They have my favorite wedding dresses. I prefer them over every other designer Ive seen so far. However, as far as the store... the sales associates were very terse with me and when I tried to make an appointment to see the bridal consultant, I suggested a time that worked for me: 12 oclock. They told me, "how about 2? 2 will work for you!" I explained, "no, I live out of town and wont make it back in time for my meeting." They insisted, "oh, of course you will! Youll be fine! Well just make your appointment for 2!" Even though they had no idea where I lived and that I was more than 3 hours out of town. When I finally fought with the woman so much that she had to back down, I told her Id step outside, make a phone call, and then let them know when I ACTUALLY could make an appointment. She quickly said, "ok, here is our card, well see you later... goodbye now!" And pushed me out of the door in the middle of my sentence. When I came back, she kept talking over me, telling me what I should do, rather than listen to me try to explain my needs. The other woman in the store at the time kept making nasty glances at me when I gave her my information or asking judgmental questions like, "really?" Or, "are you serious?" Even questioning the date of my wedding as being absurd! I dont think thats really any of her business! I just thought everyone there was pushy, nasty, and full of themselves. Horrible, horrible customer service!

ASK FOR JANAI !!!!!!!! (JANAE) I went to this bridal shop for two appointments first for my bridesmaids and then for me . the appointments were back to back. I walked in and was greeted warmly . I then was given a consultant whom immediately started asking what I wanted and what my budget was and showing me different options for my brides maids. she was FANTASTIC to say the least all my girls were able to find something they liked in their budgets . then it was time for my appointment and I love my consultant so much so I asked if she would also do my appointment. she agreed and proceeded to help with my dress shopping again all the right questions were asked and all my ideas and opinions were taken with care. she ended up pulling all kinds of options for me which I loved all of them she really knew what would look good on my body ! towards the end I was loving a dress but my grandmother and her found another that had all of the details I had originally asked for and in my price range and low and behold I found my perfect dress . I just want to make it known how wonderful this employee is and was to me and my large party . I would recommend her any day any time . she made dress shopping fun and stress-free for all of us ! thank you so so so so so much Janai ! if you plan on looking for a dress ask for her she is the best !!!!!

I selected Alfred Angelo dresses for my bridesmaids & due to being laid off I had to ask my girls to pay for their own dresses. Three out of four got their dresses at the Altamonte Springs, FL location and did not have any problems. However, my fourth bridesmaid ordered her dress at the Jacksonville location (because thats where her husband was stationed in the navy) and got terrible service and treatement. The first two dresses were damaged and the third one did not get shipped to her until today...two and a half weeks after the wedding!!! I was one upset bride and I hate that she went through all of that and didnt get to be in the wedding party and still got stuck paying for the dress. There is a lot more to what happened (that is even more appalling) and she has reported them to the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General. I have a few engaged friends and I just cannot recommend Alfred Angelo as a company to them, even though it was the Jacksonville location that does not know what they are doing and did not respect my bridesmaids time, money or my wedding. The dresses (when not damaged) are beautiful but it just was not worth what they put her through. The employees at this location should be ashamed of themselves.

I first went to Alfred Angelo for my friends wedding. She found her dress there and all of our bridesmaids dresses as well. All were very reasonably priced. It had a better atmosphere than any other bridal store Ive been in. The thing that stood out to all of us there was that the staff was WONDERFUL! They were attentive, even when they were busy; knowledgeable; made us feel like they were really enjoying helping us try on every single dress there was; and were just the kind of service that you never get these days! I have since gone back with other bridesmaids for their fitting, and it wasnt a fluke, the staff was so kind and gracious. They really went the extra mile to help me find a dress that fit for a different wedding (the other bridal store didnt have any sizes i could try on, and they were so kind and cheerful to help me with that too). I will always go there first, and suggest to all my friends that they do the same, for all wedding attire needs!

They had most of what I had chosen as my favorites from their website in-store. The girl helping me was very nice but not very helpful. She wouldnt give any suggestions based on my feedback as I was trying on the dresses and only brought me the ones from my favorites. As my first wedding dress shopping experience I was really hoping for someone who would react to my feedback and make suggestions, as opposed to just saying "mm-hmm" when I said I liked or disliked something. After all, I am no expert at what dresses will look good on me. Maybe they just didnt have anything else with the features I was looking for? Also, all of the sample sizes were much, much too large for me and I had no way to see how the dress would really look in my size, they also did not have the dresses to view in different color options, nor did they have pictures of the various colors. Overall it was a so-so experience and took the magic out of my first day dress shopping.

After searching high and low for an elegant, plus-size bridal gown, I traveled several hours to Jacksonville to the Alfred Angelo shop because I had heard their selection was pretty extensive for plus-size brides (a RARITY!) Alfred Angelo did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and attentive, sensitive to my body-conscious search for a dress, and VERY knowledgeable about each of the gowns. I tried on dozens of dresses, all well-made and beautiful, until I tried on THE ONE!!! Alfred Angelo had plenty of in-stock plus-size samples to try on as well! Unlike many other bridal shops, the plus-size selection wasnt at ALL matronly or just larger versions of the regular collection. Many of the Alfred Angelo dresses were proportioned just for the larger lady! It was wonderful! Overall, an excellent experience! I cannot recommend this store enough!

Great store to shop at! They had the exact dresses I wanted to try on in stock (in multiple colors and sizes) and I found my gown after just one visit! The staff is friendly and very helpful, and I highly recommend getting your alterations done with them as well! My dress had to be taken down 2 full sizes and Stella, the alterations lady, did an absolutely fantastic job! The dress fits my body perfectly and you cant even tell it was 2 sizes bigger when I first got it! So very happy with my Alfred Angelo experience and I cant wait to wear my gorgeous gown on my big day!
