I took my engagement ring into Kays in Plantation, Florida inside the Broward Mall. Since the day, I received my ring it has been my prize possession! I have taken it in every 6 months to be inspected as they made it clear it was necessary for the warranty to be valid. I took my ring on Wednesday, 2/22/2017 around 7PM to get the stone replaced AGAIN and to get my wedding band sized because Im getting married in a few months. After handing my ring over the woman said she had to speak to the manager, which I thought was strange. She then informed me that she would do me a "favor" and replace the stone. I didnt understand as I was just there getting the same stone replaced on back on 12/27/2016? She said the computer didnt show that I had brought the ring in and without tangible documents my ring wouldnt be covered under the "warranty" that it was MY responsibly to bring in my paperwork, isnt that why we have computers? Anyway, Every single time I took my ring in for inspection the employee always asked me for my information then went to the computer did whatever as I cant see as he is behind the counter, does the inspection, cleans my ring, compliments it and sends me on my way. I of course thinking all was fine. As I mentioned earlier this is my prize possession so I made sure to take it in to keep the warranty ! Apparently, if the computer says I wasnt there then I wasnt right? So lucky me I happen to have the receipt from when I got the stone fixed just this past December. So that "saved" me. One woman just kept antagonizing my fiancé after making a HUGE scene the manger told her to stop, she then reluctantly started the paperwork. Now heres what in my opinion is the worse part. As most women we have no clue what our partner pays for the engagement ring and as I look down, there is a sheet she handed me that has in detail the price for the engagement ring and the wedding band?!?! I mean how could I not read it when she had it with the paperwork she just asked me to fill out! I started crying immediately! I did not want to know. He spent SO much ! As a tear ran down my cheek, I looked at the woman and told her I thought she should have used a lot more discretion with that paper. She looked at me without an ounce of compassion and said she HAD to write it? Really? Why? No other receipt I have ever gotten had a price on it. Now my rings are sent away AGAIN for 2 weeks. I am seriously upset with Kays staff and their lack of professionalism. I should have just taken my rings and come back another time, not sure why but we didnt. In addition: This morning I called the store to check and make sure my ring was sent out for repair. So when the woman picked up the phone I asked to speak with the manager and as the manager picked up the phone her exact response was "what do you want"? This manager happens to be the women we had had the issue with the night before! My first instinct was, "wow how did she know it was me?" Then I remembered this was just her unprofessionalism as it seems she just speaks to everyone in that manner. Needless to say I will only return to that location to pick up my ring. After that, I will NEVER return to a Kays Jewelry and will advise everyone I know to shop elsewhere! Update as of 7/18/17 My ring is back at a different location for the 3rd time this year . Same unacceptable repair and waiting on a call from the manager to see if he was able to get it done correctly. I get married in October I will be devastated if this ring isnt as perfect as it should be.

To be COMPLETLY honest they have the WORST customer service when it comes to buying the limited lifetime warranty for your wedding rings! To be exact...I had taken mine and my husbands ring in to get cleaned and redipped before our ONE YEAR anniversary which was April 18th. I hadnt gotten them done since our wedding due to the fact it takes FOREVER for your rings to come back! I went in about a week before our anniversary dropped off my rings was told it may take awhile due to busy season and Mothers day approaching...fine...whatever I wont get them back on time before my anniversary...dropping them off the Monday before the 18th I get a call on that Friday saying my rings are ready! Awesome! Super excited I go with my husband on our anniversary to pick up our rings everything looks good! We leave the store and my husband who RARELY ever! Looks at his ring and inspects it notices that his ring is completely gold! Mind you...his ring when I dropped it off was WHITE GOLD...I bought it WHITE GOLD! So trying to remain calm I go back to the store and explain to the associate that my husbands ring is NOT gold! So in the midst of rushing our rings they cleaned them but forgot to redip his. OK fine...whatever maybe it was a minor mistake. Before leaving my husband told the associate PLEASE take your time do not rush the ring make sure it comes back fine. Well 10 days later I get a call stating its ready again. I tell them I will be there on Monday to pick it up. Well heres Monday... I go in around 740 pm pick up my husbands ring, look at it OK sweet they dipped it back to white gold. I take a closer look...look at the lady and ask her can u try and clean the rough looking mark on the front part of the ring below the diamonds...as shes cleaning it thinking maybe its a finger print she whips out a magnify glass and inspects it...Oh God! Yup! She states it looks like they dipped it and set it on the side and it scuffed it...at this point Im livid. I start going off on her. Ive already waited longer then I should have. My husband couldnt even wear his ring on our ONE YEAR anniversary of being married! It has literally turned into a nightmare. I then ask her if she can put a rush on it so Im not having to wait even longer she explains the manager isnt there to contact the place that cleans the jewelry...Now Im fuming...I contacted customer service and filed a complaint only for them to be like "Im sorry" they dont care at all. I googled Kay Jewlerys to come across an ACTUAL news article POSTED on April 27th regarding the horrible customer service they have...from Feburary to April 22 they have had nothing but complaints against there company ranging anywhere from loosing peoples personal wedding rings, to peoples diamonds falling out of there rings, and messing up peoples engagement rings and wedding rings!! Ding ding! I fall into this category...along with thousands of other people... All I know is if his ring does NOT come back the way I bought it there is gonna be a bigger issue on Kay Jewlerys hands...Completely disgusted with the lack of customer service and the amount of sympathy they have towards anyone and everyone...I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

I never write reviews. The only reason Im writing this is because of how ridiculous my entire experience has been. I had to get my ring resized after my boyfriend proposed to me, which is perfectly fine. I didnt expect the ring to be the right size when my boyfriend didnt know my size. So,we went 2 days after he proposed and requested to get it resized. The ring was a size 7 and they determined I was a size 6. After 10 days, I was able to get my ring back and my boyfriend surprised me with a beautiful engraving. When I tried on the ring, it was obviously way too tight, the wedding band didnt even go up my finger. So we returned the next day, and the engagement ring had been sized to a size 5 and 3/4s while the wedding band was sized as a 5 and 1/2..... RIDICULOUS. Now I had to wait another 10 days to get my ring back and they had to re-do the engraving. As I sit here, literally 3 days after getting my ring back, not only did a diamond go missing/fell off/whatever you want to call it, the engraving was also done incorrectly. Instead of it saying "Forever Loving You," it says: "Forever Living You." ........ tell me how that makes sense. Now, I have to take the ring back in for two problems. I got engaged literally a month ago and have only been able to wear my ring a total of 5 times. DO NOT GO HERE.
