I had a visit to JCs shop on my to do list when traveling to the area, so excited to visit and chat with the guys, as cigar smokers tend to do. Im not a cigar beginner or a hardcore tourist. When I got there JC was immersed in his rolling, and another guy kept saying "mild, medium, and full strength" pointing to the three varieties of cigars in the cases. No "hello" or anything. I started to ask some intellectual questions about the cigars and the guy seemed annoyed and gave short vague answers. I started to talk to JC about his rolling style and he also seemed as if I was bothering him and as if he didnt know what I was talking about. They werent friendly at all and actually JC seemed like a jerk. He never skipped a beat with the rolling and almost seemed oblivious to the customers who came in and bought something without a word of gratitude. Its hard to imagine someone knowingly setting up shop in a highly touristy area to showcase his craft and not being friendly at all!!. Why roll your cigars in plain view if you dont want to be asked questions about it? I could go on with how disgusting this is of him to act this way but there are a couple of videos online so you can see for yourself how disinterested he seems to be in any interaction with his customers. I did buy a couple cigars in the middle of this interaction (since I drove over 1,000 miles for my visit)of which I regret wholeheartedly!! No "thank you" or anything!!! nothing!!! This review has nothing to do with the cigars themselves, just the experience of the shop and the people in it! Which in turn can have a lot to do with the smoking experience!.... If you want a decent cigar at a decent price, feel free to splurge.. if you want to have a nice experience with a cigar roller (a rarity for most Im sure) dont expect too much interaction!! What a sad and disappointing experience this was for me and Im sure other experienced cigar smokers as well who wanted to learn and interact with a skilled roller....

After trying my first cigar from JC, I was hooked. I have had several bundles from him since and have not been disappointed. Each cigar has a smooth draw with a flavor somewhere past mild but not yet bold. I would recommend these cigars to anyone who enjoys a good quality smoke.

Past the shop when I was ther on vacation. The smell drew me in. Wonderful. Bought 2 mild cigars that he was rolling when I went in. Very smooth. Great smoke and very low prices for such high quality. Ill definitely place an order soon, and he will ship them to me. Awe

Owner was very nice, I bought 2 Robusto cigars and they were by far the best I have had. For the quality ( best I have come across) and being all hand rolled you cant beat the prices.

This shop is no frills. Mild, medium or dark. A guy at the register and a guy hand rolling. These are a great smoke. Easy draw. Mellow flavor. Smooth as can be!!! Check them out
