This is my first time leaving a review online about a local business, but the terrible service and poor attitude of the staff compelled me to take the time to warn future potential customers about Triage Consignment Shop. I had a surplus of extra womens business clothing; name brands such as Gap and Ann Taylor. Before I wasted any time driving out of my way to the shop, I placed a call to be sure they wanted to buy my clothing. The woman I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and informed me of what they were and were not interested in. She instructed me to put all the clothes on hangers and not to bring anything that was in poor condition. After my phone conversation I took the time to put 75% of my previously folded clothes on hangers and then proceeded to drive 15 miles to Triage. (I ran out of extra hangers for the remaining clothing). Upon arriving at the consignment shop I was greeted by a woman with a short bob haircut (appeared to be in a management position) who immediately made it apparent that she had a chip on her shoulder. Instead of asking me how she could help or what she could do for me, she simply told me we dont need any of that. They are too wrinkly from being folded and we dont take any of those brands. I informed her that I had already spoken with someone from her store that knew the clothes were previously folded and knew what brands I was bringing in. With even more attitude she told me sorry, but you must have spoken to the new girl. She refused to look at a single piece of clothing I had, even though some garments were new with tags. The women was condescending & outright rude. Save yourself trouble and take your business elsewhere.

I would not recommend doing business here. I have had decent experiences when shopping-- I find the prices are a little high for used furniture and clothing BUT they do have good taste so I usually find their merchandise appealing. However, I tried to sell a sofa and a loveseat there and my experience was not good. I went on the 23rd of March to shop around and look for other items, this was about 2 or 3 months after I had dropped the furniture off. I could not find the loveseat in the showroom so I figured it had sold. When I called to check on the status of my check from them selling the loveseat (they asked me to wait until after April 5th, so I did, and I called on April 9th) they said they sold it on March 29th and since that is so close to the end of the month, I will have to wait until the next month to get my check. When I said I was in there on the 23rd and I didnt see it, she said "Oh, I looked at the date wrong" and then told me they sold it on March 27th. Obviously, those dates still dont add up. I dont mind waiting for the money, but I dont like being lied to. All in all, they are bogus. They make you wait for your money, they lie to you and they have an attitude about the whole process. You are better off selling your stuff on Craigs List.

Well, I was considering consigning here, but had such a terrible time consigning with other shops, places close down, rude staff, the vast majority of things left with them dont sell, and go missing, etc. So I was skeptical. What really made me decide NOT to consign here and flat out give up, well a little of my previous experience, but mostly, that in 7 phone calls to the store and talking with different employees, the basic question of do I need an appointment to consign there could seemingly not be answered. Perhaps I was too blunt in asking the question right out, but to be honest I dont know the code word to get this question answered.

I buy and sell items at Triage every month. Have not found any other consignment store that is as fair in price, offers great quality clothes and furniture (granted, you may often find items of less quality as well, depending on any random day---but I havent found that often). Staff are flexible, courteous, willing to support you on a particular hunt--rather than saying "I dont know...we might have that, just look around" which Ive heard in many other consignment shops. Also, if you are looking for a formal---you are in terrific luck. Great selection in size and style at so reasonable prices. Triage is definitely a 5 star for me!

My first visit was on a Saturday at 3:50pm. I waited till the last minute to find a fancy dress but I didnt have a "fancy budget". I had no idea they closed so early on Saturdays and I asked the man at the desk if he would stay a few minutes later. He kindly said yes, so I rushed to find a formal dress, it didnt take to long (there are many beautiful items in the store). Ive been here 3x, since to find that ALL the staff members I have encountered are very considerate and friendly. Cheers to the owners and management team you have a customer for life! THANK YOU TRIAGE TEAM!

Triage Consignment Showcase has been around for over 33 years. The owners have dedicated themselves to this business and they work long hours and try to please all of their over 20,000 consignors and a customer base that expands by the ten thousands throughout the Central Coast of Florida. The inventory changes dramatically from day to day and its always fun to go see what arrived this week. I love shopping at Triage! I get the very most for my money at Triage Consignment Showcase!

I want to take time out of my day to say how much I LOVE TRIAGE. Everyone is so helpful, and they make you feel like family every time you are in there. It is a mom and pop shop and everyone greets you and makes you feel welcome. They dont hound you as you are shopping and make the buying and selling experience super easy. The quality is always spot on, and the store is always well maintained. Do yourself a favor.... DO NOT BUY NEW. Check out Triage. You will not be disappointed.

Love this place. Large consignment store split between clothes and furniture with some jewelry as well. I can only speak to the furniture side which is extremely well stocked and huge. I can spend hours checking things out. Plus lots of movement so what you see this week is different than last week. Most importantly, the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for pre-owned furniture, this is a must see.
