It depends on what youre looking for. A little bit of history: When I was a kid I used to go to this mall a lot. Those times mustve been between 1996 - 2006. At that time this place was busting with crowds, stores, people and was a great and beautiful place on the inside. Then they introduced the Mall of Georgia and Discover Mills, both of which had one BIG thing this Gwinnett Place mall didnt - a movie theater. Gwinnett Place used to have one nearby (its the creepy abandoned building in front of Frys Electronics) but it was never on the inside away from the elements and conveniently amongst the rows of shops. I have had a lot of fond memories of Gwinnett Place. Memories of laughter, of love... but theyre just memories now. Itd take a real big miracle to turn this place around. TL;DR - Just go to the Sugarloaf Mills. Its not half abandoned and has waaaay more to do in entertainment.

REACTIVENLO PLEASE.......

Nowhere do any signs say they close at 8 and not 9. At 8 everything was a ghost town and ac shut off. Over half the units are vacant anyway. Walk sick kid all the way to upstairs bathroom to have an old man refuse us use of it since the floor was wet. Walk to food court bathroom in hot stuffy mall still with sick kids and as we are peeing a lady appears out of nowhere to yell at us that the bathroom is closed and to get out. She waited to supervise our handwashing like we were criminals. Many other people were coming in as we were leaving, also unaware of their change in hours. After this treatment this malls never getting a cent of my hard-earned money. Im going elsewhere for xmas shopping and anything else.

The Victorias Secret In Gwinett Place is a hot mess. We went there lastnite, and ive been in there a few times before, the store is always a mess. As we were trying to check out lastnite, the guy behind the cash register told us that he couldnt check us out because he was checking out people that had been in line for too long, as another 30 minutes went by, he still wasnt checking anyone out, including people that had been in both lines for a long time. I guess you could say he provided the VS customers with CUSTOMER NO SERVICE. He doesnt need to be working there if all he is going to do is stand there and NOT help people.....needless to say im a very disappointed customer, as were many others lastnite.

This mall has really been hit so hard, last time I went there, so many stores close and so many space vacant. Is really nor worthy of going there (unless you like to go to an almost abandon malls, then be my guest). There were only like 3 open fast food space, and they were hardly busy. The only store that made me go there was Hot Topic, and only because I was looking for a Star Wars backpack. JC Penny and Maycis were close and dont remember if Sears was still on business or not. Honestly, this mall is long go to beyond save and it might be matter of time for getting shut down and demolish. I would prefer go to the SugarMill mall or make the trip to Mall of Georgia or to NorthPoint mall.

Even though Sugarloaf Mills is the more popular mall between the two, Gwinnett Place Mall is not that bad of a mall. Its still got some pretty good stores, e.g., Victorias Secret, Bath and Body Works, Macys . The food court doesnt provide much variety. Its a good Mall to go to if youre just trying to get in and get out fast or if you dont want to be bombarded with a plethora of people. It also has a hair Salon and barber shop. If you were to go to the salon, I personally would not recommend Raven, she was about 30 minutes late to my last hair appointment. Theres also a little MAC set up in the Macys department store.

I go to this mall because of the Macys and Auntie Anne pretzels. Welp, pretzel store has flown the coop! Its just too depressing now to even walk thru the mall and its so deserted that I dont know how theyre managing to have enough money to keep they lights on. Its not ghetto but its running a close second. There are a few vendors but nothing Id be remotely interested in buying. Its clean though. Kind of neat to walk thru the Asian mega mart and now the car dealerships are storing their vehicles in some of the lots. Its on life support and I think that in another 5-10 years it will be condos or a mixed use development.

Social injustice, counterfeit merchandise, declining sales, and overall bad customer relations has ran away Simon Management(the biggest mall management company in america) ,so this mall has been abandoned by most reputable businesses. I can recall an instance where i was sold knock off jordans by sports profile, another instance where i was treated as if i was a thief at macys though i was in the process of buying a $300 watch(granted i received a discount upon filing a complaint but thats because of macy reputation CS was horrendous). Its a reflection of under appreciation of a customers loyalty.

Back in the when I was little this mall was everything but now there is nothing in it , at all. But if want to go to a quiet mall with not to many people this is it . Why I still go here is because of the Avon store thats still in there and The Pink store love those 2 stores and thats the only reason I still come back really . They do now have a couple of salons and barbershops and hat store and shoes and a bath body works, payless , and even Victoria secret. Its nice to walk around with a piece of mind and to exercise i see some people do that as well inside.

ever since the mall of Georgia and discover mills (now sugarloaf mills) were built, ppl flocked over to those malls and this place hasnt been the same. I had the best time going here during my teen years. mostly when the arcade place known as Tilt was still around. Ive visit every once in a while but eventually I come only once or twice a year. its sad to see the mall so empty with the dwindling stores that are still here. its only a matter of time when the mall becomes abandoned or be given a second life somehow.

This mall is completly dead. Im sure sometime in the next 10 years it will be torn down. But for those who want to go to the mall, you have all the shoe stores. Theres clothing stores around for everyone of all backgrounds. Not much of a busy mall, its been around since the cave man but its still holding on...somehow. I went with my family & didnt find anything for myself. My wife found a little Asian store with some good deals but that was it. The kids & i didnt find any really good deals at all.
