I have lived in Tallahassee for 63 years and shopped at this mall for at least 20 years. Several years ago, just after Gayfers and some other businesses moved out while sitting and waiting for the bus I was approached by several mall security officers and a Tallahassee police officer. One of the security officers had accused me of urinating on outside of the building, I had been shopping at this mall without incident for 20 years and certainly know where the restrooms are located. Im a "Vietnam Veteran" and have run a business in Tallahassee for thirty years and really dont think I deserve this kind of disrespect. Needless to say I have taken my business elsewhere and advise you do the same.

Thriving MTG community between Taras Angels and Gamescape alongside the only theater in town with reclining seats and the Urban Food Market is a wholly unique experience, usurping the former run of the mill food court that once stood there when the location was Tallahassee Mall. A lot of empty space, which I hope Tallahassee entrepreneurs will soon occupy, gives an overwhelming sense of wasted potential. Not being a music person I cant comment on how The reality of the amphitheatre and Music Alley have compared to their concept but a few more businesses filling in the gap would earn The Centre 5 stars.

I lived in Tallahassee in the 1960s and 1970 and would revisit in the 80s & 90s. What was exciting once just became less than appealing or interesting. A new flashier mall on the other side of town delivered the knockout punch. The developers vision and courage has led to the repurposing from a staid boring mall to an exciting peoples center. A great place to be. Can someone please send me a PR kit complete with the latest photos and plans? Send to : James Knauff, 20622 Woodcluster Lane, Houston TX 77073 Thanks

Its growing. Apparently, its been Stated that the Owner Died!! Therefore the Site is in Probate Court! So, additional Work, is not as many, and Information, about its Standing if Construction to finish up the Last areas appears to be at a standstill. Plenty of Sections available for Rental/Leasing. Dance Magnet is up and running, Amphitheater/Ice Rink is kicking its Season, Asian Restaurant is good food, Dreamlands BBQ, is good and Steady. Food Court is also Up and Running! Etc.

The stores that are there are pretty nice but the mall itself is a bit of a head scratcher. They have been renovating for over two and a half years now and other than the concert stage and a few restraunts opening on the outside, there really isnt much to show for all the effort. The main part of the mall is still mostly empty and one would be justified to think that the mall was closed given the foot traffic you see if it werent for the AMC customers vehicles in the parking lot.

This mall is going places! Theres not much in it right now, but when you walk around, you can the beauty and see the potential that this place has. They have a HUGE Burlington, and of course the AMC theater that we love visiting. There is also a Belk at the end, as well as other little stores here and there, such as Bath & Body Works and Victorias Secret. Its a nice place to just walk around in just to get some exercise also.

So the renovations happened and frankly its quite nice but theres no shops indoors or outdoors. Theres a food market which is quite nice but there are just to many empty store fronts to ignore. Also when will the inside get a facelift cause its ugly and begging to fall apart. The goodthing is the buisneses outside do well before concerts and on weeknights. But for real get some more tenents and finnish the renos

Cant figure this place out. The non music events that happen here are strange, underwhelming, and seemingly poorly planned. The only reason we come here is for Barnes and Noble - because they have a nice childrens area. Most of the storefronts are still empty. Theres potential I guess. I also cant help see the glaring opportunity missed by not covering the enormous concert roof with solar panels. Oh well.

Looked like it was being renovated during visit. Signs in the parking lot were confusing as I was unable to find an entrance. However, the outside looks nice and there was an area for live music. After viewing the website, it looks like this would be a great place to shop or just walk around. Will definitely visit next time im in town.

Renovations are looking great! The amphitheater is impressive, as is the new landscaping and roundabouts. Standbys like Barnes & Noble, Bath and Body Works, Burlington, and the AMC are all still open, so its always worth a visit. Progress on the new Arts and Sciences school building is also very exciting!

The place is greatly improving. The mall itself is still pretty dead, except for the movie theater. But the new construction has opened things up for some cool vendors and other stuff to do. Im sure once the construction is finished and everything is in full swing, the whole place will be awesome!

The Centre of Tallahassee has recently underwent a major renovation. As before it suffered from low occupancy, alas it still suffers from the same predicament. I was impressed by the remodeling efforts, it looked really nice. But besides the new additions, its basically a ghost town.

Was afraid it would be hot since its basically an outdoor venue, but the open floor plan & fans kept everything as cool as it can be in Florida in August. :-) Glad it was a covered venue too. Security was top-notch & there were LOTS of bathrooms which is ALWAYS a plus!

The theatre here is especially nice, best in town in my opinion. As for the rest of this area, its still lacking a lot of stores and lacking any reason to come here besides the theatre. If you show up early to the movie, you can waste a good hour if you need to though

Needs to get more stores in there before it can get better. The movie theater is great and I love the Barnes & Noble. Nice and modern, clean on the inside. The parking is spacious but confusing to get around in. Needs more work, but it has such potential.

Kind of Dells empty until you go to the back area, where the outdoor concert area is. It is huge! Weekly shows ex. The Kids Bop group. I think thats what they are called. They sing popular songs and the albums are sold on infomercials.

Places it has are good. However, most shops are empty and they are way behind on construction schedule. Parking is usually good, but watch out for movie crowds. Security for AMC is good, but mall security in general is understaffed.

Great variety of food and well prepared upon ordering. All fresh. ...even freshly ground beef. Margarita Pizza is great at Iolo. Has a dessert stand, a free standing bar and a fine dining restaurant. Variety of seating with wifi.

I understand it has just undergone a renovation and it has a wonderful amphitheatre, but the shops that are currently open isnt attractive. The farmers market is pathetic- only two vendors? The parking is somewhat weird too.
