Paid almost $550 to get my service done on my Ducati. That service promised a reset of my service light. Owner Russ said his cable was broken so he ordered a new cable and I got my bike back within a day. told me to come back in one week to get light reset. 1 week went by. No cable, second week, third week and so on. By 1 month later he still says no cable and he will call me when it comes in. Its been almost 2 months. They where dodging my calls. Cant get a hold of them. Had to go to Ducati dealer and pay them even more money! Because of something Russ couldnt do that he agreed to do. Besides after I got my bike back the headlights no longer worked and the bike started smoking. He overfilled clutch reservoir so fluid had spilled everywhere and got on the paint and messed up my fairing. Very unhappy. Cant get a hold of them to even tell them of how unhappy I am! I dont write negative ratings at all but this was very unprofessional!

Took almost a year for an insurance issue to get settled. Russ said he was waiting on the insurance company. The insurance company said they were waiting on the shop. Once I finally got it all worked out (bike totaled) I took my new (95) to him to have some repair work done. The bike didnt even make it home. Russ told me the previous owner had used car oil in the bike transmission which has a detergent in it and causes the plates to slip. Instead of just replacing the plates and steels, Russ drained and replaced the fluid with the proper fluid (note: this didnt actually fix the problem. just a bandaid for about 10 miles.) One year later, and Im still trying to find the time to actually fix the bike myself (as I dont trust any of the mechanics in this town anymore).

A year ago I had my yamaha vstar worked on in this shop to the tune of $1600 including $350 to look over the bike since I had just bought it and was already having problems. I tore down the bike myself recently to replace the stator and to my surprise found glue where a gasket should be. Idk if the same mechanics are there but I can tell you after going through 2 regulators 1 of those being part of that bill Im less than thrilled to learn they obviously didnt go over the motorcyle like they told me they would which makes me wondwr if battery, brakes, and carburetors cleaning they claimed I needed were actually required as well.

Great experience! Great customer service. Owner and staff seem to be very down to earth people. As a small business owner myself taking care of the customer is priority one. And that seems to be the way of thinking and actions these guys believe as well. Local independent shop that provided 5K service on my Harley at 2/3 the cost that MoCo wanted. Had a long talk with the owner after all was said and done and I can honestly say they have my business from this point on - minus warranty and recall work.

Quality. Glad to have a great new shop to do my bike. Russell the owner is a great guy. Their rates are amazing. The do everything from Harley to suzuki. I have a project bike and things I cant tackle myself, I will definitely entrust to Ancient City cycles. He fixed things first coast motorsports did to it.. and its almost 40 dollars per hour cheaper! Great work on my bike at a great price (2003 gsxr 750 09/09/2014)

Absolutely amazing shop! While they may not have the lowest rates in town, the quality is second to none! Fantastic family atmosphere, none of the corporate feel of other shops. Very knowledgeable staff. Will go out of their way to accommodate you as best as possible!
