has the nastiest disposition and looks at customers with suspicion like we really want to steal her lil $3.99 lotions. This store should be closed down and replaced with a retailer who has respect for customers. Why should anyone spend money in your store if you are rude? You wouldnt have that attitude if you were in Lenox Mall or Perimeter so dont have it here. Bye. Hope you go out of business.

I call this mall "Greenbriars Sister", and its mainly due to the fact of their size, and they had the same anchors in their day, and both have managed to defy the challenges thrown at them over the years. The mall is nice, but could use some touches inside, but overall I love it, and it has the feel of the neighborhood mall, and thats something you dont find a lot these days. Just the right size, and all the best to one of the best designed malls in Metro Atlanta.

I would not suggest shopping at Chapel Beauty in South DeKalb they are very rude especially back in the wig area! I felt they were being very racist they follow ppl around the store every time! Plus their wigs look good at first but after a week they get nappy every time! Very low quality hair for the prices! But the rest of the stores in South Dekalb I love them all just not Chapel

Outside needs to be maintained and regularly cleaned. Interior needs work. Do away with machine that allows resell of (most likely stolen) cellphones. Music and ambiance do not appeal to mature, responsible consumers. Food court needs better restaurants. Had the Chinese food, but wasnt sure what meat I was eating, definitely not chicken!

Go elsewhere.! The mall is the worse mall i ever been to in Georgia, the traffic in this area is crazy! The beauty supply store management is terrible. You will be followed everywhere inside the store. The movie theater is a joke and any festival they throw in the parking lot is always poorly put togethor. Save yourself the frustration.

Its not even a shell of its former self (and I remember when it was vibrant and bustling back in the 80s, like a real mall). Cheap clothing stores, bare-bones "food" court. The one remaining anchor store (Macys) is closing. Only positives are the DMV and movie theatre. Other than that, this place should be torn down for good.

We just go to Piccadilly from time to time. The mall feels like a flea market. It is not as nice as it used to be. It used to be called South Dekalb Mall the times got hard and a lot of stores closed even the movie theater, but now there is a fairly new theatre at The Gallery at South Dekalb. Things are looking up.

Carrier stores are Macysand Fallas. Fallas is a really large bigbox bargain store. Lots of privately owned mom and pop shops in this mall. Its a small place but you can take care of govt services like Tag and DMV. Theres a good mo ie theatre, and restaurants. Beauty supply, gamestop, rainbow, footlocker, its okay.

This mall is probably one of the oldest malls in miles and it shows. It has a few big name stores, but there are several smaller stores on the inside that are privately owned by locals In the area. Im all for supporting local business but they need to step up their game if they want to become a viable alternative.

This mall has the opportunity to revitalize itself... Its missing anchor stores and other well-known department stores. The only major department store connected to this mall is Macys. Would like to see more stores and restaurants in the near future. I would definitely return to the mall if new stores were added.
