Im a very detailed-oriented person who usually prefers to take care of things myself — so that I know theyre done correctly. However, I felt TOTALLY comfortable leaving the ALL the details of my gown to Fyodor and Marina of Fyodor Atelier Bridal! They made my dress PERFECTLY and the whole experience of getting my gown 100% enjoyable. Their attention to detail and warm demeanor will put you at ease ... right away youll know you have two allies when the Big Day approaches! I am SO glad I found them, and highly recommend them to all brides, in Cleveland and everywhere else! Before finding them, I had tried Leonardos, Doras, several shops in Rocky River, Perfect Bride, tons of online sites, Davids Bridal, and Demetrios. I also traveled to Los Angeles and shopped at half a dozen bridal shops there. In fact, almost out of desperation, I nearly bought a gown from Lezu Atelier. (They have gorgeous stuff.) However, I wasnt perfectly happy with that gown or any of the mostly polyester dresses I was trying on at the shops in Cleveland! At one point, I even cried over the issue ... though (in the big scheme of things) I knew I shouldnt be getting that frustrated over whats basically "just" a dress. Then I found Fyodor online. At first I was intimidated, assuming that they might be a bit out of my price range. Im so glad I got over that! While my dress was expensive, the price was perfectly reasonable (and Im a fairly frugal person) and my dress ended up being a BREATHTAKING gown make of breathable, elegant SILK ... the kind that blows a groom away. :) In conclusion: No matter where you live, but especially if you live near Cleveland, go to Fyodor. They will make the dress portion of your sometimes-stressful wedding planning a joy and pleasure ... and they will make you gorgeous!

Truly one of Clevelands best kept secrets. Upon a recommendation from At Last wedding planners, I paid this husband and wife design team a visit. Having had my original dress altered and ruined by a well known wedding store a mere two weeks prior to my wedding date, I was faced with an "off the rack" purchase. The owners of Fyodor Atelier agreed to meet with me after hours to accomodate my schedule. Remember the days of walking into a bridal store and being treated like a princess? A distant memory of retail service long ago? No so at this designers store. The service was amazing - two brilliant designers with professional, yet down to earth, personalities who were paying attention to every desire and concern I had. Having searched four other top bridal shops in the Cleveland area, I was amazed to find dresses more beautiful than I had found thus far. The materials, the craftmanship, the quiet uniqueness of each dress. Amazing. Previously intimidated by the location (La Place in Beachwood, Ohio) and the exclusive "by appointment only" nature of this shop, I found myself in shock when I realized that the cost of having one of these sophisticated gowns tailor made for me was lower than the majority of the designer dresses I had seen. My dress was made to perfection within two weeks. It was by far the most spectacular service and craftsmanship that I have experienced in a long, long time. To top off this wonderful experience, my daughter was, with the designers help, able to create the dress of her dreams, made from the finest silk imaginable - again, for less than the cost of the dress originally selected from another local bridal shop. The final bonus? This talented couple designs cocktail dresses and other clothing. I will, without a doubt, be visiting them again.

I simply cant think of anything to say that would give credit deserved to both Marina and Fyodor. I had a "short" engagement in terms of getting a dress, and after spending a full day at typical bridal shops, I learned that 5 months was just not enough time to get a dress from a bridal store (since they are all basically made and shipped in from China and India). The woman at the Bridal store I found a dress I liked at said that it was normal for the dresses to take 6 months to arrive. I was devastated. I was left in tears, with the thought that I was going to have to travel to New York or somewhere I could actually find a dress in this amount of time. Three days of tears later, I received a call from my mom who found Fyodor Atelier online- we figured we would give it a shot. UNBELIEVABLE. They not only had no problem making me a dress in time, they created my dream dress- a dress that I never would have been able to wear otherwise. The entire process with them was just wonderful. They are so sweet, honest, and talented. I can not recommend them enough. They took something that was becoming the biggest headache of my wedding planning, and turned it into one of my favorite aspects of the entire planning process. The dress was exactly how I could have wanted it, it fit me like a glove, I truly felt the best I have ever felt at my wedding, and people were just in love with the gown. (I even received a facebook message from a girl I dont know from out of state inquiring about the dress from pictures she saw). I cant believe that I didnt know they were located right around the corner from me, whoever commented that they are the best kept secret in Cleveland is absolutely correct. Thank you both!

Fyodor and marina were a life savor when I came running to them with ideas for my wedding gown that could not be found in any bridal store . I showed them pictures upon pictures of what I wanted my dress to look like and although some of the ideas were unrealistic , and the models wearing these dresses were size -0, Fyodor and Marina strategized ways to get the same look for my body type and encouraged me to look at other options because I am not a size 0 like these models . It was a long process because I am very very picky , but they listened to every idea I had and either agreed that it would work, or they would steer me away from the idea with their years of experience and problems they have faced in the past . I trusted them because I have seen the beautiful masterpieces that they create every day, with the most beautiful materials I have ever seen. My dress turned out to be exactly what I envisioned, so beautiful but also so light and comfortable. I couldnt live without the "plunging deep V " but with double D breasts , and no way to hold them up without a bra, I started to get discouraged that I would not be able to wear this kind of dress . Marina had a brilliant idea to sew lace onto my bra in the same pattern as my dress and it was perfect . They were very kind, caring, knowledgeable, and understanding through the whole process. I really enjoyed every meeting that we had throughout the dressmaking process and talking not only about the dress, but life in general. In fact this was the only part of the wedding planning that I really enjoyed! I will always recommend the very talented marina and fyodor at fyodor atelier after the wonderful experience I had with them.
