As far as commerce goes malls seem to be a dying breed these days. Obviously the shift into online shopping has been part of the reason for this occurrence. However, I also believe that in many cities the gang/thug/ghetto factor is just as much if not more of the reason that you see huge malls dying. Even with all the changes that the internet has brought us I still believe that deep down most people still want to enjoy all the experiences that a nice indoor mall has to offer. In order to do this customers must feel safe and the shopping environment has to be pleasant. The Mall of Georgia is all of these things. Of course its very large with a nice food court, large movie house and shops that will fit just about anyones taste. Thier are also numerous restaurants located in and around mall. If you enjoy walking you can get into the mall at 8am and enjoy your exercise in a controlled environment. This place is a rare gem indeed! I highly recommend the Mall of Georgia in Buford.

MOG is clean and cozy with many updated fashion stores and foodie spots, which one of my favorite eateries is The Cheesecake Factory. They are still expanding but for the most part, the average expense at this mall is not crazy. Lets just say, it might be hard to find $200 leggings. (Although, they did experiment a little and opened a Von Maur department store.) Overall, the Mall of Georgia is a favorite hangout spot for teenagers and families alike. I notice a lot of older people go early in the morning to pace a few laps through the mall. Sometimes families just bring their little toddlers in bathing suits to splash in the MOG water fountain right outside of the cafeteria. Theres plenty of chairs to lounge about and even cell phone charging stations in case youre still playing Pokemon Go. Live bands perform occasionally also. Probably one of the things missing is an indoor roller coaster, but what do I know, right? (Lol at the mall of America)

Great selection inside this mall, we love it! So many tasty restaurants around the mall area too. Water fountains are great fun in summertime, bring your kids a change of cloths or a bathing suit and sit outside a while with ice cream or a frozen coffee while they play in the fountains! Thats what we like. There is also a small (toddler size) free indoor play area at one end of the mall down by Dicks perfect area for nursing mothers. Features couches facing inward and even a changing station area! There is a marry-go-round in the food court. Two family bathrooms available in the food court area as well. Downside: Buford Mall area in general is very congested and a busy place, especially on any Fri-Sun. Expect to wait for restaurants lunch & dinner times anywhere in this area on weekends. If youre too hungry to wait, food court is huge and has wide variety!

Best mall in GA in my opinion. It has a lot of great brands and great eats. I feel like there is a mixers of those high luxury brands and casual brands in one. Their is a Coach but no LV. But has H&M but no Urban Outfitters. Yet all those deal shops like Old Navy, AF, Macys, Disney Store, Gap, Finish Line, etc~ Food court is big and has your usually selections. If you want a bit more high quality food, there is a Cheesecake Factory by the main lawn. Its really a nice mall and fun area to just walk around. Even the Mall of GA area has so much to eat from Long Horns to Olive Gardens. Just Search Mall of Ga area and you will know what I mean.

Arriving early on weekends is a must for window shoppers otherwise be ready to dodge the wexters (walking texters). Great during the week for us 50 something walkers, plus nice spots throughout to stop and people watch. One candle/essential oil shop has a high amount of fragrance streaming into the surrounding area so asthmatic sufferers be aware. Food court great for the young but as usual most food choices are sodium packed. Consider coming here and enjoying a check of good quality items before online shopping. Nice atmosphere and well maintained.

Yep, its a mall. Lots of shops, restaurants and teenagers with funny hair looking down at the cell phones while walking against traffic. Just about everything you could need to shop for is in this area. All the major stores are located here....except Sears. But nobody really shops there anymore right? The traffic around here is horrendous so dont expect to get anywhere fast on the weekends. My suggestion would be to use the back roads to get here then use the road behind Steak and Shake to get from one end to the other. Stay off hwy 20

Even though it is the largest mall in Georgia, The Mall of Georgia delivers more of a small town feel with public areas which appeal to multiple generations and provide family based activities. This well maintained facility in conjunction surrounding areas that are modestly generic and riddled with a population geared more toward family development the Mall of Georgia doesnt play host to wondering, unattended and mischievous loiterers which many locations now days simply have become accustomed too.

Huge mall with just about everything in it. If its not in the actual mall, then its close by in one of its hundreds of little plazas within a mile of the main site. Traffic is always slightly annoying, esp on the weekend. When you can expect to take a nice hike from your car to the mall due to the shear volume of people the mall attracts. They dont call it "The Mall of Georgia" for nothing. Its nothing short of Humongous.

The security is almost non-existent. I was sitting below food court had just sat down when someone from second level threw something down and landed on my food! I tgrew away $10 of food. This is a hazard they could have thrown something heavy and it hit my head or worse my daughters. Not only that a vendor there said they got their tip money stolen from counter and security never showed up! I wont be visiting anytime soon!

Love, love, love this mall...There is a store for every member of the family and they even offer specialty sizes such as big and tall and petites...The location of this mall combined with mall security continually patrolling the area and using your own common sense make me feel very safe in the area too...Finally, the food court is better than most malls, great selection and atomosphere...

I love shopping here, but it always seems to be crowded with people. If youre into that type of mall then this is certainly the place. They even have a Barnes & Noble here which is nice when Im not looking to shop but just to study. I like going to their Cheesecake Factory here also because Im obsessed with cheesecake and they have a variety of choice when it comes to their entrees.

Great mall. About the only good quality one left since the others are pretty much ghost towns thanks to this place. But its nice to have everything rolled into one. Awesome theatre up on the 3rd floor, any shop youd want pretty much. Stays pretty hot in there most the time and the food court always looks like 5 oclock rush hour but those are the only complaints really.

I had a really great time at The Mall of Georgia. This was my first visit in quite a few years and I enjoyed the music, food and stores. The mall has a great variety of stores and I especially liked the "fandom" stores. Theres plenty to see and buy if youre a bit on the nerdy side (like myself). If youre in the area dont pass this spot up.
