i purchased a firearm from a booth at a gun show, turns out it was from 5th ave pawn, about an hour from where i live. The guy i dealt with was very nice, and i got a good price. i was told i had to wait 3 days, but one the 3rd day come in any time after 9am. i am there at 9am, and i was told i need to wait until 10am or later because the guns werent in yet. So i kill an hour, come back, i stand at the counter for about 5 minutes, being stared at by a guy on the phone. no customer service skills at all. then the gun is miss placed. eventually it is found. i buy a bag of 50 .22LR rounds from them for $13.00! im being gouged, but thats the state of the market. i drive down the road, and realize i should have counted the bullets, turns out a bag of 50 only contains 44....i call them, i am greeted by "hello?, hello? CLICK". i call back, i have to ask if this is 5th ave pawn, "Uhhh, yeah" i explain what happened, and i am told to call back, ask for a manager, theyre all busy. i wait, i call back, now my number is ignored. THIS PLACE IS DECEPTIVE, RUN BY CROOKS!

me and my wife went to pawn her broken gold thatb was around 3 penny wights the man behind the counter put half the broken gold in the basket to be scaled and left half of the broken rings in his hand when in said what about the gold in ur hand he stated that it stuck to his had and he then told me and my wife to leave his store bafter given me about a 3ed of my gold back pout side I said he was a con and a thief a big guy a employee said if I called his boss a con and a thief again he would pound me lol lil to there knowlage my father is a port richy cop and is now starting a investagtion wit them for sale of fire arms and stolen porpty they also buy wall mart crads for 50 cents on the dollar and they know the people steal the stuff as they also buy merch in the package brand new and know it is stolen they are cons and thifes go just south on 19 just across the bridge next to citgo they r a nice friendly place (where the guy dances wit the gold sign )

After having a bad experience buying a pre owned laptop at a local pawn shop chain . In which over a 3 day period of buying returning for repair and losey customer service which I would like unto that of burger king in a lunch rush understaffed . I finally found my way to FIFTH AV Pawn about 4 months ago and the computer I purchased is still running as it did the day I bought it great .The employees are professional and courteous. In the case of the computers They have a pro tech that cleans and makes sure every thing is in order. I have been in a few times since I bought the laptop .Looking at firearms That I am planning to get soon. And the fellow is always patient, helpful as well as knowledgeable .Highly recommend Fifth Av Pawn to family and friends .

I would have gave them NO STARS but it was not an option. HEATH is a dishonest human being. He sold us a gift card that we could not use and then told me that he would not exchange the card or refund my money because " then he would be in the same place that I was in". I had to get the police involved and then he only offered half of what I paid. The police even said that this place was shady but didnt have proof to prosecute.(yet) Beware if you buy from them. They are not good honest people. treat it like a yard sale and if you do buy from them know that your not going to have someone that stands behind there products, even if there is a warranty. You get what you get you have been warned.

I called them today there transfer gun charge is 30$ cheaper then the ffl dealer by me who charges about 50$ there gun prices for long guns are over priced I will say I called them before and they were the price of msrp its not a bad thing but its a,deal killer for me when I can buy online for 300 to 400$ a regular full size ar15 and then just pay the 30$ I rather walk in and pay 400$ and walk out with a ar15 From them but there ar15s are like 650 to 900 plus dollars

I requested a custom made ring, using a ring I had inherited. Heath designed and made the ring to order. Later I decided to change it and again he customized it exactly the way I wanted it. Great workmanship! I also enjoyed the other employees always polite and professional. I have spent quite a bit of time there and have always felt the employees were Polite and professional to all the customers, both buyers and sellers.

Scumbags. Saw me walking up from car but said nothing while walking in 30sec before me only to half@$$ lock the door behind them. So I get to the door, it wiggles and pulls right open. They hold a guarded, cocked pistol and YELL "THAT DOOR WAS LOCKED FOR A REASON". It was 09:55 and the hours say open at 09:00 right on door. The "locked" door took very little effort to walk right in. Thanks guys, way to start the week.

these people are ridiculous. I went in with several ounces of silver bullion that I wanted to sell and they offered me fifteen dollars an ounce!! spot price is around thirty! every other shop in the area gives about a buck under spot. these people are rip-offs not to mention rude. when I walked in the place was dead and they just basically ignored me. I will never give them my business!

This is the best pawn shop in Florida! Ive purchased a variety of items including DVDs, jewelry, a camera, and 2 laptops. The prices were reasonable and all of the items were exactly as described and I was extremely pleased with everything. I have also sold a few items and received fair payment. I highly recommend the friendly and helpful staff, Heath, Patricia and Geraldo.

I dont understand the bad reviews. They have a great selection. Prices can be higher on new guns because they are not a large chain and only order 1 or 2 at a time. Still cheaper then The Firing Line. Guys working there seem nice and dont bug you to death when looking around. If you had a problem here, Id say you probably deserved it.

Best people to deal with, if you are straight forward and dont bring junk you will get your moneys worth. But if you are an idiot and bring in junk dont expect to get paid. I bought a firearm from them and got professional curious service. Very helpful attentive people. Will be shopping here for all my firearms needs.

I have bought a number of items here with no problems, everybody was very helpful, the gunsmiths did great work for me, took the concealed weapon courses which were great. I had no bad experiences, I didnt see any instances of the complaints I have seen here while I have shopped there and I have been there many times.
