Terrible customer service. My husband and I were refrigerator shopping, and we had previously gone to the valrico location to check out prices. The associate at the valrico location said they would price match a fridge for the same price as the lowes across the street, plus their additional 10% off deal they had going on. But delivery wouldnt be for another 5 days, so we decided to check out this location which is close to our house. Come to find out its the same delivery so we should have just bought it there and then. So while in the riverview store, not only did no one ask us if we needed any help for 20 min until we finally found someone, they immediately denied the offer That was given to us at the valrico location. An assistant manager walked by as the associate was talking to us, and she asked her about the deal, which the assistant manager promptly and rudely replied "no we wont do that, theyre not supposed to do that, thats like double dipping!" Double dipping? Seriously? How about making a customer satisfied? I felt that response was unprofessional, and I also got the implication that the employees at this location didnt want to be bothered with anything. Being that I am more of a Home Depot fan than a lowes fan, I dont want to let this deter me from shopping at Home Depot anymore for my home needs, but I will definitely not be stepping foot back in the Home Depot that is right across the street from my house anymore. They didnt seem bothered at all that we were going back to the valrico location to purchase our refrigerator. I wonder which store is more successful, Im assuming the valrico location because they take better care of Their customers.

Be careful when shopping at this location! Went in to purchase a few power tools but wasnt sure which one exactly I wanted. I had 2 that I was interested in so I picked up the boxes & put them in my cart. I then moved myself out of other customers way(move over on aisle so I wasnt blocking items or walkway) I then used my phone to google both brands & reviews. After I decided which 1 I was going to purchase I placed the other back on the shelf. I finished up my shopping went thru the check out & as I was leaving Ryan the LP "manager" stops me & in front of a store front full of people proceeds to say I shoplifted an item. This was highly embarrassing! I had on a shirt with my company name on it so now people think my company is owned by a thief!! He had me go to his little LP room & calls HCSO. Ryan TOLD the officer that all he saw was I put the box in my cart,then put it back...no video..NOTHING to prove why I was being detained. Due to this LP "manager" being a liar I have missed work to attend court for this matter. I am also in process of filing a civil case against not only Home Depot but Ryan personally. If he wanted to be someone of high standing he should have went for a real job instead of a LP that has a big ego. By the time this is all finished Im positive Ryan will never want to be untruthful again.

Will never be a home depot customer again. I purchased a washer and dryer, it was to be delivered a week later and that never happened. They are under contract with a separte company for the delivery. This is a joke of a company. No one is accountable for any mistake. Home depot blames this company, and they blame home depot. No one resolves the issue. You will spend hours on the phone with both companies only to be transfered and disconected over and over. Sales employees who have no control of the situation have to hear all of the complaints. They cant possibly be paid enough to take all of that abuse with no solutions for the problems available to them. After days of trying, i got fed up and cancelled the purchase with a home depot manager. I was told it would take murchant services 72 hrs to replace the funds. Its now 7 days later and no funds have been replaced. Because it was never done in the first place according to another manager I spoke with today. I now have to go to the store for the 3rd time. Hopefully I can get the money back for the appliances that I never recieved. This is the shittiest establishment Ive ever etempted to do bussinuss with. I wont spend another cent with a home depot. If I needed a hammer and it were the only place to buy one, Id find a rock and use it instead.

I just had a horrendous customer service experience. I was buying a gift for my husband and was spending about $150. He is a military veteran who has been deployed twice. I asked for the military discount which I had initially forgotten about but one of the associates brought it up since its Memorial Day weekend. I didnt have anything on me to identify military but I was willing to show my bank statement to prove it PLUS we have spent thousands of dollars at this location on a Home Depot card that could be looked up and seen that we had received the discount in the past. The manager Felicia was so rude and offered no empathy and refused to offer the discount or look up the info on the Home Depot card because that wouldnt be sufficient enough proof. Are you kidding me?!?! Its Memorial Day weekend, Im trying to surprise my husband with a gift and this is the disrespect I get as a military spouse. Unbelievable. I returned the items and refuse to spend another dime there for being treated so terribly. Someone needs to learn customer service skills if they are to be a manager and represent your store. I am a manager and I would never treat my customer like that or lose a lifetime customer over something that could have so easily been resolved.

Not helpful and refused business Went Saturday Shopping for new construction home. Found (6) cabinets on sale. Went to purchase the cabinets. 2 of the cabinets were marked with the wrong sku and wrong size. We were given a pen and told to go write it down and bring it back (what kind of service and help is that) why not walk back and help? Once we got the sku corrected on our own, we went to purchase the cabinets and have them delivered. Keep in mind its only 6 cabinets. We were then told they cant deliver them after almost an hour and a half of trying to purchase them. They screen said "please break up in to multiple deliveries" we told them it can be delivered in the next 45 days. They said they would look into it. We left my wifes # and confirmed that was the # to call. I got a VM (not my wife) stating sorry we cant deliver (6) cabinets and they want to know what to do because they are on will call. We have about $4-$6k to spend in improvements before moving in and items for the new home next month. Home Depot has lost us as a customer for life and we will choose to do business with other places that are willing to help and appreciate its customers.

I made the mistake of getting my flooring from home Depot had nothing but problems from them delivering wrong stuff to the carpet installer straight out lying the carpet installer left my back door wide open without a word to me left called the office told them my old carpet was covered in animal feces and they could not take out..when in fact that was a total complete lie there was a couple of old stains not animal feces at all..they just didnt want to install my carpet because they had to come thru the back and they were to lazy!! I recommend staying away from anything that has to do with home depot unless you just want headaches thats all they have caused me!!
