Went to store to get a new front loading Kenmore washing machine to replace my existing washer which has a strong mold odor. (even after several tablet uses) I was hesitant to buy another Kenmore washer since I have been having problems with the one I already have but it would be very costly to replace dryer and pedestals too. I went to store and found one on floor for $499 but the sales person said it was the only model and he would have to ask manager if I could buy it. The manager was off so I gave him my phone number to call me. The next day he called and left a message saying he and manager were not working same days so I could call store or come back in. The next day I came in and met a new man who also said he would have to ask his manager but he wasnt there. The next day (my third visit) I went back in thinking Im just going to ask to buy it. Upon my arrival the same man was helping a man and said it would be a minute. I went looking around the store and came back 30 minutes later (hes still helping them) They arent buying a appliance but looking for a part. ok, might take time. I go back out to look around for another 30 minutes to come back and hes with someone else. I wait and wait and wait. Finally, I ask him "is there anybody else that works here"? Theres nobody else......... while Im still patiently waiting I notice the price on the washer is now $657.... the man eventually comes over to me and I ask him "this is the last floor model, Why is it $657 now"? He says "THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU WAIT A DAY!" Seriously what a car sales man approach! My grandmother retired from Sears Roebuck and always spoke of this company with great affect. Sad that this is what they have come too. not only did they lose this sale but a customer.

I got a washer and dryer from here a few weeks ago. They came out and hooked it up wrong when I went to do laundry my whole floor was soaked and my dryer vent was squished. I called later on in the evening after I was trying to do my laundry. The customer service girl who answered the phone was very rude. SHE HUNG UP ON ME AND WHEN I CALLED BACK HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN and then forwarded me to their answer machine in which I never received a phone call back! THEN WE ENDED UP CALLING THE 1800 NUMBER INSTEAD TO HAVE THEM COME BACK OUT AND FIX IT WHICH TOOK A FEW DAYS. IF I DIDNT LOVE MY WASHER SO MUCH I WOULD HAVE RETURNED IT BECAUSE OF THE RUDE GIRL THAT ANSWERS THEIR PHONES AND BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE INSTALLATION WHICH WE PAID $75 FOR SO IT WOULD BE EASIER! WHICH IT WASNT. I AM NEVER USING THE UNIVERSITY SEARSS AGAIN!

Just tried to call, hung up, twice. I had ordered some pool shock in Feb. went to pick it up, was ignored by only guy "working" there. had to access their keiosk to get him to pull order. i am handicapped, and had just had an operation, had to go pack again when he didnt show. said hed be right out, again. brought out a broken package. refused to open it. asked 3 times for a manager. he refused. told him where he could stick his package. a month later, Sears charges me. i disputed it. they sent illegible documents saying i picked it up, now i have to produce a document of refusal, which was not offered. NEVER will we shop at Kmart or Sears again. dont bother to call, they wont pick up. did i forget, extremely rude.

An Absolute Mess Not only did I pay $269 more for the same mattress as my Aunt who made her purchase from Sears the day before but also getting it delivered has become a nightmare. I even went into the store to have them check the day before on the time window because I had to make very special arrangements to be home all day. Now I am sitting here well past the time window given being told it should show up tonight. I have spoken to someone over seas on almost every call. I see why they are closing all their store now. Oh tried to call the store, No ONE available to answer you call. Please give it a try and see what I mean. Never again.

Called to see if they had some larger items for me to see before purchasing but you get a call center with people who do not speak English and she put me on hold for over 13 minutes and then the appliance department answered and knew nothing and apparently could not transfer me. I then called back to talk to the store manager but after 4 minutes on hold was cut off without speaking to anyone! Go somewhere else if iii want any customer service.

Very unsatisfied with the woman in appliances- i was told i couldnt. See a small fridge because there wasnt one on display, but the other sizes were, she also said it was the only one left and i brought it to attention there were some in the center isle- i passed on the small one because i really needed to look inside to decide- she offered no solution. Very poor customer service- this was the university mall location in tampa

Not enough assistance on the floors in any of the departments. Justin was amazing in the shoe department. The 2 ladies at check out were so efficient, friendly and quick. I spent 2 hrs in store and I only found help and assistance in the shoe Department. Thank you Justin!!! Thank you cashiers at front of store near lingerie!! You ladies rock!! Thank you Tina of VRE you are amazingly awesome!!

Sears has GREAT deals on craftsman tools. I buy my husbands tools from Sears ONLY. They are very friendly fast &very helpful. One thing most ppl DONT know is they have "Clearance" areas,weve gotten some GREAT shoes &clothes from there. All brand name things.
