This is now the closest grocery store to my house since they closed Harveys so I shop here most of time. I have had good experiences and bad experiences. Some of the cashiers are really nice and some even remember you and take the time to speak to you even if you are not in their line. Ive had a bad experience with two of them. One was a young lady that still works there and I avoid her line no matter how short it is. Shes a healthy black girl that wears a bushy ponytail all the time. Shes always loud and talk over her customers to other cashiers. Ive been in her line all but four times and each time I received either a non chalant treatment like it bothered her to have me in her line or a "dang, I have to deal with this customer" attitude. On one occassion with a cashier a black male slender build I bought some items and went home and noticed some of my items were missing. I went back to the store because those items were part of my meal for the night and I paid for them. When I returned the cashier that had checked me out was on break but the healthy black cashier with the bushy ponytail was on one of the other express check outs. She told me to go to customer service because the guy was on break. Customer service looked all over the front of the store for my items. When they couldnt find them they told me to just go and get the items I was missing. I knew I had gotten the last roll of the butterball ground turkey and I told the lady in customer service. She told me the only thing she could do was refund me the money of that item and that I could go and get the shredded cheese. I did so and had to find something else to cook for my dinner. When I went in the express line to check out I went to the express check out of the healthy black cashier with the bushy ponytail avoiding the cashier of the black slender man because my items previously were not given to me. When they saw me it was like a joke to them, they discussed back and forth how customers come and try to get free food saying their food was lost which pissed me off. I reported their conversation after I got home and was told they were talked to but now I frequent that Wal-Mart as little as possible. I now either go to Apalachee Parkway or Crawfordville Wal-Mart whose customer service is very good in my opinion. I only go to the Tennessee Wal-Mart when I absolutely have to.

My boyfriend and i used to always shop at this Walmart. We are about to move and we went there a few times and asked for boxes.. They always told us to come back after 10 or 11 at night when the truck has gotten here and all the boxes that were in the customer service area we can have. Tonight we did. When We went to the area where they told us the boxes would be, we only saw one cart. We said okay cool, but we need one more cart. We pressed the little touch pad for assistant at least four different times, waiting for over 30 minutes. Associates constantly walking passed us, us trying to get their attention. They didnt care. We finally got ones attention and apparently we had to go grab our own carts and find boxes around the store ourself. I know the boxes are free and everything. But she said that we couldnt have that cart of boxes... For reasons I dont know. We went around the store and tried to get boxes... Every box we tried to get, an associate would tell us we couldnt have it. So guess what? We walked out without any boxes. Ive shopped here and have delt with the horrible service for awhile now but tonight was the final straw for me. There are a few good associates.. But when I say a few, I mean a few. Walmart really needs to double check their standards when it comes to hiring. customer service is key to a good business. And this Walmart does not have its key.

Ive lived in Tallahassee for over a year and regularly go to the Wal-Mart for shopping. The entire time Ive shopped here, Ive never had an issue with any of the staff (although, I dont know how professional it is to be sitting idly and doing nothing, even if the store is essentially empty). I went to Wal-Mart yesterday with my roommate and had exceptional help from the staff there, even as far as an employee who happened to be nearby at the time, lift a galleon of milk into my cart just because I was a couple feet away from my roommate who was getting the milk. Very polite and sweet, as well as two employees who helped us look for a hard-to-find product. When we went to check out, the woman at the register was sweet and patient, even though we had a lot of coupons and it was holding up her line, she was polite and nice the entire time! Not every place is perfect, and I see all these reviews about how dirty or unprofessional everyone is/rude managers, but Ive never had a problem with the staff here, but Ive always had a problem with the people who come and shop here! Rude, demanding, and essentially disrespectful and not understanding of why something you want may or may not be out at the day youre there. Earlier in the week, you have a higher chance of getting what you want! Hope people understand that, and you folks at Wal-Mart, keep up the good work!

NO STARS NO STARS NO STARS!!!! I do not like this store. Ive never been to a Walmart where they have a security guard at the door. I felt less safe shopping there because there was a need to have a security guard in uniform at the door. I only went because it was on the way to my destination and this store was disgustingly dirty. I arrived at 730 pm and was told "Sorry, the deli meat counter is closed because there are only 2 guys working so we had to close it to get everything cleaned." Seriously @ 730? The shelves were in disarray. Several regular items on my list were unavailable. I purchased a package of Natures Own Bagel Thins and when I was putting them away at home I saw the whole bottom of it was green. Yes, green from mold. The sell by date was July 1 and I bought it yesterday 7/10. I found that many of the customers shopping there were rude. They were getting their groceries and didnt care if they ran you over and heaven forbid you smile at them and say excuse me because they parked their cart in the middle of the isle or standing there talking to each other and you need to get past them. The only pleasant experience was that my cashier Derrick was very polite and nice. I will not step foot in this store location again other than to return my molded bread.

I only go there once or twice a year BUT I take my life in my hands in that unsafe demilitarized zone of a parking lot. If I go its early on a Monday morning....feeling safer with my husband I went to that Dollar Tree then zooped to the Wmart...OMG we got hit on getting out of our car by some ciggie smelling woman dressed better than me drunk off her behind asking us for money. We said we didnt carry any, a guy with her popped up and said lets see about that and he advanced as we literally ran into the store. A deputy out front did not want to hear it, rolled his eyes at us...ya come to this walmart and you wonder bad things happen? On the way out of the hot and terrible yet crowded store with lines 10 to 20 deep "homeless" kids one with a fake preg tummy ( not sure really a female ) got us again w/begging. I wanted to kick the crap out of them...but true self defense is frowned on in this country right now. In my opinion this PLACE TRULY SUCKS! I will never risk it again...terrible!
