I would give this place a 0 if at all possible, which really upsets me because I hate leaving bad reviews. Let me share my experience with you so that you dont end up with an ill-fitting dress like I did. First of all, I bought my dress from here. At first I loved the place and the friendly staff. The girl who helped me urged me to pay the extra $100 for my dress to be custom made to my measurements. She promised me this would help save on alterations and the dress would fit much better than traditional altering. I trusted her. Flash forward several months and my dress arrived. It fit like a glove! I was moving out of state so that made me very happy. However, my consultant told me minor alterations still needed to be done BUT promised she could do it in 2 visits since we had it custom made to my body. WRONG!. The dress wasnt done in 2 visits and the final product was a mess. I spent $415 on alterations after the $100 for the custom dress I had already spent and it looked like a piece of garbage. They took the entire waist up, but failed to take the waist back in which made the dress bulky. The worst part is that they only refunded me $60 because they said "thats the price to take the hips back in at a typical salon." Why did you change the shape to begin with when it was a perfect fit??!!! Obviously to make money. Anyways, my mother in law to-be had to take 3 inches in at the hips 4 days before the wedding with her sewing machine. She also took the waist in another inch. This helped but the dress wrinkled and crinkled and was definitely not what I envisioned. To be clear, I was 115 pounds the day I walked into the salon to pick out dresses. I weighed 114 pounds the day of my wedding. This was an epic fail on the salon, as I didnt change dress sizes and my measurements were the same. Please save yourself the grief that I didnt. I was completely ripped off. The dress should have only been hemmed, as the shape was amazing before the dress was altered (after the $100 spent for custom measurements). What a waist of money.

Everything about my experience at Maggi Bridal was perfect! This is the only business I have ever been to that has taken the time to get to know who you are and try to incorporate this into their product or service provided. I feel grateful that I found Maggi Bridal and had such a wonderful experience selecting my wedding dress, as I have read that many other bridal boutiques can make this special wedding activity a negative and horrific one. On my first day at the salon, Amy sat down with my mom, my sister and myself to learn about me, my fiance, my interests, and my dreams about my wedding. She then helped me embody all of this into my dress selections. We walked around the store and selected dresses, including ones I was immediately drawn to and some that I never thought I would like on myself. Go figure, the dress I ended up falling in love with was one that I never thought would look good on me! Not only did Amy make me feel comfortable and beautiful, but she looked for dresses or accessories she thought fit my attributes and personality. Amy never pushed a sale and stayed conscious to budget. We ended up spending less on my dress than what was budgeted for it (staying under the $2000 budget without alterations), which is always a nice bonus! She openly suggested trying on different dresses at different shops if I was not in love with the dresses I had tried on. She was up-to-date on trends, fabrics, and styles, not to mention had copious amounts of knowledge on fashion and design. I honestly dont know how anyone could ever have a negative experience at Maggi Bridal! The staff is personable, super sweet and professional. I highly suggest this shop to all brides who want a positive and relaxing experience in finding their perfect dress!

This was the best experience you could ever have as a bride! I went to Davids Bridal first and thought I found the dress I wanted, but wanted to be sure so I also went to Maggi Bridal. It was a one on one appointment and they catered to everything I wanted. They helped you get into your dress, you stand on a small podium with mirrors all around you. There is a couch for family to sit at. I had 5 people with me, which is quite a bit of people, but they were so accomodating to everyone. My bridesmaids came down from boston, so they ended up staying open late so I could have an appointment. Amy and Laura were so sweet and helpful. This place was amazing because you got the bridal boutique experience, but the prices were so reasonable. I had found a dress at Davids Bridal for 799 that I thought I was going to buy. When I tried on an Alfred Angelo dress at Maggi I fell IN LOVE with it. It was a designer dress for only 550!! They also have a storage place that is temperature controlled that you can keep you dress in for 45 dollars until your wedding day! I honestly could not have asked for more from Maggi Bridal and was so glad that I went! This is an experience every bride should have. I felt like I was on Say Yes to the Dress, but with dresses that fit into my budget. It is a place every bride must experience.

Our appointment was in February 2015, and the staff at Maggi were quite rude to my group when we came to visit (some of us even drove as far from State College and Philadelphia, PA). The older woman, who I assume is the manager, never even offered us water when we arrived, and then gave me a hard time when I asked for water for our group (we were there for more than 2 hours and the air was very dry in their store). We wanted to try on bridal gowns as well as bridesmaid dresses, and the level of service between the 2 fittings was night and day. They helped the bride with her dresses, pinning, etc. and the bridesmaids were thrown in 1 dressing room together (with no mirror) and forced to do everything ourselves. I should note that our associate, Amy, was very nice and treated us well. I also overheard 2 of the employees (1 of which was the older woman again) talking badly about our group, even pointing in our direction and snickering. They were so unprofessional. I just called there and the lady was sweet as pie. What a stark difference between in person and on the phone... so disappointing.

Maggi Bridal is truly the best bridal salon in the Raleigh area. I went to a few others, but am so glad that I found the dress I loved at Maggi. On the day of my initial appointment, I was treated like the most important person in the store. The consultant who helped me discussed what I liked and disliked. She let me look around and pick some to try on, and then she picked some of her choices for me. I ended up falling in love with a beautiful Justin Alexander gown that they had just put on the floor that morning - talk about fate! But where Maggi really shines is in their alterations service. Amy and the team made sure my dress fit perfectly. When my final fitting revealed a few problems, they vowed to fix them and made sure that I could come in and try the dress on one more time before the wedding to be absolutely sure. Even though that might be panic-inducing for many brides, I knew Amy and the whole team at Maggi would make it perfect. The customer service (as well as the reasonably priced selection of amazing dresses) truly makes Maggi Bridal an amazing salon.
