I made an appointment back in January to try on bridal gowns with an email confirmation of Saturday at noon. One or two days before my appointment, I received a reminder text message about my appointment at 5:00pm. I called saying I did not request that time and they verified they made a mistake and that my appointment was supposed to be at noon. However, since they scheduled someone else to go at noon, I lost my time slot and had to reschedule as I couldnt make the 5pm. Since they were so nice about them making a mistake, I rescheduled for February. Now my wedding is in July and Ive only been engaged since December. I know that means I was cutting is close for dress ordering but I did not have any issue doing a rush order or purchasing off rack if necessary. I told them the date of my wedding and I wrote it down on the new client form before my February appointment. The sales associate didnt mention anything about my date so I figured everything was alright. I had been to a couple other appointments earlier that day at White Closet, the Dressing Room, Ivory and Lace, and CCs Bridal Boutique which had delivery for first week of June, so I assumed the same for this place. I tried on many beautiful dresses and my mother and I really like one and were considering it for order. Upon walking out the sales associate then told us the dresses were coming July 20th (my wedding date is July 16th). Rush order was not even mentioned let alone offered. I didnt understand why she even considered me as a client or had me try on dresses knowing that I wouldnt be able to get a dress in time from her store. It was a complete waste and it made me even more upset that I bothered to reschedule with them after the mishap in January. Maybe if they wouldnt have screwed up my January appointment, I would have been able to find a dress and been able to rush order it in time. I found it unprofessional that they did not take my wedding date (which I provided them multiple times) into account before I tried on dresses. I would have understood from the beginning if they told me is was too late to make an appointment with them because I was past their ordering date. Very frustrating experience. The associate responded by saying "sorry about that". I would like to reply to the owners response by saying that I did not visit Davids Bridal at all. This boutiques I did visit are listed above. I would also like to say again that I did not decline the rush order offer because there wasnt one given. Rush order wasnt even mentioned by the sales associate and it wouldnt have been a problem if thats what I needed to do.

I had the best experience at The White Magnolia in Hyde Park. I had been shopping for “the dress” for a few months; I went to numerous stores and probably tried on 90+ dresses. I was beyond frustrated and almost cancelled by appointment but for some reason I just decided to go (plus what’s a few more dresses at this point). Working with Ashley, the store manager, was an incredible experience. From the minute I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. She took the time to sit down and ask me a few questions about what I was looking for or wasn’t looking for in a dress. She could immediately tell I was beyond frustrated at this point. Ashley helped me the whole time during my appointment, and she was AMAZING! She gave me positive advice and suggestions while I was trying on dresses, made me feel comfortable and she was so much fun to be around (which was such a nice change of pace compared to all the other place I had been) At one point I remember looking over at her and asking if she picked this dress out for me to try on, and she did! Every dress she suggested I liked but I like the next one a little bit more. I FINALLY was able to “YES TO THE DRESS” and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I felt like she was just as excited and in the moment as my mom and I were. She immediately went to the back and popped a bottle of Champagne for my mom and I to celebrate while she did some paper work. Our appointment ended up going way over what we were scheduled for but Ashley didn’t mind. She wasn’t pushy, didn’t make me feel rushed for time or into a decision. For any brides looking for the ultimate dress experience I would recommend making TWM your first (and hopefully only) stop. The entire store is yours for the appointment, there were no pushy sales gimmicks just beautiful gowns, an adorable atmosphere. :)

First of all, I am not one that normally writes reviews and am often take reviews with a grain of salt. However, truly fantastic businesses are rare, so I felt the need to share with others :) I highly recommend this boutique! One of the most important milestones as a bride is picking out your dress and along with that comes the experience. From the moment I stepped into The White Magnolia, they truly made me feel like a bride. The manager, Ashley, was hands down the best (out of 10 shops I visited!) She is so sweet, helpful , knowledgeable and there was zero pressure to buy. It is located in the cutest shopping district in south Tampa and the store itself is adorable- very chic and comfortable. My wedding party sipped champagne on cute white chairs as I tried on my dresses for them :) Because of the location, I was initially concerned about price but I found a wide range and price was very comparable to other boutiques. They also only take one appointment at a time to give the bride individualized attention and privacy. Most boutiques do not allow you to walk around and pick out the dresses yourself. TWM allows you and your party to pick your faves right off the rack. Then, if you wish , Ashley will pick other dresses that she thinks you might like as well. I also found them to have the best selection of all boutiques. I found several dresses in multiple styles that I loved. This was not the case at other small (or even large) places I visited. Cant say enough positive things about my experience! I am happy to say I found my dream dress here :)

When looking for my wedding gown, The White Magnolia was the first bridal boutique I went to - and the last! I went into my visit not knowing what type of dress I wanted, but with the store manager, Ashley, by my side, I quickly found my dream gown. Ashley listened to everything I said and answered all my questions with patience and grace. At one point, I was actually torn between two gowns and it was Ashleys attention to detail that led her to suggesting a new gown that ended up being "the one"; a gown that was a perfect mix of the two I was torn between. Another thing I appreciated about Ashley was her mindfulness of my budget. She kindly kept me on track when I got a wandering eye, and even pointed out gowns that were on sale in my preferred style. The boutique is neat, extremely clean and intimate. Perhaps one of my favorite parts of the TWM is the fact that it only offers a select number of gowns; this was perfect for me because I tend to get overwhelmed when there are too many options. It was the perfect setting for having some of my closest family members and friends with me to share such a special moment in my life. And the fact that everyone receives a personalized one-on-one appointment makes the experience that much more special. I wholeheartedly recommend TWM to any bride who is looking for a special, one-of-a-kind dress experience - one that will create memories for both you and your guests forever! And dont forget to request Ashley! Shes the best :-)
