Great store, everything is neat and stocked. However, I had visited today but when I had found what I was looking for, I couldnt find anyone to help us. I found 3 employees together, the first one saw me and looked my way and then walked off. Alright :I so I asked if I could get one of them to come help us, the one who didnt seem to be busy, in which he reluctantly followed me and unlocked my item for me. Now this is a rather tall, large kyak I was purchasing and no one offered to carry it for us (me and my mom) or to help us put it in the car. To top it off, right before we left the guy that walked away when he saw me and the other one that unlocked it each gave my mother a card with their names on it (Hayden, Jon) and asked if we could do a survey so that they could get the chance to win a cash prize for their great customer service. Yea thanks guys

5 Stars for price and variety 1 Star for Customer Service •Went in to buy some cleats and had to interrupt an employee from talking to ask if they had a pair that my buddy had just bought. The youth model was in front of me, so I showed him the one and he simply said no they didnt and went back to talking. So I went and looked myself, and found them all the while I was trying them on; him and three other employees stood talking never checked to see if I was ok or not. Customer Service is not what it used to be. I intentionally let the guy know I found what he said they didnt have and left

Too much junk in the aisle you walk in the door but first you got to get by all the kayaks out front its just like a maze out there but you walk through the front door and bang theres junk in your way you have to fight for a buggy to get a buggy out of there then you got to go around all this junk its almost impossible to get your buggy through the front door then once you get inside theres more junk in the aisle way you have to maneuver around these boxes to try to get through the store everywhere you go theres junk in the middle of the Isles please do something about this

After being a regular shopper since this store opened I will be taking my business else ware. I do no not appreciate being followed and watched like a theif. I was followed aisle to aisle by an employee who never spoke but hung around the end of aisles keeping an eye on me. I did frequent the store for the great ammo price but Id rather pay small businesses a couple of bucks more to be treated respectfully. After this and the way they handle there "assualt" style weapons after the orlando incident I will no longer be a returning customer.

Most likely my last time in this store. I paid for my purchase with a debit card. The money was taken from my bank account. Five business days later and the money is not back In my account. Debit cards are returned as credit cards. If I do go back to this store I will pay with cash or check. Also, dont think you will find someone to help you find what you are looking for. It will not happen. Most of the associates hide in the dressing room. I found 5 of them there.

Worst academy I have ever delt with! I was told to contact them for a fireman transfer and had the guns put on hold. The guns had been marked down to a great price but the associate was not aware, I had to have him scan them to get the correct price. I was then told they were put on hold and would be transferred. 4 hours later they are mysteriously gone! Great customer service! Oh yeah, it was my fault, manager told me I wasnt quick enough...

Academy Sports + Outdoors is great place but they need to teach their employees all the regulations because it check out time I had cash vouchers which ended up to about $20 but they was all on five and they tried telling me no you cant use it but whenever the big boss man come over Sao share yes you can so they need to teach their employees the whole rule book and have Downy people come through the line with problems like I had

Very conveniently located off of Barrett Parkway and they have any type of active wear you could want. They also have regular shorts, shorts, shoes all at very good prices. They have their own brand items that beat any competitor. They also have guns and ammo at excellent prices. We always go to Academy before going to Cabelas, Dicks or the other large chains.

One large Isle of ammo, but, its mostly old dusty junk stuff. The prices are crazy on ammo. The gun accessory isle isnt too shabby. A few hard cases, some MagPul stuff. etc. Nice big store. Kind of hard to get in and out of because of Cartersvilles wonderful street layout. Eh.. Never really been impressed with this store - or the one in Hiram.

Academy is really a mixed bag. Its large, but not quite large enough to have much of a tennis selection. Its mostly mid-range rackets with a smattering of tennis supplies. Selection of tennis shoes is lacking. Every so often you can find amazing deals on a pair of shoes. They also have good prices on tennis balls.

Online information shows 2 certain Nike shoe was in the store an the shoes wasnt an isnt even in a store in the state. I believe its best to buy ur products at different named stores. You can find everything at better price an it be at the store locations you will have the products your wanting

This place has everything for your Outdoors needs or Sports needs I went there to get a sun hat had such a huge selection and I wanted up spending 20 minutes just to pick one price was great it was only $11 on sale down from $20 staff was friendly and helpful facility was very clean

Stood at the gun counter for five minutes with three people behind the Counter they never offered to help me.I walk to my car and call the gun department and they wouldnt answer their phone . These people can go to hell I will never be back .

I do WAY TOO MUCH shopping here! This is my all-time favorite store! Very Friendly and super helpful staff! Great prices on things, other outdoor stores such as REI can charge you up to double on the exact same product! Very good store! 100/10

First time I visited because I may be taking up fresh water sport fishing and thought I would check out gear. Surprised how reasonable priced the fishing equipment is and a huge selection. There clothe line is of high quality and very hip.

Terrible staff help in the shoe department had a sales lady helping me trying to find my grandson a pair of shoes and she just walks off and never saw her again instead of helping need to work on your staff to be more considerate.
