When I walked into the store, 5 minutes before my appointment time, my very first thought was that the store smelled strongly of bad body odor. I dont know if its the associates, customers, or just a small store with poor circulation, but they need to work on that. I just wanted to get in and out quickly. Waited 25 minutes after my appointment time to be helped. Dont worry, I had gone nose blind to the stench by the time I was helped. Then was told by the associate helping me that they "werent busy" when I was making small talk, trying to excuse them in my mind for the delay. The associate helping me looked uncomfortable using the iPhone and Mac we were working on. He did multiple clicks and touches on accident. He made me reset my apple ID password when I didnt need it reset. The apple identification security thing sends a text message with a verification code, so he had to move the SIM card to and from my new and old phone multiple times - just making it seem more like he didnt know what he was doing. When my new phone was finally ready to be set up, another associate suggested that I do the reset from backup from my home wireless connection because they had a poor connection that day in store. Im kicking myself now, because without the phone being set up, there was no way to know if my issue was resolved. The associate helping me should have realized this, and not let me leave until my problem was resolved. So I get home, do the reset from backup, and my issue was not resolved. its too late now to go back into an Apple Store because they are all closing in 30 minutes. Ill have to go online to set up another appointment a week out. But I will 100% not be returning to the North Point mall location. Lenox mall has a decent Apple Store, folks, just go there if you need help.

Before today, from past experiences Id have given this store a 10+. Ive driven past other stores to come to This one because they always honest, kind and accommodating. I had an 8:40 appt today. I got a call this morning saying they had a 7:30 cancellation and would I like to have it?! I took it, busted my butt to get here by 7:30. At 7:25 they checked me in, said, "have a seat well be with you in a couple of minutes. 1 woman came and checked in, 2nd woman came up, said she needed rose the Genius Bar but told them she didnt have an appt. He told her to have a seat, someone would be with her shortly. THEN, he turned to me and said "I made a mistake, your appt is still 8:40, youll need to Come back". I inquired why it went from 7:30 to 8:40 and his resolve Mae was......"right now were running pretty much on time". SO EASY to see why the reviews lately have SUCKED. Since I was last here, their customer service has become NON EXISTENT!! The 2-3 minutes I waited, a guy across from me had brought in his laptop, said they told him 15- MAYBE 20 min. Just before I left, they brought home paper and said, "its 7:30 now, bring this back around 8:30 or later and well TRY to have it done. Used to this was typical of other stores, not this one. Sad that its gone to the dogs(sorry, dogs are awesome) shame its gone to pot with NO customer service. Maybe if Id dressed in drag, Id have been "worked in" and someone else been bumped.

Complete waste of a genius bar appointment and drive. I recently bought my new MacBook Pro and was told it would be no problem to have my music and photos transferred from my "vintage" Macbook to the new one. To my surprise the lady that came up to "help" was very underwhelming - she immediately started looking on Amazon for a cheaper external drive for me to purchase to "drag and drop" my music and photos over because my macbook was too old to work properly according to her. Funny a whole host of issues arrived when she "tried" to plug up my computer to verify if they could transfer the items or not. Keep in mind folks its $100 service to do this - after wasting 20 minutes she claimed there was nothing more to do other than buy my hard drive elsewhere. I drove to Best Buy and for $75 and about 30 minutes was able to get everything taken care of. Heres a little tip, dont treat people like they are stupid just because you dont want to waste time finding a solution for someone who scheduled an appointment. I will never return to this Apple store solely because it was clear from the second I pulled out my computer this lady wanted nothing to do with helping me and she unfortunately is a reflection of this store!

I purchased a new iMac 27" on Thursday 07/16/2013 from the Apple Store North Point. Came in around 10:30 am. My wife and I were looking around for at least 10 minutes before somebody asked us if we were assisted. We got dispatched to somebody else. We had to wait for another 10 minutes before the Apple Rep, Chris, came. Chris was far from being a good Customer Service Rep. My request could not have been easier: I would like to purchase a new iMac 27" and take advantage of your current 0% financing offer. You could already tell that I had asked too much! He told me that he did not know anything about the financing offer because that was with Barclay Finance. All he could do was to pull up the page where I could submit my application. In the meantime, my iMac was already next to me. He did not even ask for my ID. Should it not be the least they could do to verify personal information? Anything that I asked seemed to be too much for him. I was not even offered any assistance regarding my purchase. Barely got a thank you... Not at all what I expected from a retail Apple Store. Poor Customer service.

I was recently in the Alpharetta Apple Store with a major repair issue. I was under a tight deadline because I was leaving the country, and needed to take my Mac Book with me, as well as use it for vital departure errands. I was very upset. The store staff was empathetic, patient, and diagnosed my problem thoroughly. The manager, Ashley, was particularly warm, kind, helpful, and informative. While she said she could not guarantee they could meet my timeline, she said they would do their best. The very next morning I received a phone call from the Alpharetta Store saying my computer was ready! I couldnt believe it! I was able to conduct all my business and take my Mac Book with me! Ill never forget this amazing service experience. Just another reason to be a lifelong enthusiast of Apple Products and Support! Thank you to Ashley and to all the other store members! Kudos! Sincerely, Jesse G. Christiansen.

I am over the whole Apple experience. It is a giant pain in the neck having to deal with being "cool" simply to own an overpriced Apple iPhone, or any other Apple product for that matter. I cannot get service at any Apple store without having to wait 30 minutes or longer and this store is the worst of the bunch. They tell you to take a number when you walk in and that is exactly how they treat you...... like a number. The staff here actually believes its a privilege for me to spend my money on Apple products. Now they do not even answer the phone! Really? If they are so busy they should be staffed accordingly. The worst customer service in the business and over priced products! I am just fed up with it. I cant believe I have actually waited in line to purchase Apple products. Never again. No more Apple products for me ever. I feel better already.
