I absolutely would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! Vesna Stewart, the owner, is the most unprofessional individual I’ve ever met. We took her a wedding gown (that needed very little alterations made) and ordered 3 bridesmaid dresses (with very little alterations to be made as well). When we called to make an appointment, she ensured us that she is ALWAYS there “sometimes till 3am.” WRONG! After driving an hour to see her, she wasn’t there and was on a cruise. Upon our 2nd trip, to which she was there, she told us that our dresses were not finished and that we would have to come back. Her reasoning is that while she was on her cruise, her daughter’s boyfriend cheated on her, and she had to move her daughter. At our 3rd trip, again not by appointment, Vesna’s husband informs us that she’s on her way. He would not tell us what time she would be in. When she’s “always there,” but showed up an hour late and still had not finished the bride’s gown. We stayed for her to finish the bride’s gown and retrieved one of the bridesmaid’s dresses. The 2nd bridesmaid dress was picked up a week later. The 3rd bridesmaid’s dress was a DISASTER! The sides had not been taken in, the shoulder straps had not been fixed correctly (and would have been easily torn completely), and the hem at the bottom of the dress was completely slanted. Vesna had over 5 months to prepare accordingly, and now 2 days before the wedding, we’re scrambling to find someone to fix a bridesmaid dress. Vesna’s lack of professionalism and her careless mistakes are deplorable and inexcusable. PLEASE DO NOT USE HER!

Only rating it a 5 so you can see , I was VERY disappointed with my experience I told her 2 weeks in advance that I needed my dress altered for my moms wedding and the DAY OF the wedding she called and said the dress was ready it was 10:30 when I got there to pick it up and she left talking about I have to go eat ! , that was very unprofessional of her when you called someone to go pick up a dress but your not even going to be there she seen me coming to the door but didnt even bother to let me in when I was already there to pick up the dress she switched the sign on her door from open to close and changed it from 10:00 to 11:00 now she had me waiting 30 whole minutes just to get a dress I was BEEN suppose to have I had a lot more errands to take care of that day and I couldve been doing it instead of driving way to the dress shop when the dress wasnt even ready yet shes just VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and dont waist your time going there if Im going to pay for something that a lot of money I want it to be on time and done correctly!

Absolutely love this place as soon as I walked in the door with no appointment from as soon as I walked in the door she was as nice as can be she made me feel comfortable when I went to go look for my dress she was very helpful and she was very honest I am so happy that I did not waste my time going all the way to Orlando for Davids Bridal I just stumbled upon her when I typed in Winter Haven she is new to the area but I will tell you one thing she is very very good and helpful and she makes you feel special thank you so much for making my experience easy and a wonderful day I even had my two kids and my best friends kid and she was great she knew exactly what to do and how to handle them and she had no problem with them being there and I am so grateful for that because without that I would not have a great they looking for a wonderful dress that she can also make it fit exactly how I wanted to thank you again

The owner is a long time friend and she and her daughter always happily greet me even when I come in a rush needing something to wear that night!!! They have an amazing and diverse assortment of eveningwear for the formal events that we go to at times and I always can choose from several options because there are so many choices and they have all of the accessories to go along with your dress including the jewelry and the shoes, etc. and the great thing is they are right here in Winter Haven so you do not have to drive out of town and deal with heavy traffic and they are conveniently located across from Winter Haven High School!!! The next time you drive by the high school youll easily see their beautifully lighted window with select gowns displayed in it:)

I am a professional wedding photographer and I have known Vesna Stewart for years. I have always recommended all my beautiful brides to her. They have always been wonderfully happy with Vesna and her personal touch and attention to detail. On a more personal note, she is an amazing seamstress. When my now high school age daughter was in elementary school, she needed a dress for a Medieval function. I didnt want it to look like a costume, I wanted an actual period dress. I drew a picture of what I wanted and Vesna made it from what I described. It was amazing! My daughter gets all her special occasion dresses there and they are unique and beautiful. I highly recommend Royal Designs and owner Vesna Stewart. She consistently exceeds my expectations!

Since, Ive found Vesna Stewart at Royal Designs, I will not look anywhere else for a special dress for any event. Vesna cares about her customers and works really hard to make sure you look your best. Her alterations are on point and she is very reasonable. I get so many compliments every time she does something for me because she makes it fit me. Vesna, youre the best at what you do.

Vesna and the rest of the staff is very friendly. I had two visits, two wonderful experiences trying gorgeous dresses. I was not feeling rushed at all, I was able to try many lovely dresses and get pictures of them, the advices I got were very helpful and resulted in lots of smiles. I purchased one ball gown so far, I am definitely coming back for more. Definitely recommended.

I absolutely loved Royal Designs. My daughter is very picky and Mrs. Stewart was so patient with her. We tried on dress after dress and she was so kind and willing to help us. She did all of the alterations perfectly on the dress and my daughter won prom queen. Anyone who is looking for a dress and someone with patience I highly recommend her, she is the greatest!

My best friend had her dress altered here, and they did an AMAZING JOB! They stayed open late to make sure we were able to pick it up on time, and were always very accommodating and sweet throughout the entire experience. Definitely recommended, even if you dont purchase your dress, have it altered here!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter got her Senior prom dress from her and she did an amazing job. She is very sweet and cares about her customers. She altered the dress to the way she wanted it to be. My daughter LOVED her dress. Highly recommended her to anyone that needs any type of alterations or is needing a dress for any occasion.
