Worst furniture store I have ever been to. Attempted to buy an end table. Price was $179.00. Was ready to take it off the floor, but told it would have to be ordered. When I said I would pick it up at the store rather than have it delivered, I was told that I would still have to pay a $69.00 delivery charge. When I spoke to the manager and tried to explain that an additional $69. on such an inexpensive piece was out of line. He said thats the way it is, and if I wanted to pick it up, rather than at the store I could go to the warehouse (over 100) miles away. I told him that was crazy, he then said if I wanted to pick it up at the store, I could assemble it myself. He was positively nasty. I left the store and went to another store several miles away and found a beautiful table which I was able to take home. I was the customer, I was the person spending my money and there was no reason for any salesperson or in particular a manager to treat me in this manner.......... I will NEVER go back to Ashley Home Store, and I will be certain to tell all of my friends how I was treated.

Tiara was awesome, very knowledgeable and extremely patient :). Great job Dropping this to 3 stars, Although my buying experience was great my delivery and customer service after the sale were horrible. The couch I ordered was damaged upon delivery so we refused delivery. Was told we would be called, guess what no one called, after calling a new date was set. A whole week later, not happy but fine, so get the calls and text messages that it will be delivered on x date, that date and time come and go, so I call and after a brief conversation with a very none friendly person they said the couch was delivered. Ummmmmm would I be calling if my couch was delivered? After all that mix up got resolved I finally got my couch (undamaged) and me having to waste 3 days of my precious vacation waiting...... and not even a sorry or follow up from the store to make sure everything was ok. Hopefully Ashleys will read this because as consumers we do have options, and I will be exercising those options in my next purchase.

Last Summer, we bought a dining room set and also purchased the warranty. I recently noticed that there was a small crack in the wood on one end of the table. I must admit that I was not excited to call Ashley Furniture and possibly get the "run around" on trying to use the warranty. I was pleasantly surprised when the customer care rep set an appt for the table to be assessed the following week. The furniture repair tech came out and recommended that the whole table be replaced, not just the leaf that had the defect. He said that Ashley Furniture would contact me about replacement. Within a week I received a call stating that my new table would be delivered tomorrow. My experience was hassle free and everyone I have been in Contact with has been extremely friendly and professional. I will be a repeat customer.

My mom and I went to shop for a couch and when we walked in DawnOConnor immediately helped us.She showed excellent customer service and went out of her way to go through my cell phone pictures to look at my living room and see the space i had. Dawn even zoomed in to what size tiles i have on my floor and popped out her measuring tape and started measuring also doing math on paper to see the current measurement. She also was patient and helped to decide what would be the best for the space left chase or right..She showed exceptional customer service and was very patient and extremely helpful I definitely recommend on to anyone shopping for any furniture she made us feel like family and at home. I will be looking forward to shopping at the Sanford location again soon!

We came in to just browse but we found so many pieces that we loved that we ended up buying. Renata was an amazing sales associate, she really took the time to help us put pieces together. She was extremely knowledgeable of the products in the store and even went online to explore other possible options. We took alot of her time and never once did she stray from our side. Vic the manager also worked with us to accomodate our needs, he knew as soon as my husband started sweating the price what to do to ease his pain, giving us an additional discount. We spent several hours in the store and Renata and Vic made it seem like a night with friends. Keep up the great work, this is an all star team.

Pleasant experience at the store. PLEASE READ - However, today I received my sofa and love seat but no end tables (2), no lamps (2), no coffee table (1), No area rug (1), no decorative accessories (3) and it was all part of one Order. May I add I paid it in full cash. I call the store and they inform me that those pieces are now shipped thru the mail. WHY would a furniture store ship your merchandise thru the mail?! Today is Saturday I expected my whole set to come together. DISAPPOINTED to say it nicely. Sales people must say this upfront!!!!!! I guess now I have to assemble the tables myself if they are not stolen my front door upon delivery. FURIOUS customer!!!!!

The Salesperson with Ashley furniture was great. However their Customer service is horrible!!!! The merchandise came with defects and I was advised that 1 of their techs will contact me and come over. Since Dec 16th they have cancelled 2 appointments with the same exact excuse" Their Driver got hurt" and wont be able to make it.. I have wasted 2 days during holiday season. Even went to their store personally and the lady at the customer service has no courtesy to listen to the concern and simply stated to call their corporate.. it has been over a month with No resolution... Extremely Disappointed !!! Would not consider doing business with them..

Originally it was a pleasure experience but after my furniture was delivered it been a stressful process. First they dont notify me that the pendant light that was supposed to be deliver on Sept 1st was put on back ordered until Sept 12. Then they deliver sofas instead of a sofa and loveseat. The warehouse tells me one thing and the store another thing. Dont know which one to believe. In top of everything the sofa that was deliver is not the same one that was at the store. The one at the store had attached back pillows and the one delivered has removal back pillows. The furniture quality is great but not worth the time.

Our sales associate, John,was very friendly and very helpful. He was not overbearing. He let us take our time to look at all the stores option, making himself available for any questions we may have, but did not pressure is into making a selection. The products offered in the store were very reasonably priced--really got out the door with a great deal. Overall, John and the products available provided a positive shopping experience. With we able to find everything we needed all in the same location. I would definitely return here for future needs and would recommend this location to anyone looking for home furniture.
