My husband and I purchased a Beautyrest mattress in April and our purchase experience was pleasant and helpful! The first two months sleeping on this mattress was delightful and then I started noticing stiffness and an achy back when I got up each morning and noticing that the mattress no longer had the same firmness and support that it had when we purchased it...mind you this was just over two months. I called our sales lady and she referred me to Ed, the manager! Ed sent someone out to examine the mattress (I believe his name was Doug)! I have never heard anything from the store manager or anyone about the mattress since that time which has now been many weeks. I have called numerous times and left messages for Ed to please call me with NO RESPONSE. I have no respect for a company who does not stand behind the products they sell and do not even have the courtesy to return a phone call. No more business with Famous Tates for us! P.S. I originally gave this ONE STAR because of the issues we had as stated above...within the last few days we were contacted by the new store manager and it seems our situation just happened to fall between the cracks because of one manager retiring and a new manager taking over! The new manager contacted us promptly and gave us excellent attention and service...we are now sleeping comfortably and are very pleased with the response and service provided by our local Winter Haven Famous Tate store...THANK YOU Chris for your quick response and attention to this matter!

My brother and I remodeled our kitchen, and we originally set out to purchase our appliances based on "how much", we spent some time with Gary at the Winter Haven location, and as we shopped we realized that we will not be doing this again in our life time, so lets get as close to high end we could get with out getting dizzy! We picked all Samsung stainless appliances, especially fell in love with the large refrigerator, (new out this year). Gary priced out our choices, and out priced the competition. The delivery was made, and was handled with such care I thought they were handling fine art! We were told at this time that they noted a small scratch on the right door, to which we had to really search to see. The door issue was handled by Gary effectively and promptly. I must say, this buying experience ranks at the top of satisfaction and will be glad to recommend Famous Tate to our family and friends. jack and bill lewin

After Irma, half of Winter Haven was shut down. I own a rental property there, and a power surge blew out the stove one day after the storm. The next day, my tenants got a boil water notice. Lowes could not deliver for two weeks. Famous Tate delivered and hooked up a new stove in one day. Thanks Napoleon, for going the extra mile!
