In an age where no one seems to be accountable for their work, it is refreshing to do business with a company that goes above and beyond the scope of their responsibility . First Coast Powersports is one of those rare businesses that goes the extra step to take care of their customers . While on a road trip, my rear tire was slashed by road debris. A central Florida dealer replaced my tire and installed new rear bearings and brake pads at my request. After leaving the dealership, one of my saddlebags, which had been removed during the repair, came off the bike while I was riding . When contacted about this, the dealership just made excuses and told me it was my problem. Upon return home to St. Augustine, I took my ride, a 1988 Kawasaki Voyager, to F.C. Powersports to replace the front tire and bearings . , so as to keep all on the same maintenance schedule. The work was completed on time and within the price quoted by F.C.Powersports. Several days later, the speedometer sending unit on the front wheel failed, taking out the new bearings, front axle and front fork ends. When I took my bike back to the shop, there was no argument about whether their work had failed or if the damage was due to pre-existing conditions nor who was responsible for what repairs. The service department replaced all the damaged parts , which required lots of searching on their part for hard to find components and they threw in front brakes as well ! Needless to say, this would have been an end to my bikes 26 years of faithful service had they not been able to locate the hard to find parts.I had expected to get a healthy bill with little or no break, but was astounded when they told me there would be no charge ! They wanted to be sure that I was taken care of and that there was no doubt about the quality of their work. I can tell you that there is no doubt in my mind about the integrity of First Coast Powersports, the service they provide, or the level of dedication that the personnel in all of their departments possess. I ride a lot, over 180,000 miles on this bike alone, and confidence in my ride is imperative. F.C. Powersports has returned that confidence in my bike to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone who rides the cycles that they sell and service. If Kawasaki still built 4 cylinder motors, Id even consider buying a new bike from them, but until then, heres to turning over the odometer again soon. Thanks, everyone at F.C.Powersports , for the great service and for being that exceptional business that goes above and beyond the call , Capt. Scott Watts.

This is one of the worst experiences in the recent years. My 1998 waverunner stopped running while being used. I took it to FCP since it was closest to my house. I paid the $140 for them to diagnose the problem. After 2 days, Brandon called me to tell me that the solenoid was bad and that it, the solenoid, "fried the instrument panel". He was pleased to quote me a price of $1,500 for replacing a instrument panel and replacing a solenoid. The panel was supposed to be $800. Leaving $700 to replace the solenoid. REALLY? The solenoid is maybe $20 at the most so $680 in labor to replace 2 parts. They offered install the solenoid and bypass the panel. A solution? Yes...but "all this work had to be done" and that was going to be $750. I stated that at $120 per hour, there is no way it should take such an experienced mechanic to take 5 hours to perform such a feat. When I hinted at a budget of $500, miraculously, was able to shave off $257. In my mind, this is a 1 hour job tops. Of course Brandon assured me over and over that this was way more complicated of a job that i realized. After talking to another jet ski mechanic in Tennessee being someone that has nothing to gain from, like my business, told me that I should look for another mechanic. He said that there is no way the solenoid would have anything to do with the instrument panel, especially causing it to go bad. These guys are liars and swindlers. When I called back to tell him what I had found out from others, he said that he was not going to sit there and argue with me and offered to cancel my repair order but since he already ordered the solenoid an hour before and it was a special order, i was on the hook for that. I kinda consider that $45 for the $15 solenoid a "stupid fee" for me going to them in the first place. Look elsewhere before coming to these dishonest, lying, swindling con man and company. Remember, people like Brandon get a percentage of the money that you pay so they will jack the price up...even more than you can imagine. BEWARE!

bought a used 2012 honda cbr. and a 2 year honda extended warranty. supposedly. they were supposed to service the bike before delivery to make sure nothing wrong with it, safe to ride, and clean it. when the day came to deliver the bike, an empty trailer showed up and a guy looking to pick up a bike. called shop and was told "i wouldnt be happy with the condition bike was in" . well if you had done your job like you were supposed to, i would be. luckily bike was delivered next day in promised condition. next, i had to haggle them endlessly about my tags because they took the entire month to get them to me. i had purchased a warranty, and they stated no there are no warranty papers, just call a dealer and give them the vin. well i called a honda dealer and they couldnt find it so as of over 1 month later, the warranty is still not in the system, i get the run around and "well call you back" and basically lied to that problem was "being looked into". called back and the sales rep stated " whats the problem". how about the problem we discussed 3 hours ago? cannot wait to get this matter settled and then never have to talk to these people again. while waiting to test bike, they couldnt find the key for it. tried numerous keys, not in stock. had to wait for a locksmith to come and make a key for the bike. a customer came in complaining of broken product, and the sales rep trashed talked the man to me. you dont talk bad about other customers to customers. no respect. did not have accessories for bike, such as a cover or even a decent pair of gloves. and their labor rate is really over priced. about 130$/hr. sales rep in response to almost every question about the dealership stated "were a reputable dealer". why do you keep trying to reassure me of that? overall, got a good deal on bike, but would definitely not buy new there, or recommend the place.

Bought 2 jet skis and a trailer their on 8/30 which was a Saturday. Les the sales person said would have them ready for us on 9/2 or latest 9/3. As I followed up on him daily it went to 9/3 or 9/4 then finally 9/5 morning. Then 9/5 afternoon. Arrived to pick up the jet skis and trailer and was told they would be ready in 20 minutes. After a week they were still not ready. We finally got the jet skis 4 1/2 hours later! Sales person told us it was a 2 1/2" ball on the trailer but had everything. Again another lie it was a 2 ball and they did not have the part. Had to race down to a automotive store to get a new ball so we could even get out of there. Told Chris the manager this is crazy how long we have been waiting and he saw us their for all these hours and he did not say a word. Heard the whole time I was their one lie after another being told to other customers on how their product would be ready and people waiting. Not as long us we did. Also they did not even have our life jackets after they told us they would be ready and still do not have today 10/2! Now they are telling us the 1st of the year! These people could not tell you the truth if they tried! If you have to pay more money go somewhere else it is not worth the aggravations or lies you will get. I am still trying to get touch up paint for the jet skis they scratched, my trailer fixed, life jackets and just a manual for the trailer! WORST BUISNESS TRANSACTION I HAVE EVER GONE THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
