I originally went here with my daughter to get a pagent dress. We had Doni as a consultant and she was great. We found a dress we loved but didnt buy it right away since it was so expensive. They told me the could discount it since they had had it so long. A few weeks later I decided to buy the dress. They were just as helpful and genuine when I went to pick it up. Since I had such a good experience the first time I decided to go there to look for my wedding which is June 9th. I again got Doni and again she was wonderful. I am bigger and my wedding was only a few months away so finding a dress was not going to be easy. She was patient with me and quite helpful. I found a dress I loved. It was a bridesmaid dress but it could be ordered in white. When I made the order they said they could rush cut it for xtra. I wanted to make sure it would be here on time so I paid for the rush cut. I also made an appt for my alterations for what I thought was going to be a week or so after the dress was to come in. I called just to check if my dress was in a few weeks before the appt. Elli answered the phone and was sweet when she told me she would check. When the woman came back on the phone she was very rude and condensending telling me that my dress wasnt due in until the end of May!!! I panicked a little and asked what I was going to do if it didnt come in til then, what about the alterations? She actually said to me that she wasnt in China making the dress and they would get it to them when they could. I couldnt believe it. I hung up stunned that they were just so flippant about the whole thing not having any concern whether or not it showed up at all. I called back to complain to a manager about how I was spoken to only to find out it WAS the manager that had said that to me. I havent gotten my dress and I can only hope it comes in on time. Only time will tell. But this will definitely be the last dress I buy from them. I have a 14 yr old going into highschool. That will be 4 years of homecoming and 2 yrs of prom that they will miss out on.

I have been into Perfect Weddings several times over the years to look at prom dresses and to look for wedding dresses as well, I always think that every time I go in that it will be different, but it never is. The older women that work there are extremely rude and pushy with the sales. They wont let you just browse through the store and get ideas. They have no problem telling you, that you are too fat for a dress no matter if you love it or not. It makes finding the perfect dress become very frustrating. The dresses are not that good of quality, and if you dont plan on buying that day good luck getting some help. Oh, and if you do find a dress you like, they will offer you a one time $100.00 off if you buy that day, and wont offer it again even if you come in the next day. Dont give them too much personal information because they will harass you the closer it gets too your wedding date too purchase from them. I know this is the only bridal shop in Lancaster but please dont ruin your buying experience by going into this poor excuse for a bridal store. The only time I found the shop to be enjoyable was when I worked with a gal named Liz (If i remember right). A petite, thin lady probably in her late 20s with short dark brown hair, very pretty.. I would consider going back in if I ONLY spoke with her. Shes exceptional and should work at kleinfields. There are many other store owners that would love too make your shopping experience phenomenal, and it is worth a drive. Make a day of it! Happy Hunting!

I went here with my Matron of Honor today and dealt with Carmen. I told her when we walked in the door we were there to look at bridesmaid dresses, however this lady wasnt paying attention at all as she started walking us back towards Bridal gowns. After correcting her, and asking to see Mori Lee bridesmaid dresses, she walked us to a section of dresses that were obviously not the designer I asked about. This lady seemed very out of it the entire time! I actually asked my MOH if she seemed high?!? I asked the sales lady "if I give you a style number can you tell me if you have the dress," I then proceeded to repeat the style number 3 times before she finally comprehended. THEN we were walked to a different area of the store where Mori Lee dresses were (finally). To my surprise, this lady didnt even have the style numbers correct as she kept telling me I was wrong as I pulled the style number I originally asked about. Fast forward to being told that I couldnt help my MOH in the fitting room, either she had to get dressed herself, or this random sales lady was the only one allowed to help her. While trying on dresses, I asked about getting measurements taken so we knew what size to order. I was told unless I ordered the dress there, measurements would cost $25. Moral of the story is you will get much more competent and friendly service probably ANYWHERE other than this place. I will gladly be sending my bridesmaid elsewhere for their dresses!

I stopped in a few months back without an appointment to look for a bridal gown. All my family is out of state so I was alone. Everyone was very helpful and no complaints that I didnt have an appointment on a Saturday of all days. My ceremony is family only and low key so I wasnt looking for a ball gown, but I had no budget either. I was not pressured to spend thousands or even shown more expensive gowns. They showed me simple gowns and listened to what I was looking for. Only strange occurrence was my consultant changed about 4 times during my appointment, but I didnt have an appointment so I wouldnt say that was a negative. I went in 3 days later to purchase my dress and I bough the sample as it was a perfect fit. After I paid, I was asked where I would get my alterations. I was not aware that the zipper needed work, and the back clasps needed replaced. I wasnt offered the alterations package prior to purchasing, but this was a blessing in disguise because I feel I would have paid a lot more. Got my alterations done locally and spent $30.

The first day I visited Perfect Weddings Carmen was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She included my MOH and mother in picking the dresses, but then focused on what I wanted when picking the one. After that visit my experience went downhill. Ellen did not listen to my concerns and was very pushy about how things should be done. She did not include my MOH in the alterations visit at all and actually asked her multiple times to sit down-- after we had just driven 2.5 hours to get there. I reluctantly left my dress to get hemmed and altered. When I returned to pick up the dress Ellen was my consultant again. She asked me if I was expecting when she saw me in my dress.... completely humiliating. I am now paying again to have the bodice redone so that it fits properly and all of my concerns are addressed.
