I had read all the reviews on here specially the bad reviews about Magic City Cycle. I had previously loaded up on all the info I needed about the Street Twin that I was interested in purchasing eventually and went there just sit on it and verify if I can flat foot the thing and thats it. You see, Im kind of what you would call... vertically challenged...
I locate and bee line straight to the Street Twin where salesman Joel was already taking to some other customer. After that he approached me and I told him what I was there to do. He gave me some info on the motorcycle and told me to let him know if I needed any assistance with anything. The motorcycle details that he gave me as part of his sales job was verified true because I already new that information before I walked into the showroom. He then gave me my space with the motorcycle. I immediately gave him a +2 points for respecting my intelligence by not trying lame sales tactics, tell me some BS about the motorcycle, or trying to pressure me to purchase the motorcycle.
After my song and dance celebration drew to a close, which was triggered by me being able to flat foot the motorcycle, I then decided to engage him so he can give me some numbers for me to consider for my eventual purchase of the motorcycle some time. Yes, I know, I only went to "sit on the bike".
He worked with my financial limitations and verified with the manager a few times on the best price he could whip up. I noticed that Joel was rather expeditious with printing out some paper work for me and also while checking with the manager on price flexibility, so I gave him a +1 point for being light on his feet and not wasting my time. He then gave me the best price they could do, we shook hands and I walked out with the quote.
Over the next few days I then checked with the area competitors and only a far away dealer beat Joels price by $200.
I was all set to drive out to go purchase the motorcycle but decided to run this best price that I got by Joel and Magic City Cycle, because of the good initial experience that I had with him when I went to go "sit on the bike". He was off that day so I interacted with Salesman Mike, who politely matched the competitors motorcycle price and saved me the trip.
I arranged to go buy the motorcycle and showed to do so. They then quickly wheeled the bike off the floor for final tuning and Joel and manager Mike quickly processed my paperwork and payment and even manager Mike got into the action and found a way to save me a cool $56 at the end right before I paid for the motorcycle. That action coming directly from the manager Mike (who I understand took over as manager of the place) on top of the best motorcycle price that I found on this motorcycle, gets two thumbs up from me and speaks volumes about the reputation that Magic City Cycles is trying to build up.
The take away is that my purchasing experience was a win/win scenario, where Magic City Cycle and team facilitated/matched the best price on the motorcycle that I could find in Central Florida, they made their decent profit on the sale, and I rode off on a brand new Street Twin not feeling ripped off or conned.
Oh!.. and I had also preemptively shopped their service departments impending motorcycle service prices that I will have to face with the new motorcycle and even there they were coming up at least $5 less than their competitor that I almost bought the motorcycle from.
I looks like manager Mike and staff are trying to run an honest motorcycle shop and build the brand, so sign me up for all my motorcycle service and needs at your shop. You made a new customer.
Great job Joel, Mike, and manager Mike.
Two thumbs up.

I went to Magic City Cycle to look at a used Can Am Spyder for my wife. My first time at the dealer. Let me say I was not dressed the part; jeans, Harley sweatshirt and combat boots. I was greeted promptly and professionally. My sales rep was Michael and I will say he knows his bikes. While waiting for them to get the Spyder I inquired about their other bikes. Mike gave me the rundown and offered a test ride. I rode a BMW and a very nice bike just not for me. Then I asked about the Ducati. Mike again said lets go ride. I must say the Ducati is an impressive machine. I have gone into Yamaha and Honda dealers without any attention and definitely no offer to test ride. I actually was coming from a KTM dealer and they said all bikes are dry and no battery so no test ride. Later that week I brought my wife back to see the Spyder. All good and the bike was prepped and ready. Very easy. The following statement is huge regarding their character. My wife was trying on helmets to check weight and sizes. Afterwards the parts department came over and asked my wife if she lost an earring. She flipped and was so thankful for him stopping over as this earring was a 1.5 carat diamond stud. This could have gone anyway but this business has such high character and high dignity among their employees it went the right way. Any way the sale was easy, and most importantly I felt good after my purchase. I gave them 5 stars because they treated us very professionally on a bike that is not even their brand. Could you imagine if you bought one of their bikes; which I am very seriously looking in to. Magic City Cycle has new management and they are creating a positive shopping and buying experience.

The service I received at Magic City Cycle (aka Triumph of Orlando) was simply terrible. I have no plans to ever return for any reason. I dropped my motorcycle off on a Wednesday to check out why it was not starting. They said they would call me with an update. After hearing nothing for two weeks, I finally called them. The service manager Cory stated they ordered a part and were waiting for delivery. Wait, did I OK this? Why wasnt I informed prior to an order being placed? Moving on, they said the part would arrive the next day. After waiting one full week, I called for an update. I was told that the part just happened to arrive that day (one week after they said it would) and they would install it the next day. If youre keeping track, Ive received zero calls and have called twice, both times there were updates that shouldve been relayed to me. OK, so I wait yet one more week, and were now at almost 4 full weeks since I dropped it off. I call, and the bike is finally fixed and ready for pickup. Why wouldnt they call me to let me know?? Ive had to call three times now. So after 1 month, and all phone calls initiated by me, I pick up my bike. I pay my bill (which included 2 hours of labor), and ride off. TWENTY MINUTES LATER...yes 20 minutes, the bike dies with the exact same issue as before. So after dealing with these guys for a month, paying over $250, I am right back where I started, except Im stranded without a ride. TLDR; if you like to overpay for crappy service, stop on in. Otherwise, find someone else.
