I am new to the area and there are limited furniture stores in St. Augustine, so I hit planned to hit them all. I went to Farmers, ZBest, Badcock, and then to Wholesale. What a horrible place. The owners are a husband and wife (I think). They argued with each other while I was in the store. The woman (I dont know her name because she didnt bother to introduce herself) saw my daughter coming in with a bag of Cheetos (which I was going to take from her and put in my purse) said very nasty to me while looking at my daughter "She is NOT coming in here with those!". After that I felt very uncomfortable the whole time I was there and between that and the two of them fussing at one another, I couldnt wait to get out of there. I wound up down the street on SR 16 and that was the last place I went. That is also a husband and wife, but they were so super nice and very patient with me. I spent about 3 hours there and wound up furnishing my whole apartment for less than $2k, and with very nice things for my budget. Wholesale claims you can do that with them too, but I dont know how you would ever get through it as nasty as they both are. I will never go there again. Rude, rude, rude.

The furniture is fine, but do not plan on delivery. The gentleman that came to deliver our sofa was so rude and condescending I will never purchase from this business again. He walked in the front door of our unit, announced "it wont fit" and then walked back out. He did not measure anything, when my husband measured the sofa we were replacing and the new one and discovered they were the same size, the delivery man said "if you want to pay me so I can prove it to you thats fine." And then proceeded to yell at him assistant. We offered to remove the banister railing and the doors if it would help, he just keep snaping his gum and repeating "you can pay me to prove it to you if you want." If something wont fit it wont fit, but as this gentleman did not even walk in my front door let alone get out a tape measure to check anything I have no confidence in his general assessment. Im pretty certain he just did not want to do the work. Long story short, skip the $75 delivery. Do not spend your morning dealing with a rude individual snapping his gum at you and haughtily challenging you for $75.

A few years ago, I purchased a poorly furnished yet simple one bedroom beach front condo. I never thought about replacing my outdated furniture because I live by myself and am only in Saint Augustine for the winter months and I rent it out the other months I am not there. I received a phone call from my realtor saying that she was having trouble renting it because of my furniture. I was hesitant of purchasing furniture while I am not there to physically see it. My realtor told me to contact Wholesale Furniture because she had previously worked with them before on another rental. The owner picked out a queen sleeper sofa that matched my current typical Floridian decor and sent it to me via email. I fell in love with it and purchased it over the phone. The delivery guys got the key from the front office and set up my bedroom set and sleeper sofa then removed the old sleeper sofa. I usually do not write reviews but I was so impressed by the way everything was taken care of for me while I was in another state that I thought a review was appropriate.

Went into the store about a month ago looking for a new couch with my girlfriend. We had found one that I was particularly happy with, but my girlfriend didnt want to settle. We ended up going to Ashley Furniture in Jacksonville and found the EXACT same couch for $225 dollars more, plus a 7-10 day wait on delivery and a ridiculous delivery fee. We ran back to Wholesale and got the couch delivered same day for a nominal fee. Now we know to just come here first!

They have the coolest stuff here, so much more than one would think being a wholesale outlet. Unique lamps, beautiful fabric choices, and decorative art. Even featuring some local artists! A St Augustine unknown treasure for sure!

Friendly, helpful and they sell beautiful furniture! The prices were very reasonable and good quality. I was in a bind and needed next day delivery and they accomadated me. I will definitely be back!!
