We visited the deli in this store tonight for some subs and it was one of the worst experiences weve had at Publix. I was greeted promptly enough but when I requested my Publix Ultimate sub was told it was the last one. This raised some concern as all other Publix offer to cut fresh meat and or upgrade to Boars head at no cost. I received my sub and had my son step up to place his order. The attendant was an older Hispanic lady not wearing a name tag. When he requested his Cuban sub she said they had them and pointed to the deli island case. He thought she was trying to confirm the sandwich type and he state, "Yes, a Cuban please." She asked the other deli reps if they had Cuban sandwiches in the case and they informed her that they had been pulled. Usually the sandwiches are pulled when they are out of date. She proceeded to go to the back, get one of the sandwiches that had been pulled, brought it out and put it in the press. Im watching this the whole time, meanwhile the other reps say nothing,, and assist another customer with subs. My son looks at me and I tell him to ask if there is any reason he cannot get a fresh-made sub. When he asked the lady for a fresh sub, she stated that the sub she pulled from the back was fresh. He requested a freshly made sub and she finally relented and made him a custom Cuban sub. I dont understand why it was such a hassle to simply get the sub from the start. It was as if she was trying to avoid work and/or discriminating against my son for some reason. I will most likely not visit this store again, and will think twice when visiting other Publix stores as a result. We used to love Publix service and their custom made subs but service like this is just unacceptable. Ann the cashier was pleasant, but the deli here needs much help. I realize its not the end of the world and there are many greater concerns in our lives at this time - if her family has been touched by the devastation at Pulse it may account for being distracted but definitely not standard Publix service today. Dont go there! That area is horrible especially cashier name Giovanni. He is working on customer service for refund, lotto, and else. He make fun of disable people. He make fun of deaf customer, handicapped customer and blind customer. Also the women Spanish with yellow highlight with black glasses who support with Giovanni to make fun of disable people. she also work on customer service with him too. I thought publix supposed be friendly and care of disabled. The headquarters or supervisor should check the both employee. It is so shame for them to work under publix without care. They are not absolutely fit to work there. They want your money and not give you statisfied if the products are not good taste. They dont care if milk taste so awful. They want your money and they decided to give you a gift card if you paid cash. They dont want give UU cash. what a shame! They need to be fired for that reason. I feel so sorry for disabled. I care about them. This is so shame!

The most awful publix experience ever. I came on Friday august the 4th around 8:30pm(if management truly cares about customers, they should know who was working with the specific time and date).The deli had the most rude staff I have ever seen in my life. Please check your staff, or slowly clean house. They dont care about the customers, its obvious they wanted us all to leave. The way they addressed me and other customers were very unprofessional. They took forever with the chicken, after telling us to wait 20 minutes, it took 30 minutes btw...they gave the last chicken box from the drop to a white woman who clearly havent been waiting as long as us and who was behind us. Then they have the audacity to ask us to wait another 15 minutes. I had to leave, I will never step foot into another publix again. I feel like the chain is big enough, to the point that employees can get away with ruining someones day.

I absolutely love Publix, but I had to Walmart bc that guy that works customers service named Geivonoe (misspelled) is the rudest unprofessional person there, I do check cashing and western union on a regular basis and if ur not a very hot young girl he barley talks to u. I have went out of my way to ask about this day and he just ignored me four times I I refused to be treated like a dog. I unedited to love Publix and only shop three but now Walmart and Winn Dixie get our business and I will be passing the word around I gave that boy over a year to treat me with respect and never happened, guess Im not pretty enough for him to treat with respect. Thank you Kasey! Ps if start shopa working there again there behind main counter my coworkers and I might come back but not untill. this publix has the dumbest cashiers I have ever seen they need to be trained more. I was purchasing 10 right guard total defense 5 deodorant. The cashier only took two coupons. The coupons clearly stated you need to purchase two, (it said TWO in capital letters) of the rite guard total defense 5 deotrant or body wash. However Diana (at 9/11/12 11:37) said she knew more than I when I politely informed her that it stated the quantity of 2 and the 5 was the type... I shop in bulk like most people when its on sale because that is all I can afford....i cant afford mistakes, ignorance and downright rude people. I accept when Im wrong, Im not one of those to complain over pennies...but being told by Diana she knows more than I do is too much!! I will never come here again!! I remember now why people avoid this publix.

I walk 15 minutes there and back to go to this place. I LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO A WINN DIXIE. They over-charged me for cheese which was supposed to be $3 but they charged me full price and I got steak-ummms and there was a box with 14 steaks and one with 6 steaks. For some reason they were right on top of each other and what was supposed to be 4$ buy one get one free the charged me 15$!!!!! Unlike winn-dixie I cant walk back to fix this. I go to publix so they DONT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. Not going anymore! Also there is this employee who always hits on me and talks to me for like 10 minutes and I dont even know what he says. So not going there anymore!!!!

bought an outdated bag of Starbucks coffee here. It wouldnt scan so I told the clerk the price 13.99 so he puts in the cash register as miscellaneous. I went to take it back and the Russian lady at customer service told me I didn;t buy the coffee there and pretty much I was a thief. I found the manager and she also was adamant that I did not buy the coffee there. So I took her to the coffee section, showed here that half of all of the star bucks brands WERE EXPIRED. and the empty 13.99 bin.Were I got my expired bag. Thanx guys . . . Nice knowing ya. . .wont be shopping there no more. . .nor my family .
